ok, i can help. the 5th gym is that first gym you came to. remember? when you went in, and some guy took you out and showed you how to catch pokemon, and then you went back in, but the guy never battled you? well, he will now. he uses normal-type pokemon. you are going to go into the gym, and see doors on either side of you. it doesnt matter which doors you pick, because no matter what you will eventually reach the leader either way. his normal-type pokemon are awesome, so either have a real good fighting ready to go, or have all your pokemon up around level 30 for this one. good luck.
