For a limited period only, Nintendo fans will be able to log onto the Stars Catalogue at www.nintendo.co.uk and purchase Pokémon Box and a Memory Card 59 for 4000 Stars. This exclusive special offer will be available across Europe from 14th May 2004.

Awesome! Too bad I don't live in the UK. Damn, I really want Box! What is the equivalent of 4000 stars? (american currency)

Well, stars are kinda like special "credits" on the Nintendo UK website, they are not actually currency. There are a couple of ways that you can get stars from Nintendo UK, like registering for their clubs, buying/registering Nintendo products, visiting their website, and doing certain activities and filling out surveys. The Nintendo UK website has more info on stars.
