I agree, skarmory really is annoying and does nothing but prolong games, totally agree, find it almost uselesss on my regular teams, heh. Thankfully my trusty zapdos r0x0rs it

eh, i disagree. I think skarmory has its places.

Its a great curser/pseudo-hazer from what i remember. Great defence, only 2 weaknesses etc

problem is not many people bother with curse since now they know raikou & FB lax & champ area s common as blissey. Plus, hardly anyone uses baton passing anymore.

Skarmory can get to be a pain; but like Jet said, Skarm is still a good choice, even with other good pokemon choices around.

Good to use if you're feeling evil and want to make battles longer than need to just as well.

Skarm gets annoying by stalling only if it has the support around it (cough blissey + a few others cough)

skarmory seriously sucks imo..if you want a defensive structure, carefully combine resistances of other pokemon to make one as a team instaed of relying on something, or atleast use a forret or something cuz it can spike/explode.

oh yeah, and skarmory can't attack worth **** besides hera

If you want to ban skarm, why don't we ban all curselaxes and belly laxes. And hell, why not all physical attackers?

GSbot Skarmory [skarmory without certain move..] can easily be owned by kangaskahn and the like ;[ and i'm not trying to start this into a GSbot V Netbattle war. I would still be using GSbot as much as NB if I could...

Anyways, skarm = krap. It can take a hit, but that's it. It ain't good for much else. Tis annoying, yes, but not really a threat. :)

Skarmory has only one thing going for it.. defence, however it has 2 weaknesses to a pair of the more common spcl atk types (Fire, Electric) infact im yet to see a team without 2 or more skarm counters so i dont think its too bad.. GO FIREBLAST LAX!!

I wonder if someone could actually explain to me the use of skarmory, if any, outside of a defensive whore. I mean really now, if all it can do is justpurely defensive then it has no use in the game. I know g/s/c is defensive, but for god's sakes, yu have to kill the opponent's pokemon to win. This is still a myster to me today ;\

Skarmory is a nuisance, nothing more. It eats a lot of physical attackers, but if you have a problem you can easily give most of them Fire Blast or, for great justice, SURPRISE THUNDER. It's most problematic when involved in an affair with Blissey, but there are a number of ways, both overused and underused, to stop that combo.

Isn't Magikarp already banned? At least, Splashkarp?
