Heh. My first poll XD

1) What genre of music do you like the most?

2) What genre of music do you not care for?

3) What music do you find relaxing?

4) Do you think CDs are overpriced?

5) How many CDs do you have?

6) Do you have a TV?

7) What do you use your TV for?

My answers:
1) I like mostly Pop Rock, and a little bit of jazz.

2) Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Rap, because the first two are noisy, and Rap is offensive most of the time.

3) I find ballads and jazz relaxing, because it's full of meaning and soul.

4) I think CDs were overpriced, but they've been lowered now, so I don't really think they are that bad anymore.

5) Not many. x_o Probably about 10.

6) Yes. But I get like 7 channels :< It's an old TV.

7) I mostly use my TV for my N64, because it's pointless to watch it when you get the most pointless and boring channels there are xD

1) What genre of music do you like the most?
Rap, hip hop.

2) What genre of music do you not care for?
Rock and all its forms. It's just not my thing.

3) What music do you find relaxing?
I think RnB has some very relaxing songs. Most of the RnB songs today though is pretty much just pop, but there's some good ones out there.

4) Do you think CDs are overpriced?
Yes. ~_~ Especially when the CD is just released.

5) How many CDs do you have?
I have about 10 - 20 bootleg CDs, and two real CDs. I'd rather buy the 3 to 5 dollar fake CD than the read 15-20 dollar real one. :\

6) Do you have a TV?
Of course! Not my own tv though.

7) What do you use your TV for?
I usually watch cartoons, music videos, and the weather (pratically everyday when school's in).

1) I like random hard rock, punk rock, metal, grunge, and pop rock bands. Rock is goooood. I also like some 80's new wave and pop stuff on occasion because it's.. dorky. I don't admit that to anyone though. O_o

2) I hate country. I have to hear that crap every time I'm with my family in the car. And then my dad gets into these frickin disco phases, and he'll put on some retarded disco cd and turn it up to maximum volume. It makes me wanna blow my brains out, it's so horrible. O_o;; I don't really like most rap or hip-hop either. And I hate pretty much everything currently on MTV and on Top 40 radio stations. Yeah, I hate everything. Point out the obvious, why don't you? =P

3) I never really listen to music for relaxation, I like it to be energetic and upbeat. But, I guess classical stuff, it's really pretty. =D Sister Hazel is kind of relaxing...but I envision Laura Croft shooting things when I hear their songs, because when I was obsessed with the Tomb Raider games, my brother played one of their CD's nonstop. Seriously, it's scary. There's a love song playing, and I'm hearing shotgun blasts. O_o

4) Yeah. They are overpriced. You shouldn't have to pay $17 for a cd with one decent song and ten fillers. I'd probably be more willing to buy cds if I could sample them for longer than 30 seconds. *kills the moronic, greedy artists who don't agree with Napster* I mean, really, isn't being an artist all about exposing your art to as many people as possible? But I guess there are very few artists around anymore.

5) Not enough. My bad CDs, that I bought when I was very musically-challenged, far outnumber the good ones. I honestly want to burn some of my those cds though, they're so horrible, and I'm ashamed I was once dumb enough to like them. I don't even want to sell them, because I don't want to be responsible for destroying more peoples' minds. *dumps cds into open fire* Burn! Burn in hell! Mwahaha! >=)

6) Yeah, I have a little TV with a VCR. ^_^

7) Uh..watching random shows. Especially the Simpsons, and those cursed VH1 "I Love the 80's" shows that I can't stop watching.

1. Rock. Well, most forms of rock, that is...

2. I don't understand rap music much, so it's hard to like it. Also, I don't like anything that's overplayed on the radio. It's not that it's bad music, but it ruins the song really. You know something's wrong when you hear one song on two different radio stations at the same time.

3. Anything from Radiohead. That and Coldplay.

4. CD prices range from $10 to $20. So if you find the right place with the right price (anywhere but Wal-Mart), you'll be fine.

5. I don't really know. I share some with my father, very few with my mother, and none at all with my sister. I would say I have 20-30 CD's of my own, and 15-25 that I listen to frequently. CD > Radio.

6. I have three TV's, one that is semi-broken. That semi-broken TV will be mine someday...someday...

7. Mostly for watching...TV. I don't play my Playstation2 much, on account that it sucks and I don't have many games to play (THPS4 and Timespliters2, both beaten). I occasionally watch some DVD's on it, however.

1) What genre of music do you like the most?
Industrial and Metal and combinations of the two. Techno's cool too. I also like video game soundtracks and remixes.

2) What genre of music do you not care for?
Rap and pop, because the artists don't have much talent.

3) What music do you find relaxing?
Trance, because it puts me in a trance.

4) Do you think CDs are overpriced?
Of course. I don't want to pay $10-20 for an hour of music.

5) How many CDs do you have?
Over 100 if you count the ones I never listen to.

6) Do you have a TV?
I have one in my room, and there are 3 others in my house.

7) What do you use your TV for?
The one in my room is used for Gamecube, PS1, N64, and Cable.

1. Any form of rock/metal works for me... well, I tell a lie, some subgenres are just too tuneless or boring for my tastes, but 90% of bands I can listen to and not despise their sound.

2. Pop, or at least theblatantly manufactured kind that even the eight year old teenyboppers are getting bored with. :P Then there's dance/house/techno/whatever it is that seems to the uninformed to be just a lot of bleeping, I fail to see how anything without a distict mood or lyrics can be any good. I dislike country too, but this is prolly more to do with me current neighbours than anything else. :o

3. Anything a little slowed down. Some nice, slow gothic nonsense such as late Anathema or the slower Evanescence tracks. Or the odd Final Fantasy 6 piano piece I have on mp3, that's normally good. *loves Celes' theme* ^_^;;;

4. Hell yeah, especially when you KNOW the artist's only gonna get about 50p per sale anyways. Fortunately there's a handy-dandy shop near me uni that specialises in second hand and promotional CDs, where I can normally pick up good albums for about five quid. So at least *I'm* not paying over the odds for my music. :P

5. 200+. I dread having to shift this little batch when I move out, there's easily a removal van's worth of just music! ;_;

6. Yup, there's one in me room, plus one in the lounge.

7. My TV is used solely to play video games on coz the reception ain't brilliant. If I wanna watch TV I'll go downstairs where we have Sky, nothing on the yerrestrial channels excites me lately anyways. :o
