Is it just me or....

I was playing Sonic Adventure at my friends house the other day. We went to Eggman/ Robotnick's layer and we noticed something. There are chambers and in the first chamber is Metal Sonic, while in the second chamber is...well, we were trying to figure that out. He thinks it's like an early Shadow, while I think it's an Advanced Metal Sonic. Please clear this up. Thanx in advance.

Metal Sonic model, methinks. Not only does it look like it, but Shadow was in the research facility since his creation. He was never made or altered by Eggman.

If i know my sonic i believe that could be Metallix.

Its kinda like an advanced version of Metal Sonic from a different Game.

I know there was a Metal Sonic way back in Sonic 2 but im not sure which Game the Second Sonic Robot was in.

Although Metal Sonic was in the Movie.

its Mecha Sonic (or Silver Sonic) from Sonic 2. It even has the face on it's chest doesnt it?
It's easy to tell, Silver Sonic has spikes going down to his back, none of the other machines did :D

and Sonic Adventure 1 was a launch game for the Dreamcast, the game is years old, it couldent possibly be anything to do with Shadow.
