Hi, I just wanted to ask:

1- where do you catch Misdreavus in silver and how do you teach it Hypnosis?


2-What is a good Haunter moveset that includes destinies bond?




p.s. I only have access to gold and silver.

1. not sure if you can... you could always trade one from gold... in gold there are lv. 45 missy's in the 2nd floor of mt. silver... hypnosis can't be taught to missy, it's an NYPC move.

2. evolve into gengar, give it destiny bond, mean look, fire punch, psychic... other options are hypnosis, confuse ray, spite, thunder, ice punch, and perish song + protect

Misdreavus can be caught in the wild in all three versions, Gold, Silver, and Crystal, it appears in the back part of Mt. Silver. However, Misdreavus only appears at night. Like titandude21 said, the only way to get a Misdreavus with Hypnosis is by getting one at the NYPC. (Or by using a Gameshark.)

As for Gengar, here is a Perish Trapping/Destiny Bond moveset, it works pretty good.

Gengar

Mean Look
Perish Song
Destiny Bond
Protect
@Leftovers.

For the moveset, I suggest evolving Haunter into Gengar and giving it Explosion-Destiny Bond-Psychic-Elemental punch/filler with leftovers.

As for your first question, I believe Misdreavus can be found in Silver version, at Silver Mountain during the evening.

gengar gets destiny bond through breeding... i believe it can be done missy --> gengar.

Gengar gets Perish Song by breeding with Misdreavus. It learns Destiny Bond naturally at Level 36, (as a Gastly) or Level 48. (as Haunter or Gengar.)
