Ninetales: roar/spite in the last slot

Starmie: reflect/light screen over cosmic power, t-bolt/ice beam over psychic

Medicham: shadow ball ove recover, return/hp rock/baton pass in the last slot

Aggron: Double-Edge, EQ, HP Rock, Roar/Rest

Slaking: Hyper Beam, EQ, Fire Blast/Shadow Ball, Rest/Slack Off/Filler

a flying poke would work in the last slot... swellow/dodrio for UUness, Skarm/Gyarados if you want very OU

Dodrio and Swellow are a few of the most used 200 Pokémon out there!

swellow is definitely UU... dodrio is UU compared to skarm/gyara/sala.

I wasn't looking for UU, but thanks anyway. I was thinking Salamence if I need a flying pokemon, what would a good set, maybe:
Dragondance
Dragon claw
Double-edge
Aerial Ace

go w/ Dragon Dance, Aerial Ace, EQ, Brick Break/Physical Filler or Dragon Claw, Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Crunch/HP Electric/Rest.

as for the OU/UU part, I gave some OUs and UUs as options and left it up for you to decide. I suggested some UUs b/c battling with OUs all the time gets boring after a while.

defenses are too low for recover. shadow ball would be much better.

I disagree, while Medicham has low defences, only Megahorn is super effective against this pokemon giving an advantage. Also when compared to Alakazam's defences/HP statistics, Medichamp is extremely similar and if we look at Alakazams performance in battle using the Recover ability we find it very effective and a must have. I may just use bulk up/recover/hi jump kick/shadow ball and have physical sweeper

what

it has low defences, isnt that exactly the reason you'd use it?


i dont really know that much about RS, but, in general, the rule i use is if a pokemon can learn a move like recover/softboiled, then make them have that move.

not anymore, that only applies in certain situations

regardless of what pokemon it is, if it is a pokemon like alakazam or medicham who will likely have about 260 hp and defenses in the low 200s or lower..thats way to low to use recover. on alakazam, recover is acceptable due to calm mind/speed, but anyways that rule isn't neccessarily always right

Medicham isn't weak to bug... It's weak to Flying & Ghost.

Also, while I understand what you're saying, Medicham does not have the speed to use recover effectively. Bulk Up would help Recover on Medicham, but once again the speed would gaurantee it wouldn't last long.

for one, whats the use of recoverring when just about every move out there does >50% to medicham... its not worth it, and another thing, swellow isnt so ou anymore, but it used to be, guts/facade/stab/cb/speed made it a very good sweeper, cb drio is still ou... swellows been taking a backseat

Uhh... o_O;; Yes, Medicham is weak to Bug, because it's part-Psychic type. Then again, it might be dispelled, because I think Fighting is resistant to Bug. I don't know.

It's not the Speed, it's the Defense. It wouldn't matter if Medicham had Recover or not with a Flying, Ghost or Bug-type out, because Recover would heal less damage than the damage that was done, therefore leaving a remainder which will eventually knock it out. Megahorn is auto, because if it can do 100+ damage to Pokemon it's not even effective against and have a higher Defense than Medicham, AND it's normally effective, it's automatically dead.

Yes, fighting is resistant to bug. So Bug types moves only do normal damage.
