How do you enable 'Quick Reply' ... I couldn't find that option anywhere. :(

See the button next to 'Quote' that says 'Reply'? Yeah, click that and it's enabled. :o

click that and it enables you to type in the quick reply box. It's located right next to the Quote button as mentioned above.

Hey Chris, maybe you should make a FAQ thingy for the new upgrade and make it as a sticky so people can refer to it.

That might be a good idea. But just make a FAQ for vB in general. We can add specific stuff as necessary.

My only question is why quick reply needs to be user-enabled... I've seen tons of forums where its enabled by default. Is there any reason this can't be done here?

It's just the way it was written... Personally I prefer the UBB-style box-at-the-bottom where you can enter anything and quote whenever you want (example (http://www.iphq.co.uk/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=000144)). But that's just what I'm used to...

Actually I've seen at least two VB forums which have the quick reply box enabled without needing to click on anything.

Damian, SPP has it like that. I prefer this method though as you can quote using Quick Reply instead of having to actually go to the reply screen to use quote.
