I want to train every pokemon not jist the final evolution-forms, but every species.I already have 60 within 495:35 playing time, 6 of those shinies. So does anybody do that to, or am űI just weird?

You're weird. 400+ hours? Jesus Tapdancing Christ!

You mean like, train ALL Pokémon to L:100? thats a bit much O.o

I myself only train fully evolved Pokémon, 810 hours and 34 L:100s on Sapphire (multiple Pokémon of the same species, ~10 species all together) ^_^, and 900 hours on Gold/Crystal and 136 L:100s (multiple Pokémon of the same species, ~40 species all together). Id guess ive trained around 55~60 species total, i cant even imagine how long it would take to train EVERY single Pokémon O.o.

People call me weird for just having every individual species seperate (rather than just the final forms), wow all to 100? An interesting task. I'm sure it'll be very time consuming too. Good luck.

With 400+ hours I'd see why you had so many shine Pokemon jeeez. Also I had a friend who leveled all of his caught Pokemon up to lvl 50. I persoanlly wouldn't do it, to time consuming...

I have never trained a poke until the level 100, but I assume that training each poke until level 50 would be fun and would be something I'd like to do (as I am a pro-unevolved...)

Hah! You still have a LONG way to go to catch up to me! I've played for nearly 612 hours along with 169 Pokemon that I've trained to level 45! (On Ruby) Plus, I sharked all the unobtainables, except for RBY and GSC legendaries, since I'll get them soon through FR&LF and Colosseum.

On my Crystal, I have over 900 so hours, with ALL of my trained Pokemon at level 60; each! No kidding at all. I still play with Crystal since the day it was released!

Yeah i do that too, when i catch, say a wurmple, il catch 5 of them, keep one as Wurmple, then train two to their final evos and the other two to their secondary forms! Not that il ever use a lvl 50 or 100 Silcoon in a battle anywayz i just thought itd be fun when im bored. I usually train em to level 40 then 100, depending on the level they are caught at.

612 hours? Do you have a life outside of your GBA?!?! I mean JEEZ what the heck do you do in your free time? Oh wait that's simple, you play with you GBA 0_0

heh, I WAS doing that... but I got sick of having no real team and I got impatient and gave up at 80 PkMn and about 200 hours... 2 shiny poochyena.

Eerily, I caught the two Poochyena within five or ten minutes of each other at the same level but opposite genders, lol... weird.

Anyways now I'm just playin' through quickly with a blaziken (lv50 something by Lilycove, not great but then I'm not fighting trainers that ain't in my way yet...). I wanna get all the TMs and access to everything THEN I'll work on my team THEN training every Pokemon... until the next game comes out anyways :D

On my ruby version currently i have all my pokes to lvl 50 but only the obtainables. And im also pro unevolved pokes, that why i like to keep a lvl 50 poke of each evolution. But i have no idea how im going to keep all my pokes in the pc when i get Fr/Lg, ill prolly have to buy pokemon box, something i wasnt planning on doing >.>

Shouldn't be a problem. There are 386 species. Each box in RS holds 30 pokémon max. 386/30=12.867 so you'd need thirteen boxes to hold one of each. There are fourteen boxes in RS.

Or are you planning to try to fit all 386 in Bill's system, which, last we knew, could only hold twenty per? That would take twenty boxes, which is unheard of...

I didnt really do the math, but i guess i dont have to buy Box. Although i was curious on how its going to look like and all. Maybe ill just buy it for the heck of it :P

I bet I'm the only one who actually raised both Shuckle and Wobbuffet to Lv60:P

Shuckle is one hell of a tank!!! Mine's Defenses are WAY high for it's level! It's currently at Lv60, with both Defenses at 260!! And I have a really good move set for it!

Wrap
Toxic
Sandstorm
Rest

That thing is wicked hard to defeat! I totally crushed my friend's Mewtwo with it!

Although, Deoxys is a MAJOR killer! Mine is at Lv40, and KOed my same friend's Mewtwo (He sharked it on Sapphire as an egg, and raised it to Lv78 )! That thing can hammer a more powerful Shadowball than Mewtwo can! Mine has an attack power of 145, but REALLY weak defenses!

I'll make a thread of it on the RS section.

Actually I have a Shuckle at level 100. When I figured out it's potential when i got it I decided to raise it. Do Toxic to them, they hit you afew times, use sleep, regen health, say goodbye to their Toxic'd Pokemon lol.

:( . I had 490 hours on crystal+ gold together, with a full 251 dex, and 17 level 100s. No shinies.

On sapphire, I have 600 hours. 19 level 100s and counting (aiming for 30). NO SHINIES!!!!!!! I have never, ever seen one. It's SO lame. Ive had sapphire since march 2003-ish.

I want to do that, but I doubt very much I ever will. *turns on versions to check the play times* I have a lot of level 100 pokemon on Silver... Well, about 10, which isn't a lot in comparison to some people. o_o; I would be more determined to train them so much if I had a good moveset for them - I don't use RSBot so in-game sets would be fine and prolly quite easy to think up, but eh. I'm lazy. =P

Currently, since I started my Sapphire game again, my pokemon are only about level 50. I've not attempted to beat the Elite Four yet so I'm not exactly focused on training them to the highest level they can possibly be. XP

Up to level 50 is ok, but all your pokemon to level 100 is........
hmmmmm........... its not a thing many want to do!

Isn't training EVERY Pokemon to level 100 a pointless waste of time? What would the purpose of that be?

EDIT: On another note, playing for 612 hours is the equivalent of playing for 25 1/2 days straight.

I'm training every Pokemon to level 100. First I bred the strongest baby of each Pokemon available, and that was from March 2003 to July 2003. Then, I started to train them. Right now, I have 43 at level 100, and I'm currently training Spear the Beedrill, Hasamu the Scizor and Malnorm the Swalot.

I currently have 690:40 logged on, and, uh, I can explain why: I'm homeschooled. :D

Edit: Oh yeah, I hatched over 1500 eggs, and not ONE shiny Pokemon.

hell no, i have time on my hands but not the kind of time to do that, pokemon gets pretty boring to me ingame..i'd rather do otherstuff then spend 500 hours(and you aren't even close!!) leveling up pokemon..damn man. good luck on this one.

I can't believe that my Gyarados is 6 levels under my Blaziken, and its Attack is higher than Blaziken's! Now I have played for 619 so hours... Now I'm training a Pelipper to Level 45, so...

I've played Sapphire for around 600 hours. No shinies. But, at one point, I traded a Wobbuffet to my sister's Ruby to EV train against Duskulls, since they're easier to find. I'm playing on Ruby for this, and find a shiny Duskull. Sister demands to keep it. Another time, my sister was searching Granite Cave for an Abra. She gets it, then tells me to leave the cave for her and go to a Pokémon Centre. On the way out, shiny Makuhita. On Ruby  . My sister thinks it's revenge for all the shinies I found in the GSC generation, the most interesting ones being a shiny Togepi with neither parent being shiny, both members of the Rattata line shiny, one in Silver, one in Crystal, and a shiny Chinchou when I was just fishing for a normal one.

I'm going to start doing that. I want to train every obtainable including unevolved, with each gender, if possible for that one.

Well, we've got awhile till Colosseum comes. But until then, everyone must train hard.

Which currently unobtainable Pokémon will be obtainable in Collosseum? Only the legendaries?

Corasonn222

The GSC pokemon will be in colosseum, however not the first 151. For those you have to get fire red/leaf green.

I'm currently training all the R/S Pokemon to lv100 (I've already done the original 251).
I only have 43 more Pokemon to train until I'm fininshed.

My method is beating the Elite4 with three GBA's/Pokemon Games at once, about 4 times per day.
I also have 650 hours on Ruby and Sapphire, and 150 hours on my new Ruby that I got last month.
My next goal is to train all of the Unown when F/L comes out.

And before you ask, no I don't have a life :P

Riven

I haven't gotten any of my R/S pokemon to lv 100 yet because I'm evolving all the pokemon I can get.

This is a list of my most powerful pokemon that I have been training primarily.

Blaze - Lv85 or Lv87

Rayquza - LV 82

Ninetails - Lv75

and

Salamence - Lv 55

Once I've evolved all the pokemon I can get in Ruby (As I know no one with Sapphire) I'm going to start leveliing up as I have too much time on hands

And I have not ran across any Shinies yet.

You people scare me... 600 hours on ONE game?! That's more than I've spent on all Pokemon games I've ever played... tops for RBY was about 50hrs, 80 for GSC, and currently about 150 for Ruby. As for training, I just pick random ones I find worthwhile and train them to l50 for the battle tower.

What? I've been playing my Crystal since its release date, and have over 900 hours. All of my Pokemon there are at Lv60! :P

rinku

I'm currently 657:59 on Sapphire and have 2 shinies (plus a shiny Starmie spotted in battle tower). Time recorded does not include large chunks of time spent using rare candies to deduce hidden IVs and not saving (hint: nearly dead batteries are great for this as you don't need to worry about having enough power to save! SP owners can ignore this hint - dammit!)

I have to admit I've spent a large amount of time doing berries, contests and battle tower, which probably explains the lowish shiny count. I'm making an effort to raise L100 ones at the moment so I can finally assault L100 battle tower.

I like the idea of raising ALL species to L100. I'll probably be too involved with breeding programs to consider it for a looong time, though. I do like the idea of *having* one of each evo - the lower ones can be allocated as contest specialists if you *have* to have them as "useful".

Ultimate Pikachu

To add to my goal I'll train them all with a decent moveset and see how they do in Battle Tower.
