Help with colossum for my mate!

This is on behalf of my mate who doesnt have the internet.

he recently bought colosseum and was thinking of buying a cheap pokemon ruby from usa, his colosseum is PAL so will he still be able to trade pokemon between them?

I would assume so. I know that it wont work with the japanese carts, but I don't see why the UK/Aus colosseum wouldn't work with the US versions of R/S.

Yes, they will work together fine. How do I this know for sure? Well, I have Pokemon Sapphire (USA Version) and Pokemon Colosseum (UK Version). I live in the UK and got my Pokemon Sapphire from the USA when it was first released. When I tried using them together, they worked fine with no problems. So you can tell your friend they has nothing to worry about.
