Well, once again, I have decided to post a poll. ^^;; It's just about the radio, radio stations, & stuff like that. It's not totally random like my last poll, lol. Actually, a friend of mine, Systematic Revolution gave me quite a few ideas for this Poll, so credit goes to him too!! ^_~ Please remember to put thought & effort into your replies, everyone.. don't put too much thought into your reply though, lol.

1) I listen to the radio practically every morning. My mom turns it on as soon as we wake up, lol. ^^ We listen to some rock and then we listen to different radio shows. However, I don't listen to the radio much after I get home from school. I turn on my radio when I'm in the car or when my CD Player is nowhere to be seen, lol.

2) I listen to a lot, but I never remember the names of the radio shows. XD Sometimes I listen to Howard Stern, well, when he isn't being extremely obscene. Despite what some people may think, he's an incredibly funny guy. ^^;; His show always makes me chuckle. I'm not sure if his show is aired on the radio in some places, however. He had a big problem because of his obscenity, and now he's off the air in some cities. ;x

3) Well, the last time I requested a song on the radio was a very long time ago, probably more than 2 years ago. I requested a hip hop or rap song, most likely. Back then, all I listened to was junk music, unfortunately. ^^;; It's a good thing that I regained my taste in music, lol.

4) I live in the Bay Area of California.. my favorite radio stations here are 105.3 & 104.9, which are rock stations. They play really good music, only REAL rock! They don't play any cheesey pop rock on these stations. ^-^ Sometimes I have to stop listening to them, since they start playing very bad 80's music as a joke for an hour. XD

5) I don't know anyone who works at a radio station. I think I knew a guy who worked at a rap station, his name is Chewey. XD I don't think I'd work at a radio station, but it sounds like a fun job. I get a little nervous whenever I have to talk in front of/for a lot of people, so it wouldn't be the job for me.

6) I prefer to listen to my CD's. The radio tends to play music I don't like, since I enjoy older rock songs more than the new ones. Besides, my CD's have all of my favorite songs. It's easier to become bored of the radio than it is when you're listening to your own CD's. That's just me, anyway. ^_^;;

I don't listen to the national ones like Howard Stern, but I usually listen to the Morning Show (lol, what an original name) that plays on Hot 97.1. It consists of gossip, general talk, and rap and r&b songs. It's alright, but I enjoy the morning show that used to be on before this one - but they got fired. :x

I also listen to Wendy Williams on 107.5. You might have heard of her, because sometimes she has a special on VH1 or an article in a magazine. She's basically just a big gossip, but she can be funny sometimes... she airs in the afternoon.

No. To be a dj you have to be a social, outgoing, and basically cheerful person, and I couldn't do that 24/7.

It depends. When one of my friends burn me a cd with all the recent songs on it, I don't need the radio because I have all the songs of the moment available anytime. When I don't have a new cd, or just want to hear the new stuff (usually during the summer), I listen to the radio.

1. No, I don't listen to the radio much at all, most stations either play things I don't like or things that I do like but have heard about three billion times before, there's not really a huge variety for the dedicated lover of alt rock around here. =/ They have the radio on where I work, but I have me CD player on anyways so don't hear it, so the only time I do listen is when someone other than Soo is driving me somewhere or when we're trying to find the travel news. Long enough rant for ya? ;)

2. No, I don't. The filler bits in Mark & Lard's show on Radio 1 are quite funny in small doses, but given my answer to question 1...

3. Never requested anything, you think they'd have anything I wanted on their playlist anyways? ;.;

4. XFM is quite good if I ever get a chance to listen to it - trouble is I can only get it via the Sky radio options. It has - or had, haven't tuned in for ages now, might have gone all mainstream on us in the meantime - a much better selection of rock than most other stations I've tried.

5. Don't know anyone who works at one, it's be quite an interesting experience to do a work experience placement at one or something, but I'm not sure I'd really want to work on a radio station as a career.

6. CDs, definitely, that way I get to hear the music I want to hear when I want to hear it, without annoying interruptions. And there's a much greater chance of hearing bands like Katatonia (the K is intentional, they're quite different from the Welsh indie people who are more famous) when I'm in control of the music. :P

Well, I mainly listen to the local radio station, CoolFM and I also listen to Radio1 also - though if you live outside the UK and Ireland you probably won't have heard of them. I like Pop/R&B best :)

Yep, he's in my art class but it's only a seasonal thing and it's only a radio station for our local area, I think. I'd love to work on radio as a DJ but I'm unsure as to whether my voice would make a good one and whether the pay would be good :p

1.) I don't listen to radio shows. I only listen to radio when I'm at work and they don't have any shows there.

2.) No, I haven't, they would never play the songs I'd request anyway. On the radio they always play the same few songs, never anything of the extraordinary stuff or music that wasn't that popular.

3.) Ö3, it's what I listen to during work. There are better ones as far as music is concerned but Ö3 has better commentaries.

4.) No, I don't know anyone working for the radio nor would I want to work there myself, just doesn't interest me at all.

5.) I prefer CDs, better musical choice, hehe.
