Ever since I got a look at holo Swampert, Sharpedo, and Seaking from EX R/S, I've wanted to make a deck based around them. I've figured out my basic strategy: to get Swampert out first, powering up my Active or Actives, then quickly evolving my main attacker (Sharpedo) to put a lot of damage on my opponent's pokemon, and finally finishing off those weakened pokemon with Seaking's Water Arrow, or Water Cube 01 attached to whatever I have Active instead. The only problem I have is deciding which deck-searching cards are best for my deck. Here's my current deck, containing all the cards I'm choosing from:

4 Mudkip (Bubble)
3 Marshtomp (Slash)
2 Swampert (Hypno Splash)

4 Carvanha
3 Sharpedo

4 Goldeen (RS)
3 Seaking (RS)

4 Water Cube 01
4 Pokemon Breeder Fields
4 Master Ball
4 Prof Elm's Training Method
4 Traveling Salesman
4 Relic Hunter
4 Oracle

5 Water energy
4 Darkness energy

I want to keep Water Cube 01, Breeder Fields, and Master Ball, but I can't decide which of the other Trainers I should leave out in order to make room for more Water energy. Could someone please help me out in that department?

What the hell...

I know that u shouldnt have too much energy in ur deck, but only nine?! Boy, u couldnt even power up more than 2 pkmn with that!

Anyway, seaking's gotta go, no matter how much i luv this strong-weak pkmn. Swampert and Sharpedo dont really go well together either. Also, remember that modified doesnt include RS, so playing w/ RS means ur playing Unlimited format, which allows u to use any cards (save the standard banned cards like ancient mew).

Anyway, sharpedo only needs 1 water to work, so that swampert aint really useful unless ur thinking of putting 2 energies per turn. Id suggest using the other swampert, cuz apart from its healing properties, it can attack the bench by itself (thus removing the need for seaking), not to mention lower retreat cost.

I'll also suggest mirage stadium to stop ur pkmn from retreating when sharpedo is ur active. A combo i can recommend is oracle and bill. Star piece can help in evolving, if u can get 2 damage counters on the pkmn first. Weakness guard can be a good tech against lightning pkmn.

My completely reformed deck fix, the first in mths:

Pkmn(20)
4 carvanha
3 sharpedo
4 mudkip
3 marshtomp
3 swampert (the OTHER one)
3 fossil lapras (got a better idea?)

Trainers(26)
2 oak
2 copycat/oak research
3 com.search
2 itemfinder
3 trader
3 oracle
3 gold berry
2 E.charge
2 town volunteer
4 removal

4 dark
2 recycle
8 water

However, if u want a modified version, change the lapras to the SI one, or any other BBPs. The rest, do this:

3 elm
3 oak's research/copycat
3 bill
4 oracle
3 gold berry
2 town volunteer
2 E.charge/Power charge (meh, same thing)
3 trader/breeder fields
2 warp point/double gust/switch

4 dark
3 recycle
8 water

Meh, never done this for a long time, so sue if its screwed.

For Lapras, you can also try NR Qwilfish.

Not if u can help it. Its not that good for stalling, and only so-so at dealing fast early damage, relying too much on luck.

Btw, anyone caught the movie Whale Rider? Not really for those action buffs and wafer-thin plot-and-story lovers, this one's a gem (masterpiece if u want a rewording) and u'll need a subtle mind to fully appreciate it.
