I'm going to see ROTK on the weekend after it comes out, and then I'll be heading over to Miami for Winter Break. So yeah, of course I'm psyched! :)

(12/1) When did you first start liking Pokemon? Do you still like it or do you hang out at TPM because TPM is cool?

I didn't think I would like it, it didn't seem appealing to me, but back in 6th grade (1998-1999), some kid brought in a Pokemon Guide and I looked through it, and I decided to get the R/B games, and I was instantly addicted. I hang out at TPM because it's one of the few boards I'm active in and theres a lot of stuff to do.

(12/2) Does (or did) your school (including any school you graduated from) have any Christmas/holiday traditions? Which one do (or did) you like best? Why?

My elementary school had Christmas sing-along gatherings where everyone would sing Christmas carols the day before Winter Break started.

They have a few but it's only a few school shows and maybe an art exhibition or something, nothing major. o_O

I use good old Internet Explorer, lol. I have DSL now, which is great because I used to have that AWFUL AOL Dialup -_-;; That was a pain in the neck, I can tell you. I'm very happy with hat I have now, however. =D Everything is so much faster.

Basically its internet explorer, powered by dot.net. At home its dial up and slow as molasses in wintertime. Here at uni its dsl, and its online anytime the computer is and i love it ^^. I'm just happy that i can acccess the net so yeah.

I use Internet Explorer as my browser and I think that's alright to use because it's easy. I have a DSL connection that we've only just got because we've moved to an area that has it because it's rare to find in the UK. I'm happy with what I have because I'm always online after school talking to my friends and looking around TPM.

Unless you count rarely doing work in the days before the holidays, then no, there was once a Christmas show at my secondary school in Year 9, where all the teachers dressed up and made fools of themselves, but other than that, no. There's talk of doing something in the Sixth Form though, which should be interesting if it actually gets off the ground.

Internet Explorer and I have Dial Up. Dial Up is a right pain at times because it seems to go through phases of not wanting to connect, saying that you've got an invalid password/username, then connecting the next time you try without changing anything, but seeing as it lets me get online, I just grin and bare with it^_^

Mozilla Firebird and a cable modem. Firebird is great with the tabbed browsing and the popup blocker. The cable is great because it's really damn fast :D!

I haven't had that many firsts maybe in real life battling someone on RuSa and it was really scary in a real battle but I won. A first on TPM would be when I first started PCG Adopting and Capturing Pokemon. I don't think I've had that many firsts of anything lately maybe getting some warnings on PCG games because I've been away a while and the rules have been changed. Also most of my firsts are good firsts I don't think I've had that many bad firsts but you always learn from your mistakes.

Well, not really many firsts. One is the first time i went to the gastrologist this year. It was good in htat it helped to sort out a problems. Also i have had my first boyfriend, Steve, (Aka Dark Dragonite) . We've been together over a year now. I've also been to my first professional musical. The Lion King on Bradway is on tour and it came to Memphis and i saw it Tuesday night. It was awesome. Overall, everything has been good. Its etiher made me feel better, made me truly happy for the first time in my life, or was dun to watch.

The newest first in my life was me finally being able to put in/take out contacts on my own, which means that I've at last been able to take them home with me:) That was only on Monday, so it's probably been the newest one in my life, unless you count today when I had my hair proffesionally coloured for the first time, but importance wise, contacts wins hands down. Yep, all my firsts have been good at the moment, and normally are^_^

The weather where I live now is mostly rainy and cold and sometimes misty in the mornings. I hate the weather patterns right now I wish we had some more sun here or just a fine day without much rain or cold.

I started a few months ago and left TPM for two months when I lost my internet but now I'm back. I like it now I haven't seen many changes but the thing I like is I became a Pokezoo Battle Tower Ref what I always wanted to be. Keep it like it is now unless you're going to make small improves that'll make it even better.

Often cold for autumn/winter/early spring, we had the heatwave in the summer though, which was nice for a while, before the constant heat got annoying. It rains quite a bit normally, but it hasn't been doing it that much this year. I don't mind it though, I'm used to it.

I started Adopted Pokémon in around June, just after I registered, and Captured Pokémon about, um, September, I think.
Unless you count the new sub-forum, it hasn't really had any significant changes to the overall games. I just like the overall 'feel' of the games, the capture centers are fun to particiate in, and writing out the battles for the TDBR and CCBA are great for improving my writing skills:yes:

Umm... It's the first I think I saw someone at TPM whom I knew rather well being impersonated (I hope). Also, a day or so ago, my first AP got a free TM move... Other than that, nothing unusual happened if you ask me.

Mostly soft winters and modest summers. Lots of rain. It's Belgium, so that figures. Well, it ain't always nice, but it's nicer than in other places, I guess (though you try convince yourself o' that while you're freezing).

In May 2003 I adopted my first Pokémon, Rays the Chinchou. Well, there's been the whole subforumizing of AP/CP, and I became a worker here after a while, and since none of those changes can be called 'bad', I like this place the way it is.

No, then people would be dirt rich, and actually earning stamps yourself at BRS, Battle Ranges, etc. etc. would ruin the point in actually earning them yourself.

They can be bought high and sell low for a reason.

It a nice sunny day, a little on the chilly side. Meh, its been crazy these last few weeks. In the 60s-70s one day then 30s and 40s the next. i think though its kinda settled down now and its just cold. Its ok when its stable, when it flutuates is when people get sick

I started with adopteing somewhere around march of 01 shortly after i joined not sure exact date. Captures, i'm not exactly sure when i started. My adoptees did undergo a bnig change at one point when i released BRun and Ivy into the wild. I like my team now though Blazer might be havig a few changes soon ^^;;. Cptured team, it underwnet a big change when Crystal Caves started back up. I only have three of my original team of 15 captures Ranec (Shadow), Flare and Oliver. I'm happyu with my team now. ^^ And i have three realy shinies Meir and my shiny eevee twins Zale and Tiana.

Yesterday it snowed, pretty hard. But we still had school. In the winter, it's usually like that, cold temperatures and cloudy skies. Summer averages are around 80 or 90 degrees. Pretty mild mannered. I can't say I like it or not, I'm just used to it.

It's Scotland so it's highly unpredictable. It's really cold right now because it's Winter (It's cold even when it isn't Winter so imagine what it's like now <_<) which isn't very fun when I don't feel all that well.

Um, I'm not sure. o_O I remember Hexae and Angel Blossom told me that I should try it, and that was a few months ago. I also co-own the GT (of course) but I think that was because I could do the job and I was... there o_O

I've had a couple of times when I've been inactive on TPM, mainly in the summer when I was at home virtually every day for four months, and just got sick to death of going on the same thing. Other than that, sometimes I don't come on for a couple of days because I just feel I need a break from the internet. Not concerning TPM, I used to be very active at PUK, but now my computer won't load the site, my activity is now so low that it's good if I go on once a month.
Chances are, it'll happen again here, I know I'll need a break sometime or the other, but it doesn't bother me, because I know I'll need it.

I started as soon as it began, which happened around 3 years ago. Since then, the whole thing went through a LOT of changes. I miss the times when Alex and Nolan worked at Dragon Tamers, and Dean, Charlie and Ryan wrote at the Battle Range regularly, but it's still nice and I still enjoy it a lot. As for the Battle Tower, I think it's never been better. :)

I'm always inactive on other forums I've joined. On TPM, only when I'm away or sometimes during exams seasons. It never lasted more than 2 weeks, and I've always notified my TPM friends of my absence, saying why and how long I was going to be away. It will probably happen again in the same way and under the same circumstances, but I'll never disappear.

In real life farily frequently. xx Most of the time when i mom is in a talkative mood and i'm at hom my dad tells me to be quiet and i'm like its not me.. The last time i remember somethign in which it was family was in fouth frade and i was accused of cheating on a test and i didn't. Long story short the teacher let me take it at a tape by myself and i aced it though she never did believe me. It stinks, but most of th time like at home its amusing otherwise its a pain.

Yes, when my brother and I were little (or not so little) he used to blame me for everything. Eye (^^) have blue-greyish eyes, though it all depends on the light. My hair is dark brown, though, again depending on the light, there appear brown and blond streaks. I have two brushes (that the right discription? they're like hair whirlpools) on the back of my head, so there's this tuft of hair always there when my hair's long. Also, if I've slept on my side, the hair on that side is pointing anywhere. I don't do anything with my hair, except using gel to flat it out again if it's pointing everywhere.

I speak Spanish and English, and a few words in other languages (and a language I invented). There's only 1 official language in my country, and that is Spanish. My eyes may be blue, green or grey depending on the light and angle and who knows what else. My hair is golden, and sometimes turns more brownish or even reddish, also for unknown reasons, just as it gets curlier or straighter and sometimes even triples its volume. I'm beginning to think it has a mind of its own. What remains constant is that it's wavy (though the dimension of the waves tends to change) and very long (hips length). As for doing something with it... I do everything with it. I never take it off! :P Now, really, I brush it and comb it every day, I wash it with shampoo and conditioner twice a week, and I use an anti-frizz cream on it after washing it. I eventually tie it in a ponytail, or make a thin braid on the front, but most of the time I leave it loose.

I don't know how often it's happened exactly (it's happened countless times) and I hate it, mainly because I don't know why I've earned the reputation I have. I speak English, and I'm learning German at school. English is the official language here in Scotland (naturally) but Gaelic is spoken up in places like the Highlands. My eyes are a light blue/grey colour. My hair is naturally a light brown colour, but I dyed it a coppery colour, and recentely had light blonde highlights put in, as well as having the underneath of it dyed back to my origional colour. I also have long layers to give it more shape. It's also naturally straight, which is great because it means I don't have to mess around with hair straighteners like all my friends do^_^ I normally just leave it down, I never have much time in the mornings to do much with it.

I was hoarding Stamps to be able to breed for a mutant Dratini, until I found out "the blue and the wings" won't mix due to inbreeding. Then I hoard them to get Connah to make me a site, but then the lottery came and I thought "what the eck?" and bought 30 Tickets for 60 Stamps. XD Now I'm currently in a lurking phase; I'll see what I'll do. Maybe buy me another Double Shield, or a Beach Ball. Hmm... I speak two or maybe three but the third one I don't speak that much. The languages are English, Latin and Japanese. I think English is the only official one since Latin is called a dead-language and not a lot of people speak Japanese. I rarely post polls except for special occasions and I rarely answer the non-GT ones, and since I rarely answer the non-GT ones, I have little idea as to who posts the best polls. ^_^

I save up over 100 CCPs or Stamps each month, then I spend half of them each month and save up again to begin the cycle once more! Items that I don't need I usually sell or give to other people.

Popups get on my nerves. When I'm going thorugh TPM and I get a whole host of popups it just gets horribly annoying. If I use Mozilla Firebird they don't bother me. The popups I get the most are now barbecues, on which you can cook your meat whilst making it taste nicer. o_O The worst I've encountered is a 'Looking for love?' one that kept getting bigger and bigger. x_x

All the flaming time¬_¬ They're constantly appearing and they do my head especially the ones that;
a) Pop up after the page has loaded and nearly always are over the 'reply' button so I click them instead. Great.
b) When there are more than one on a page, they all come up one after the other and occasionally freeze my computer. Even better.
Um, seeing as I rarely look at them, I'm not sure which ones I get the most, but 'Claim for Compensation' seems to stick in my mind.

I post a lot, usually. What with updating the CCCC and GT (nearly) every day, and other stuff I end up doing quite a lot. Most of my replies go to GT, CCCC, and some go to BRS and things. I post in the AC/CC subfroum the most, but I reply to polls in PCG and I post in Misc and ASB as well.

In real life I tend to save money because I buy video games and stuff which cost quite a lot. I already said what I buy IRL, but OL I buy TMs and stuff for my pokemon, mostly. Unfortunately I don't end up buying stuff that much. I'm hoping that if I hoard my gems and things I can end up with a lot of money by selling them.

I like to spend what I need to and save the rest. If I really want or need something, I buy it. Otherwise, I save my money for when it's needed. I guess the same thing goes for online money like CCPs and NP (I don't have any other kind of online currency). As for wishing I had more... Right now I don't think there's anything I need that I can't afford, so I'm fine. Maybe with some more money we could fix/change a few things at home, but there's no urgency anyway. Having money to travel abroad and meet my penpals and online friends would be nice, though. But I guess other things would take priority first.

I love to read. i'm not eading anything at then moment hough because i jus finished rereading the shelters of stone by Jean M Auel. The best book, now thats a hard one. I have two favorite book series and thats the earth children series by Jean M Auel and the harry potter series by J K Rowling. The detail is wonderful in both and thoguh totally opposite they both are easy to get lost in and fun to read.

Well, I'd have to say that the best book I've ever read was called The Silver Wolf. Umm....who was the author again.. >.< :confused:
can't remember... ah well, its set in ancient Rome, and the way the author writes it... it's just incredible. I haven't read a book yet that can compare. And it seems like it really could have happened! I love the style the book is written in, and the deep, mysterious twists.

Come too think of it actually, Anne Rice is just a millimetre below this book... especially her Taltos series.

It's orange with red squares at the top part of the wall, and then there's a silver border, and blue wallpaper underneath. I don't really like it that much anymore. I've had it since I was about 11 I think and I liked it back then, but I want to change it. I have quite a lot of posters (a few of wolves, on of Samus Aran, a Mario Kart: Double Dash one...) and some of my drawings and certificates stuff. I also have a noticeboard but I never put anything on it.

My bedrooms a light green colour. It's kinda nice, but I've had it that way for years now, it's starting to get boring now. I was going to get it re-decorated over the summer holidays, but a lot of things came up which stopped it from happening. I've got three or four Pokémon ones up, but again, they're all old so I'll probably replace them some time soon.

Posters make it too cluttered, so I have none up. The colour is... plain. Yep. I quite like it so if it suits me then I don't really care what anyone else thinks.

Um, that's to see where you're looking at, actually. The ceiling is ribbled white, 3 walls are covered with dark brown wood, and one wall has white paper with green puppies/kittens on 'em. :rolleyes: The bed, closet and desks are light brownish, and there's posters and other colored furniture, too.

Sure. I dashed through "Harry Pottor and the Ordre of the Phoenix" (the Dutch version has 668 pages) in less than 3 days, didn't I? ATM, I'm reading "Raspoetin", of a writer which, surprise, surprise, lives in the same street as me! The best book... The best book... There've been a good number of good books which I've read (and then forgotten about :D), so I wouldn't know.

(12/17) Do you like to spend or save your money in real life and your money online? What sort of stuff do you tend to buy? Do you wish you had more money?
IRL, there's not much to save. We live right on the edge, so there's never that much spare money around. Online, well, I'm not really buying much, so you can say I'm saving, yeah. Buy: IRL: video games, though with my parent's cash; online: TMs, GT Games (:p). Well, a bit more money would come in handy, especially IRL.

Yes, we have one that is decorated quite a bit. The tree itself is artificial.

My bedroom is mostly white, and I believe it stayed that way since I got my new room. I don't have any posters, but I do have a sort of "banner" that I think has leaves on it...

Yes, we got it a few days ago. We stood it outside for a while before bringing it in. We decorated it about an hour and a half ago, which was fun. It's decorated all over... Yay. It's a real tree, about 6'6 or something.
