posts per page

can we get more posts per page in a thread? the maximum now is 40 and sometimes that just doesn't cut it. i know i and many people would like this increased. i'd suggest about 100. it's located in the control panel at thread display options and all you have to do is add ",100" after the 40. not much work at all.

I think the board would like to try and look active, so showing that there are more pages of threads is one way that you can do that. I think that's the reason a lot of forums on the NET keep their No. of threads per page down. Even so, I think 100 is loads and you'd have to do a lot of scrolling ^_^

I think the most I'd like would be 50 but that's just me...I'm okay with the 40. ^^;;;

this isn't for the forum thread list, it's for individual threads. the maximum posts it shows per page for a thread is 40. you can choose your preference in the user control panel. the list of threads displayed in a forum is 25 and that isn't changeable.

Yeah, but a higher number of threads per page is necessary in some forums, such as PCG...
