Sturdy...?

I just confused myself...

Does Strudy just prevent OHKO moves like Horn Drill & the like or does it actually prevent the enemy from OHKOing you with any move?

If the latter is the case, then are you just left with 1 HP? Also, if that's the case then could you keep switching the sturdy poke in & it wouldn't die as long as you switched it back out after getting hit by one attacK?

Sturdy prevents only the OHKO moves from working. These moves are:

Fissure
Guillotine
Horn Drill
Sheer Cold

When you use such a move against a Sturdy Pokemon you get the message:
"Wild *PK* was protected by STURDY!"

Any other move can still OHKO the Pokemon. Sturdy doesn't help here.
