THE LUCKY KARP
"The only sure thing about luck is that it will change."
Wilson Mizner

Welcome one and all to The Lucky Karp, the place where fortunes are made and destroyed in the blink of an eye! I encourage you all to cool your heels and look around. And don't forget to take a moment to familiarize yourself with the policies, rules, and games of our fine establishment.

Games

The Lucky Karp features some of the most beloved games of chance, with some of our own unique twists. More games are on the way, but feel free to notify us about which games you like and the ones you want to see!

Slots: Nickel slots, anyone? For a mere ¥5, you can try your chance at winning a bit of extra cash. Simply pull the lever and if you get triple numbers, you win ten times that number! The numbers are One through Seven. Getting triple 1s earns you ¥10, triple 2s earns ¥20, and so on. The exception is that triple 7s also gets you a Karp Coin (explained later). Cheap and easy, and The Lucky Karp realizes this. We ask that you limit your Slot to only five times a day. Feel free to try your luck again the next day.

Blackjack: Simple rules for Blackjack. Beat the dealer and you get double the cash back. Beat the dealer by getting a Blackjack (21 exactly without drawing more cards) and you get a Sweet Shake (explained later) or three Karp Coins to boot. There is no set price for Blackjack: bet as much as you like. The Lucky Karp, however, does ask that its guests bet a minimum of ¥15 whenever they play.

Note: The dealer has to hit when total is 16 or lower, and has to stand when at 17 or higher.

Roulette: Pick a number 1-36 and either Black or Red. If the ball lands on your number you get your money back and a Karp Coin. Land on your color to get back what you bet. Land on both and you triple the money back OR get your money back along with two Karp Coins AND a Sweet Shake OR get twice your money back and either a Sweet Shake or three Karp Coins. A minimum bet of ¥10

Fifty/Fifty: Costs 10¥ to play. You have a 50% chance to get three Karp Coins and a 50% chance to get absolutely nothing! Your fate is split in half. An even chance to win or lose.

More games to come!

Prizes

Money: Unlike other businesses, The Lucky Karp introduces the chance to make a little bit of extra cash. What you bet impacts how much you get. Will you play it safe or risk it all?

Sweet Shake: A mix of iron, carbs, zinc, rare candies, and our own secret sauce, this shake boosts a pokemon into the next evolutionary stage. It must be used quickly, as in seven days. For a nominal fee of 10¥, The Lucky Karp can hold off on making your batch for a week. After that week we make the shake and if you don't use the shake it will simply expire and be useless. We at The Lucky Karp are not responsble for expired shakes.

Karp Coins: A sort of currency for our casino, Karp Coins are primarily used to buy pokemon from our stables. At first prices will remain low, but as demand increases certain pokemon will be be a bit more pricey than others. The Lucky Karp will also be selling Sweet Shakes some time in the future, and Karp Coins will be the way to get them. Currently, you can only get Karp Coins by winning our games. There is no way to buy them as of yet.

Karp Coins can also be used for betting. The intial value will be ¥5, but that may change as time goes on. It's generally not reccomended to use Karp Coins as cash unless you really need the money. Karp Coins will kept in The Lucky Karp's own personal vault for those who don't want to spend them right away. Our vault is not free, however, and use of it will cost 5¥ a month. Those who don't pay the Vault Fee will lose all of their Karp Coins on the 15th and 30th of each month. Again, The Lucky Karp cannot help you if your Coins are removed from the Vault. Pay the fee if you have long-term prospects!

Pokemon: The Lucky Karp will have its own stable of pokemon from time to time. You can purchase our pokemon by spending Karp Coins, which are won through games.

Businesses: The Lucky Karp allows its guests to bet anything that is allowed to be bet off, including the ownership of any businesses. This is expected to be a rare occasion, and thus a special event will be held for those interested in betting on such property.

Misc.

As said before, anything can be used to bet. Money, Karp Coins, Pokemon, and even your own Business. If you wish to bet anything besides Money and Karp Coins, please tell a Lucky Karp employee first. We will discuss the value of the item you wish to bet, and if an agreement is met you will recieve that much money in Karp Coins (valued at ¥5). Karp Coins can't be used in the slot marchines, they only take money.

You can only recieve money as a prize unless its a special case (like getting Triple 7s in the Slots or winning 50/50). If you put up three Karp Coins to play Blackjack you will get your Karp Coins back and another ¥15. You will not get six Karp Coins.

All games except Blackjack are powered by Random.org (http://www.random.org).

THE RESULTS OF ALL GAMES ARE FINAL. THE LUCKY KARP CANNOT GIVE BACK OR UNDO THE RESULTS OF ANY GAME ONCE YOU HAVE ASKED TO PLAY.

With those rules out of the way, I know welcome you all to The Lucky Karp! Enjoy your stay!
