Meganium set?

I'm looking for a Meganium set for my crystal. I was thinking something along the lines of

MEGANIUM@Focus Band/Leftys/Miracle Seed
-Sunny Day
-Light Screen
-Synthesis
-Solar Beam

Works like LS, then sun. Then, sweep with solar beam (possibly seeded for even more power), and if a fire move does come up and do damage, hopefully the light screen will have chopped off enough damage for a synthesis to fix it back up, or just switch him out. No team to "work with" just a main set for him.

The Sunny Day/Solarbeam combo doesn't work too well on most grass types IMO. You can end up helping out your opponent more than you help yourself. Even with a Light Screen up, Meganium would still take a large amount of damage from a Sunny Day-powered fire attack. Razor Leaf would work out better. :)

I suggest using the set Number1ChanseyFan provided.

If you like a small variation, Earthquake/Body Slam are options to go over Light Screen.

Depends on what you want.

If you're playing the gay toxic/spikes/stall team, go with this:
Toxic, Leech Seed, Rest, Hidden Power Fire

Sweeper:
Swords Dance, Body Slam, Quake, Leech Seed/Synthesis/Rest/Razor Leaf

Support:
Razor Leaf, Reflect/Light Screen, Leech Seed, Rest

i personally like body slam over LS, but that's because i'm more offensive minded. if you want to have a little d, then keep LS.

Also depends what kind of team you're using. If you're going for status-affecting moves, such as Poison and Paralysis, then Body Slam would probably be a better bet. Also, if you have LS somewhere else on your team, Body Slam would be a better choice.

How about maybe adding razor leaf and/or a normal attack too for the grass types...

Counter-Meggy works great for me, since Drill Peck on a lot of Flying Pokemon. I even Countered a Lugia

Well, the Sunny Day combo on a Grass depends on the rest of the team, IMO. If Sunny Day will benefit at least two others on your team then I'd go for it. Otherwise, I'd use:

<<Giga Drain, Ancient Power, Synthesis/Leech Seed, Body Slam>> @ Mystery Berry ;)

Takes care of all Grass weaknesses except Poison.
