Today's poll from me is:

What's the worst thing you experienced with each of your five senses?

For me...

Hear:

Um... sounds don't really have much of an effect on me, but perhaps when I heard the news about my friends in the bus crash.

See:

Um... at the pool, in the locker room there was this old man... you figure out the rest. x_X;;

Feel:

Probably when I fell off my bike and crashed into a bar on the way down a hill, I must have drank a lot before then.

Smell and taste:

Probably when I was feeling tired, and collapsed facedown on a pillow, a second later to find that one of my cats pissed on it. :o I swear, I can still taste it =/ in fact, part of the reason that inspired me to post this poll was after I tasted something today which reminded me of that. I guess I'll shut up now, since I can hear you all throwing TMI's at me.

See: My rabbit dead.

Feel: when I had a huge fever...and I hit my hip cuz I fell down the bed.

Smell: My turtles...

Taste: grenadier! thats how I call the food. Potatoes and pasta.

Hear: my mother had a brain tumor.

See: open casket. End of story.

Feel: dead person's hand... dead mother's hand. If you've never felt a person who's lying in their casket, their skin doesn't even feel real...

Smell + Taste: the medicine for diarreah (sp?). It's so disgusting it's not even funny.

LOL, those are interesting things to know, Zak.. oO I too had a bad experience in a public pool locker room. Believe me, it wasn't pretty!

Hearing ~ When I heard bad news about my mother when I was about 6 years old. She had an attack.. I was so frightened, I thought my mom was going to die. Luckily, she's a lot healthier now than she was years ago.

Sight ~ My friends were watching a show on HBO called "Autopsy". I'm sure that most of you know what an autopsy is - and the show did not hide any details from the camera. I almost barfed.. it was soo gross! They had a dead corpse of a young girl and they pulled out her entire digestive system. Then, they sucked out what remained in her stomach & intestines.. BAH! >_<

Feel ~ Well, I haven't had bad luck with this sense compared to you three. However, for almost an entire month, I couldn't eat most food without my stomach burning up. It felt so awful, as if someone was tearing up the inside of me. Geez, during that time, I lost too much weight. It was the worst experience I've had with that sense so far..

Smell ~ Cat poo? XD If any of you have an old cat who has to use a litter box, I'm sure you know how aggrivating & nauseating the smell of it is. If it weren't for the fact that my cat is so loveable and sweet, we would have given him away ages ago. Xx

Taste ~ I suppose that's a tie between the time I stuffed a lot of black licorice in my mouth & the time my sushi had hella wasabi on it. *sniff* Those two foods must be banished from existence! ^^

Feel:

Hitting my chest on a metal bar at the park >.<;; If I had fallen slightly faster I could have seriously damaged my heart.

Smell and taste:

Smell - Cat piss.
Taste - Whenever I get a cold, chocolate is disgusting >.<;;;;;

Hear: The worst thing I probably heard in my life, that my Mother had cancer.

See: Seeing my mother in the hospital bed dying, and her in the open casket.

Feel: Probably touching her skin when she was cold in the open casket, it was some freaky times.

Smell: The night with the open casket, they had all these flowers and it just smelt awful and made it feel more bad.

Taste: Macoroni Cheese.

Hear: Hmm, mine is more of a non-specific thing, but there was once a car crash in front of my house (when I was younger), and it was on fire, as a result, it sort of exploded with a loud bang (I was supposed to be asleep at the time, but I was watching it through my bedroom window). That was some horrible stuff, since I believe there were people right nearby that were hurt as a result.

See: I'm going to have to go with my grandmother (when she actually died), as I was the one to discover it happened.

Feel: I once stepped in my dog's feces in a dark room. Squish.

Smell: Cleaning up the 'feel' category.

Taste: Hmm, I'm not too sure about this category, I imagine it may have been the time I was just dared to mix random ingredients from my fridge into a cup then drink it. (Some primary ingredients were flour, cola, and raisins..)

smell: cigarette smoke = disgusting
feel: i once sliced my finger open with my razor because i didnt think it would cut me. ouch.
