The Trick Bike

I did some searching and I couldn't find any info, so I thought I'd ask. There are these 'pipe bridges' that I'm told you need the trick bike to get across, but I haven't been able to figure out how to hop over them with the bike. Can anyone enlighten me?

Press B and up or down at the same time, and you'll hop up or down.
