“What would you say if I told you that there was five core dimensions? Would you say I am wrong? Well, I’m not. The fifth core dimension was removed from all known existance. There isn’t a single piece of evidence to suggest there is a fifth world. Why? I don’t know.
But I’ll ask you this, portal-tripper. Where are you? What, your scanner can’t tell you. What, it’s says you are in the Central Multiverse Point? The centre of the Multiverse. My my... what a shock. That is the same place as the fifth world.
Don’t look at me like that. Does this place look ‘anything’ like another dimension? No. And why is that. It’s because this is a whole new core. A new core part of the Multiverse.
Welcome to the beginning of your end, for now, this is all there is.
-- The Prophet, greeting one of the ‘Unfortunate’

Author's Note
Way way way back in the day here on Pokemasters, there was this RPG called 'Time-Space Continuum'. Although originally a Pokemon RPG, it somehow converted itself into a long-running sci-fi RPG. This was followed by 'Time-Space Continuum 2: The Portal Re-Opens'. That RPG, TSC2, was one of the first RPGs I joined. It ran for about a year and a half, had over three hundred posts, and was played by up to six players at a time. After the end of TSC2, TSC broke away from Pokemasters to form itself as an independent RPG. So far, it is now 'Time-Space Continuum 4: Ad Infinitum' and is a member of one of the largest (if not the largest) RPG groups online.
But more on-topic, I am bringing a TSC RPG (not TSC4 or TSC5, but an independent RPG in the TSC Multiverse) back to TSC's roots: Pokémasters.
This is that RPG: TSC - Paradox

Time-Space Continuum
PARADOX

Created by Craig ‘Lord Hotshot the First’ Mackie
Based on TSC by Jennifer 'Mewtwo-D2' Johnson

Rated by the GM as a MA-17/18 RPG

At the Central Multiverse Point there is a dimension.
In that dimension, is a world.
That world is Paradox, the lost fifth core world.
Those who enter Paradox never leave.
There are those who embrace their new life.
The crew of the Unfortunate are some of those people.
They move around Paradox, looking for a means of escape. The Unfortunate is a massive hovertank, built using savaged Kalikarian technologies. Their Captain ‘The Prophet’ guide them on their way around the world.

Djinn, how many RPGs have you reserved spots in so far? It's gotta be a record :P.

Name: Bawdewyn "The Beast" Rivers
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Origin: Unknown
Occupation: Mercenary
Species: Ikagion (A race of humans who are much larger than normal humans, and have incredible eyesight and hearing)
Description: 6'8" tall and very muscular. He's tanned and has short, spiky black hair and dark brown eyes. He wears a black sleeveless shirt and baggy black pants, as well as black combat boots and black leather gauntlets with metal plates attached to them, and he wears a large black hooded cloak over it all.
Personality: Usually pretty quiet, doesn't like to draw any more attention to himself than his size already does. He likes kids and they enjoy watching his feats of strength, so he's become rather famous with the children. If he grows to like someone, he'll open up to them more, and be more like a normal human, but if he doesn't like someone, then he'll make it known.
Weapons: A huge hammer that most humans can't even lift, which he can swing with great ease, and a lot of throwing knives.
Powers: Rage (Turns him into a Berserker, he becomes five times stronger and faster, and doesn't feel any pain, though he sometimes can't tell friend from foe).
History: Not much is known about his history before he became a mercenary. All that is known is that when he was 18 he was hired by a rich man to protect him from a syndicate, and he took down the entire syndicate on his own. After that, everyone kept their ears open for news of him being hired again, because it always resulting in something spectacular. And children flocked to him, asking for him to lift something incredibly heavy, so he's rather famous, but not well known.

Name: Hokuto Shiratori
Age: Looks like he's in his mid-thirties, but is actually 21
Gender: Male
Origin: Alternate Earth
Occupation: Wandering Monk
Species: Human

Description: Tall, about 6'1", with a surprisingly muscular, yet still slender frame. His hair is a dark black mingled with strands of gray, surprising for someone so young. Fairly long it, falls to about mid back and pulled into a ponytail. Dark, chocolate brown eyes hide behind a pair of specs perched precariously on his nose. Wears a dark black coat over a long-sleeved, white shirt, black pants, and shoes. Roman crosses are emblazoned on the cuffs and back of his coat in white trimmed with gold. The one on his back looks as if it is surrounded in flames and a dragon entwined around the cross. A pair of white, fingerless gloves cover his fists and a silver cross dangles from a chain around his neck. A bracelet of rosary beads encircles his right wrist.

Personality: A simple man, Hokuto is very friendly and amiable. Ever optimistic, he keeps a good outlook on life, even if he was sentenced to death in the next twenty-four hours. He is also an attentive listener and gives some fairly sound advice once you get past his initial positive response. He believes things are pre-determined by his god and puts great faith in the knowledge that he is doing his work. He is very sure that he and the crew of the Unfortunate will be able to escape Paradox eventually.

Weapons: Prefers his fists, but carries a kodachi sheathed on the back of his belt. He also carries quite a large amount of paper charms/ofudas
Powers: Wields a variety of holy and fire spells, though most of his holy spells require him to use ofuda/charms. He is also an accomplished martial artist, though he doesn't really brag about it.

History: Raised by Yohko, a priestess as well as his sister, and his father, a retired warrior, in a small village in the mountains, Hokuto was trained in both martial arts and magic from the day he could both walk and talk. His mother, whom had died soon after his birth, had prophesized that Hokuto would face a great trial in his life. She had made both Yohko and her husband swear to make sure that Hokuto would be ready to face this trial when it came. The little boy proved an apt pupil and excelled in his training. A great tragedy struck though, when his father died of a great plague that of late had been ravaging his homeland. His sister, though a priestess, was struck by it as well and there was nothing that Hokuto or the other members of the church could do. Not wanting to lose the only family he had left, Hokuto prayed night and day to the god Shei'kal. Finally, the god answered his prayers, coming to the fifteen year old Hokuto while he sat at the altar. He agreed to let Yohko live, but on the condition that Hokuto sacrifice something in return. He agreed readily and a shining white light suddenly blinded him. When he could see again, he found himself in front of the altar once again. Think of nothing but the health of his sister, Hokuto ran out of the temple to his home. He was met halfway by some of the townsfolk and acolytes. They excitedly told him of his sister's sudden recovery from the illness. Hokuto was overjoyed, but some of the folk pointed at his face and seemed surprised too. Wondering why they were, the young man asked if something had happened to him. One of the women held a mirror to his face and Hokuto was surprised to find that he had aged! Shei'kal had taken some of his life to save Yohko's. Despite this, Hokuto swore an oath that day to serve Shei'kal to thank him for saving his only family. His service to the dragon god transported him to the Unfortunate though he has yet to know what role he is to play....

This is the first RPG i've signed up for in a while. I've been away for some time...

Name: Rob Nightshade
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Origin: Dalia, a large port city which is the center of trade for most places...
Occupation: Bouncer. :P
Species: Human.
Description: He stands around 5'10", and is reasonably muscular, as he's a workout freak. He has kinda tanish skin, and had longish brown hair that comes down to around his eyes, but is slightly shorter in the back and sides and brown eyes. He dresses in black cargo pants with a chain running from his right pocket to his right knee, a grey T-shirt with a red dragon upon it, and over that he usually wears a black jacket with some furry crap around the neck area that is grey and white in color. Various studs and spikes cover the jacket, with concentrations in the shoulder areas. He alsowears darkly colored boots that are rather plain to look at. On his hands he wears gloves that dont cover his fingers, red in coloration.
Personality: Rob is a hotheaded individual, which can either save his @ss, or land him and his allies in deep sh*t. He's not afraid to speak his mind, and likes to meet new people. He has a great sense of humor, which he often expresses freely, though his humor sense can ocassionally be offensive to those around him. He loves the company of women and loves to flirt, and never ceases to "go gettem' ".
Weapons: He uses a variety of weapons, but his general choice for combat is a rather large sword with several spikes running along the hilt and a large, shiny steel blade, and in his other hand, he often equips a device that covers his hand and his knuckles, and is adorned with spikes all over the knuckle area. It is primarily used for punching. It is red and grey in coloration, and the spikes are bright silver.
Powers: If he gets incredibly angry, he will mutate into one of several different forms, including a dragon of sorts, a devil-type monster, and a gigantic fenrir-type monster. Each of his several forms is incredibly powerful and attacks all living things in the area without mercey, including his allies...
History: His parents gave birth and raised Rob until he was five, but their family was poor and they could no longer support their child, and so they gave him up for adoption. He was devestated, and furious at his parents, and so he ran away from his new "home". A traveling stranger passing through the town noticed the small boy and reluctantly took him in, which at first Rob did not agree with.He was brought to a different town, the small village of Ryshu. Rob learned that his new parent was a swordsman named Kyoren, and in about a year, Rob and Kyoren had become very close. Adittionally, Kyoren began teaching Rob the art of war at seven, and when he was fifteen, he had mastered the art of fighting and his skill outdid his teacher's.

At seventeen, a traveling horde of barbarians invaded Ryshu, and pillaged the land. There were not enough villagers to defend each other, and so the town crumbled before the horde's feet. Kyoren was slain in the midst of the battle, and so Rob ran for his life and fled about twenty miles back to Dalia, where he took up a job as a bouncer at a local bar. Later that year, a battle tournament was held in Dalia, and fighters from all around the land registered to compete and win. The prize was being kept a secret, and so the only way to find out what the elusive privalege was was to enter the contest. Rob registered, and breezed through his first few rounds. He struggled through the next, but stayed on top, and had made it to the final bracket. He was up against a farmiliar face, the general of the barbarian horde that destroyed his home, his friends, and his father. Driven by his rage, the first of his strange mutations took place, and his effortlessly slaughtered the barbarian. Luckily, he was restored to his normal form soon after, and his prize was unveiled: The right to become part of the crew of the Unfortunate. He accepted, seeing as he had nowhere to go, and nothing to do.
He still has never gotten over the sadness he had been through, though he masks it well.
(Lame history, I knoew, but bare with me...)

Sorry for the minor delay. I'm going to wait for a few more days before starting.

MToolen, lugia_2000, Prof. Jb Wolf, Darkmaster Kagemusha: All accepted.
fireguardian: Could you please remove this 'Death Key'. I'm attempting to avoid what appears to be 'superhuman' characters. Also, just sticking to TSC history, it wouldn't fit in well.

That is all for now!
