Or, you could go through a list of teams (say, from the NFL) and pick up something there... Viking, Titan, Chief, Raider...
For lack of a better idea, though, you could always call him Dog. It's the Footrot Flats thing to do.

If your pup is registered, these are some registration names. You just pick out one of the names and use it as his recall name.

As you can see, I love coming up with registration names for purebred dogs. Some examples of my Siberian husky names are:

Kieron Red Princess
Siberia's Alaskan Houdini
Brendon of Black
Misty Blue Eyed Jake
Prince Max of Kieron

These are some I've considered and two out of the list are actually registered names of my two dogs and one is a registered name of my friend's Sibe.
