... Of beaing beaten at Duel Monsters (Yugioh) I am sick of fantastic strategies that are great on paper but can never be pulled off in a real duel as the one card that you need just happens to be sitting quite merrily at the bottom of your deck!
That is why I scowered the internet looking for the strongest cards and the best strategy and I came accross a site called Edo's Yugioh (Make sure you but the ' in Edo's or you get a bunch of porn instead :rolleyes: ) Which had a deck called:
DEVIL FRANKEN
This is sorta like an iNSaNiTy deck for Pokemon and that always worked well for me, basically it is a quick hit deck that can get through about half the deck in the first turn.

So without further ado, this is my deck:

Card Explanations: (As written by Edo's)
1. CURSE OF MAGIC-SEALING
Counter Trap
Discard 1 Magic card from your hand. Negate and destroy the
activation and effect of a Magic card. Your opponent can't
activate any cards for the rest of the Duel that have the same
name as the Magic card destroyed in this way.

2. FULL ASSAULT ORDER
Permanent Trap
While this card is on the Field, all face-up Monsters on the
Field change to attack mode, and cannot change their modes while
face-up.

3. MEGAMORPH
Equipment Magic Card
If your life points are LOWER than your opponents, double the attack points the monster equiped with this card. If your life points are HIGHER than your opponents, halve the attack points the monster equiped with this card.

4. LAST TURN!
Normal Trap
You can only activate this card if you have 1000 or less Life
Points and only during your opponent's turn. Choose 1 of your
Monsters on the Field, and all other cards on the Field and in
each player's hand are placed in the Cemetery. Afterward, your
opponent Special Summons a Monster from his or her deck, and bothBattle (Battle Damage to players is negated). At the end of the turn, the player with the remaining Monster wins the duel.
Otherwise, it's a tie.

5. DEVIL FRANKEN
Dark/Machine/2/700/500
Pay 5000 Life Points to Special Summon one fusion monster from your fusion deck.

This deck is called the Devil Franken Deck, and is also known by the "First Turn Kill Deck".

First Turn Kill is an appropriate name since it can do that: destroy your opponent on your very first turn (if you are going second). It's all because of the main card in the deck: the Devil Franken. It allows you to pay 5000 Life Points to Special Summon a card from your Fusion deck.

Here's how the deck machanism goes:

1. Get a Devil Franken into your hand.
2. Clear the Field of your opponent's Monsters (Cyber Jar, Crush Card, Raigeki, Drk Hole etc.)
3. Clear the Field of your opponent's Magic/Trap cards (Harpy's Feather Duster, Heavy Storm, etc.)
4. Summon the Devil Franken
5. Pay 5000 Life Points to summon a Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon from your Fusion deck
6. Equip a Megamorph on the Ultimate Dragon.
7. Attack directly for 9000 damage.
8. Game over.

You are bound to get a Devil Franken by turn two, whether it be drawing it "naturally" from the deck, using a card-drawing card, or using a Monster search engine (like Witch of the Black Forest or Sangan). And that means the Ultimate Dragon is free to destroy things over and over again. The Cannon Soldiers in this deck are there to launch your Sangans and Witches at your opponent to grab the Franken from your deck. The Virus is in the deck for much the same reason. There are some Life Points recovery cards (Dian Keto, Life Absorbing Machine), just in case something goes wrong and you need to recover some LP or you are overly sadistic and want to summon ANOTHER Ultimate Dragon into play (as if one wasn't enough). And of course, to add insult to injury: Last Turn!, to win the game in a different way.

If the game isn't over by turn four, something is VERY WRONG.

Looks good, but be mindful of the restrictions... you've got a LOT of multiples of 1-per-deck cards.

- Witch of the Black Forest
- Sangan

- Graceful Charity
- Heavy Storm
- Swords of Reavealing Light

Remove one of each, and your deck will be fine.

You'll have to add some stuff to make up for it, so may I suggest the following?

+ Mystic Tomato x2
(gets Devil Franken / Witch / Sangan out faster)

+ Mystical Space Typhoon
(m/t destruction - you'll need it)
+ Waboku x2
(since you lost a Swords, this is good to keep your opponent away from your LP)

The key to insanity is Mirage of nightmare... You can go extermely fast for the deck and you would not be worry abt decking out if you hav already hav a MST on the field...

Anyway I lost to that deck once... Well I must kind of admit that that chap was pretty lucky to get all the cards he want on that hand of his... However from your deck, there is lots of cards that is restricted...

I sure I missed out some staples but do add them if you know what is missing... If you're playing the Japanese set, I recommend that you play either Chaos Emperor Dragon or Chaos Soldier. So far now, only these two type of decks run supereme around here.

watch out for restrictions, Sangan and witch are one per deck now. And anyway, Devil Franken isn't as good a deck as it used to be. Few monsters, little to rely on if your plan fails (and it likely will with all the monster removal out there). It'll get ripped by Yata-lock and Black Magician decks cuz Yata lock will find ways to knock the cards u need out of ur hand and Black Magician decks are so fast ur LP will be too low before u can even draw what u need. I'd love to duel u with this deck ^_^

Anyway, I'll try to throw in a fix I guess. Devil Franken would work much better if u focused less on a direct attack and more on a win with Last Battle, cuz there are so many traps and ways to counter it's extremely annoying.

looks fine for me, anyway, i'd go w/ red's fix, looks good imo, by the way, any tcg is like that, when i was playing pokemon hard i did so many plans, so many strategies, bla bla bla, again on paper looks good and i said to my self: THIS gonna work! Well, its not the reality, but keep those ideas on the paper, cuz when we get new sets we can make those strategies better, k?
