The Games Floor

To play the games, you need a MGcoin. Each game costs one credit worth of MGcoins; Red MGcoins are worth one credit, Blue MGcoins are worth two, and Green MGcoins are worth three. You get proper change back for using Blue or Green MGcoins. MGcoins can be obtained through Mystery Gifts or playing these games. Also, you can buy a Red MGcoin for one Stamp/CCP, but ONLY if you have none.


The Grabber Game

Remember those irritating claw robots at fairgrounds? In this version you pilot one over a 6X6 grid. You give directions starting from bottom center. Pick a square by going over one to five squares and up one to five squares. The better prizes are farther away, but you have a higher chance of dropping them.

Each day, you may use the Grabber Game and Scratchcards up to 10 times COMBINED. You may split the uses however you want.


Guess THIS!

An employee will think of a Pokemon, and give you a clue that should be unique to that Pokemon. You then have one try to guess the Pokemon. If you win, you get your choice of common/uncommon Mystery Gift prizes. If you guess wrongly, you get your Red MGcoin back as a consolation prize.

You may only ask for one Guess This per day


Scratchcard

Just like the lotto, you can come here and scratch off for a prize. Pick a card from the lists below, and scratch off three numbers (from one to ten). There will be three randomly decided winning squares, and an employee will tell you what your scratchcards revealed, and whether you won anything.

Mystery Pokemon

In this game, you are given a list of 14 different Pokemon. Your goal is to figure out which one is the "Mystery Pokemon" that is randomly chosen from the list at the beginning of the game. To narrow the possibilities, you may ask up to four questions (one at a time) that can be answered by an employee with a "yes" or a "no". In addition to these questions, you get one attempt to guess the correct Pokemon. After this guess, regardless of how many questions you asked, you will receive your prize

Correct answer after 2 or fewer questions: Any Mystery Gift item except for 20 stamps/CCPs.
Correct answer after 3 questions: 5 stamps/CCPs or any rare, uncommon, or common Mystery Gift item except 10 stamps/CCPs.
Correct answer after 4 questions: Any common or uncommon Mystery Gift item.
Incorrect answer: Red MGcoin.

Parents: Well, I look/act like my dad in eye color, hair type and temper. For my mom, height, neatness and a sense of paranoia

Best Feature: Physically it's my eyes (nice blue/gray and they change hues sometimes); personality-wise, it's my offbeat sense of humor, which no one really gets :\

Worst Traits: I can get really emotional very quickly and sometimes it's not in the best of situations. Also, I'm a sucker for praise and try to get as much of it as possible, which sometimes leads to me breaking down if I don't get it (I swear, it happened to me before. I wanted to show my class my project because I was really proud of it but I wasn't called up to show it so in my next class, I started to hyperventilate and cry)

Well I have black hair, like my dad, but my face is more similar to my mum's. Everyone I meet says I really look like her. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour - which either doesn't come across online or comes across as sarcasm - and physically...well I guess my hair is okay when it has gel through it ^^; My least appealing trait...well I'm a very picky person, which sometimes works to my benefit but not always e.g. when I'm looking for a job. I'm also a perfectionist which pressurises me sometimes ^^;

Parents: I look like my mom more then my dad (ignoring the whole she's a female, and I'm a male) because I have her brown eyes and hair. Also our facial features are closer together. I act more like my dad though, as I'm more willing to do things he would do then my mom would do. Also he and I have the same interests so we act similar when we see the same thing.

Best Feature: My best feature is probably that I'm kind to others. For starters I'm a Boy Scout and that has definately made me help out people more so then I would've. Usually I'll help out people with the small and large things in life, homework, picking up dropped items, and listening to name a few.

Worst Fewture: I annoy people alot. I don't want to but I do. You see, I get annoyed by things like bad grammar, so when people talk, if they use bad grammar, I'll correct it. Also I'll pursue people on the smallest details to get them to admit their wrong or that they agree with me. Or I'll just do teh same thing to them which they do to me, such as if they poke me, I poke them. This has gotten me slapped in the face before.

I guess I'm more like my dad in terms of looks (we're both tall, for one), but I don't know where I ever got my hair color from. Nobody in the family as far back as any of us can remember had the same reddish-brown hair I do. I'd also have to say I act like him (at least share more of the same interests with him than my mom) though I can't always say I act like either of them, if you know what I mean.

My best feature, I'd have to say it's the fact that I seem to get along with pretty much anyone. Either that or my sense of humor. Contrary to what some of you may think, I try not to be an asshole towards people, and it takes a lot to get me mad. I'm actually a lot nicer to people in real life than I can seem to be here sometimes.

My worst traits would have to be the way I look, I guess. Yeah, if you haven't noticed by now, I'm not overly fond of my own looks. I'm not as critical of myself as some people I know, though.

my best + worst feature, is when I'm completly absorbed by something (ex. Spinda) I get on ppls nerves when I talk about it too much. But thats me. But I learn about it, then share my knowledge :) Call it obsessive, I call it knowing-the-subject-real-well.

I probably most look like my mum with the face and stuff but it also looks like all my brothers and sisters do too. I like acting more like my dad because some of the things he says are funny and he acts funny too when he says them. I don't have a best physical feature if you asked myself or anyone else because I'm just one of those strange people. My best personality feature is I can be and like being very helpful and not insult people seeking advice on something like Pokemon Battling. My worst trait is probably the way I hate being around too many people in real life. They just freak me out when there's too many people around me and it seems like they're all always staring at me for no reason.

No, I haven't, though a lot of my friends have. I'd probably do one involving Pokémon, or animal/art related if I did ever create a board.
The type of board....I'm not sure, but it'd be one of the free, very simple and very basic ones xD Something like Proboards.

I act more like my dad, because I can get really annoyed very easily, but looks wise, I take after my mum.
My best feature, um, personality wise, I'd say the fact that I'm quiet and a good listener, so people don't mind talking to me. Physically, my best feature is my eyes, or so I'm told o_O
Least appealing trait is I'm too quiet at times, and I sort of fade away into the background, and don't talk to anyone.

My dad. My brother looks like my mom. I'm skinny, have a longer face, and inherited his horrible eyesight (I'm nearly blind without visual aids and can't see something clearly if it's more or less than exactly 3 inches from my face). I'm also stubborn and like to argue a lot. Probably not very attractive, but then again I don't give up, either. Which can be very good or very bad.

I'd have to say I look most like mom. People always ask if we're sisters x.x I say i act like a mix between them. I'd probably say my eyes. Most of the time they're a grayish blue. sometimes though, they look green. Personality wise, I like to think that i'm a good listener. I'm like mom in that it takes me a while to get upset. However i'm like my dad in the fact that i have a temper so that whenever I get upset, its best to leave me a lone till i calme down. I have to say that my temper is my least desirable trait, which thankfully, rarely rears its ugly head.

Well, if you count owning a message board for around a week and then since no joined destroying it, yes I did. It was basically supposed to be a character shrine for misc. RPG characters. I made it since the admins on one board I was on were getting fed up with all the new shirnes being made so I made it. And then the shirne makers made their own board.

I don't think that that counts to much so if I were to make a new board it would be for RPG's only and all RPG's, since RPG's are the best type of games in my opinion. It would probably a free one like ezboard or proboards or something like that.

Nope, never owned one although if I did, I would make one about comedy, with different forums about different types of comedy (one forum would be Talk Shows, another would be Sitcoms, Stand Up, etc.). I would also choose UBB, although it would be expensive after a while. If not that then Proboard

If I remember correctly you only got two worker applications last time (Pyrusette and another one unnamed), who couldn't have got the spot since he didn't have AIM. So if you got two applications from complete newbies, well, I bid you good luck. You really didn't specify much for the application. (I'm extremely picky when it comes to apps)

I'll be honest, my diet isn't the best. Usually for breakfest I'll have one or two bowls of cereal. For lunch it depends. During the school year it's whatever the cafeteria's serving (i.e. hamburgers, pasta, sandwiches, etc...), during the summer though it's usually one of those pasta side packages. So I'll have different toppings on noodles, tastes better then you'd think. As for dinner, there's at least one kind of meat, either its stea, burgers, deli meat, etc... along with misc. sides like rice, corn, and potatoes. I also snack throughout the day on whatever's around, often times licorice since my mom loves the stuff.

I'm probably addicted per se to fruit in general. It tastes real good, like an apple or orange, plus fruit drinks are great. So fruit doesn't last long in my household, plus my dog eats whatever I don't want to eat, except for the skins of bananas, oranges, and the like.

I hate, with a passion I add, vegetables in general, minus corn and potatoes though. I don't know why, I have just never liked most vegetagles, they just taste bad to me. It probabaly didn't help that my 19 months older brother also hated vegetables, so I probably copied him some.

My breakfast is mostly nothing or rarely I have a cereal or yogert because I either have to hurry to catch the school bus or wake up too late. My lunch at school I stick to the healthiest choice of no chips or at home I have what I'm given but it's low fat. My dinner would be the same as having lunch at home just something that's good and low in fat. I'm generally a healthy eater now and always will be because I want to lose weight and stay healthy in my life. The food I'm probably addicted to is chocolate so I try and only have one bar or less a day to try and ration it. I like apples as the natural fruit they are but when they're mashed and added to anything else I hate them.

My diet is... not healthy, to say the least. For breakfast, during the school year I'll usually have either a chocolate or bananna nut muffin and a glass of milk because I'm in a hurry, but during the summer and on the weekends I have enough time to make myself pancakes or french toast if I feel like it (and, of course, I usually do). For lunch, at school me and a few of my friends leave during lunch and go to the Carls' Jr. that's a few blocks away pretty much all the time. That's one good thing about having a car and going to high school, that I can do that now. However, when I'm home, I usually have either a hot dog or some chicken. We always seem to have those in the freezer. And for dinner, it's pretty much whatever I want/can find to have on any particular day. Sometimes my dad barbecues, sometimes we order pizza or Chinese food, and sometimes my mom cooks, but other than that it's whatever can be found in the freezer. Of course, since it's summer now, I've been eating out with my grandparents a lot (like every day, lol). Hooray for rich, old people.

Well I used to buy Magic cards on ebay (yeah, shoot me, I know) but that's about the extent of me buying secondhand stuff. Since most of the stuff I end up buying now with the exception of clothing ends up being electronics, and I don't trust used electronics at all. My mom buys antique furniture all the time, though. Oh, and I bought a used 1968 Volkswagen Bug, if that counts, lol.

As for selling, only if you count the useless stuff that I'll never use again that gets sold at garage sales. If I had to pick three things to sell, I'd probably pick my lava lamp, the disco ball hanging from the ceiling, and the Billy Bass on my wall. I picked them because I just took a quick look around my room and found the first three things that I never use.

I don't eat much for breakfast, and it usually depends on how lazy I am or what my mom's cooking... At worst I'll just have an energy drink. My heaviest kind of breakfast would probably be eggs and baked beans. Lunch is a lot heavier, and dinner is my favorite time of the day. Yum, food. :D My mom's a great cook. I'd say I eat pretty healthy stuff, though I do snack a lot on stuff I really shouldn't be eating. :what: Anyway, I'm addicted to... pasta and tofu and rice. Yeah. Could not live without them. ^_^; Oh, and I don't really like seafood, except for shrimp. Has something to do with a scarring experience with tentacles when I was a little child. It was bad.

I haven't bought or sold anything second-hand that I can think of. I prefer to buy stuff brand new so I know it works and if it doesn't I can soon get my money back hopefully. If I had to get rid of three old personal posessions they would have to be my PSX, one of my stupid PSX games, and Sonic Heroes. I never use my PSX now that I have a PS2 so I might as well sell it to someone that would be happy with it. Some PSX games I have I really hate so I would have to get rid of one of them that I've never played since I've hated it. Sonic Heroes because it just totally sucks for me, it's still brand new because I haven't played it much and I'm only liking Role Playing Games from now on because of it.

My diet pretty much sucks. I usually skip breakfast since I either never have time for it or I don't feel like eating. When I do have it though, I usually have mini-waffles or toast. I'm always hungry afterwards though so it doesn't make a difference. For lunch, I usually have a sandwich with soda or chips. In school though, I had pizza a lot with fries and chocolate milk. For dinner, I have chicken a lot for some reason but there's always steak, spaghetti or fast food. I'm not really addicted to a specific food but I do like burgers. And for the food I hate, I despise raisins and apricots

Ususally it consists of lunch and dinner. I hardly ever get eat breakfast and the few times that i do, i don't eat much. With my hernia, there are still times that i can rarely eat. I'd like to say that I'm in the middle. There are times (rarely) when i can barely eat still (like only one meal a day) and there are other times i can eat normally. I really like milk to drink and pizza to eat. I cant stand anything with lettuce or cabbage.

Actually most of my video games are second-hand. I just buy them when someone is done with them from Gamespot with my 10% discount. The way I see it is that if get the same game, for a cheaper price a few months later then everyone else, I don't really care. I still get the same enjoyment out of it as everyone who buys it earlier, but I get more money to buy more games.

As for stuff I sold, I did once sell a borken Gamboy Color. Well... it wasn't broken so much as it didn't respond all the time. In order for the A button to work you needed to hit it with more several times with force nearly equal to a jackhammer. So I sold it to Electronics Boutique for store credit without mentioning this to them. No questions have been asked so far.

If I had to choose three things to sell they would be my old Gameboy, my hamster cage, and my Kung-Fu fighting hamster. I chose these because while I still do like them I have no real use for them anymore. The Gameboy, while nearly indestructible, is kind of useless since the newer Gameboys can do everything it does and more, for less. The hamster cage is now vacant as my hamster died around a week ago so I don't even know if I want to look at it that much. Plus I can't have a pet for the next 10+ years anyway because I'm going to a boarding school for high school and college. The Kung-Fu fighting hamster is cool, but it barely works, probably because I need to change the battery but I'm lazy, and it does look a little tacky.

For breakfast, I usually have cereal, and then a Pepsi or Coke of some sort, to help wake me up (I'm horrible with mornings). For lunch I usually make a ham sandwich. As for dinner, I usually have a type of meat (usually steak or chicken, and sometimes salmon) I think I'm a healthy eater. I like to eat salad, and seafood. The occasional chinese is good too. I'm definetely addicted to Jelly Belly Beans. I hate asparigus with a passion. I think it's disgusting.... I don't like cabbage either.

-Mike (VirtualPlay): I believe the first TPMer I became friends with; met in 2001 in ASB and we had similiar interests so it went from there
-Gabi and Amy: I think both in 2002 and it was through ASB and Dragon Tamers; nice to talk to and both are very helpful

I think it's the TV. Before TV, news was done by radio and without sight, that and entertainment was pretty much emotionless. With the TV, news is broadcasted immediately and it gives people the view on controversial topics (Vietnam War was a good example of inside war life). Also, the entertainment skyrocketed and it produced a lot of couch potatoes (not saying it's great but TV is that good)

Amy (Nala98/Wolfsong) - Probably the best friend I have from TPM. I got to know her when we were in ASB about a year ago; I reffed a battle for her and we just started talking on AIM after that. Now we talk pretty much every day; she's really nice and we share some of the same interests.

Kris (Angel Blossom) - Well, we've sure had our ups and downs. She's also one of the nicest people I've ever known, though she can be a little sensitive at times. I don't really remember how we first got to know eachother at all. I'd feel comfortable telling her just about anything, though.

I think that electricity is the most important thing humans have invented. Pretty much everything we do today uses it - watching TV, posting a reply to this poll, turning on a light, or even driving to work/school. Well, technically I've been on TPM since May of last year. In reality I've been on for around a week. I lost interest in Pokemon for a while and the interest came back recently so I'm here. So I don't really know anyone that much. So you could say that I have no friends on TPM, hopefullly that'll change though.

I would have to say that fire is the best invention. I'm not sure if it counts excatly but it's what I think. Without fire the world today (or even the world of 2000 years ago) would not exist as it does/was. Fire allowed us to mold the world to our liking. Without it food could not be cooked, bricks could not be made, metal could not be shaped (well that is), man could not have lived for more then a few centuries without it (well... maybe more, but you get the point). What I'm saying is that nothing today could have existed without fire.

I have a few best friends at TPM that are mostly in AC/CC because this is where I hang out now unless I feel the need to help someone on some other Pokemon game. The first friend I made here must have been Gabi (Lady Vulpix) because she was the first person I spoke to after adopting my first Pokemon. I soon became friends with Kris (Angel Blossom), Kyle (Syberia), and Matt (Matt) just by talking to them here and being really friendly. When Eric (Gothic Animé) joined in at AC/CC I spoke to him and we soon became friends. I soon spoke with Amy (Wolfsong) because I had an idea for AC/CC and we soon became good friends because she's a really nice person to others. Danny (Aipom of Doom) became friends with me when I became a Worker at Buena's Radio Show and I think he's a good guy. I'm also friends with Eamon (Silver Ledian) because we just started talking one day and became friends. You could say most of AC/CC are my best friends and that's probably true because I'm not mean to others and I'm happy to have more friends. I would class them all as best friends because they're always here at AC/CC and are happy to talk with me if I suggested something or just want to talk with them.

I think the best invention for me and many other people would have to be electricity. It basically gives power to my computer, TV, game consoles, and many other things around the house. So without electricity I wouldn't live because I need to play my games more than anything or go on the computer to talk to other people. We need lights at night to see around the house and if we go out to see the street we're walking down. Without electricity we would be working off some low powered source like doing things manually or using bare flames for lighting.

I have a lot of friends that i talk too. (I'm half asleep as i type this) i'll just say the ones that i talk to on a regular basis. Gabi, its been a long while, I'm not exactly sure how we first started talking, but i'm thinking it had something to do with the AC/CC. I do remember pmming her once with a question. We have a lot of the same interests, and we seem to think along the same lines sometimes. Then there's Steve (Dark Dragonite). We met sometime when the bt was opened, and we just started talkign one day. Gradually, we became closer, and i even talked to him on the phone, but i guess we drifted apart. At least we're still friends. Becca I think it was either asb or here in pcg where we first met. I'm not good at rememberng how long, i've known people x.x. But, I do know this, she's easy to talk to and one of the people that i enjoy talking with. Kyle (Syberia) Like he said, we just started talking one day, and now we talkl just about every day. Karin, I also talk with whenever i see her. I think we met in asb, and now that shes active in pcg and all. I don't think I've bought any second-hand goods before o_O I like to get things new ^_^ I have sold some, though - like at a yard sale or something, lol. Just today we had a yard sell and I sold some video tape lol. I had the DVD so I don't care.

Hm.. I have a few best friends at TPM :sweat2: First, there's Tyler (Avian Freeze). We've known each other for a year or so, lol. He hasn't been on lately though :( I guess it's because he's watching Naruto, lol.

Then there's Anita ^_^ she just rox ma sox ^_~ we met in the ac/cc like last year i think :x I messagead her because I was reffing her battle and then we started to be friends ^_^ now we talk almost everyday ;) She's really fun to talk to and she has a lot of the same interests as me!!

Then there's poptartsrox :x she hasn't come here for a while because people ran her off, but she's really cool! We met like 3 years ago or something o_O I don't even remember how, lol. My closest friends from TPM are Rio (Pichu Luver) and David ( Mastermysterious). They're both pretty much lurkers these days but I talk to both of them all the time, when they're on MSN.

I met Rio in my second month at the boards, in May 2001. It was actually at the TPM Dating Agency game but it got relatively inactive so I just asked her if she wanted to be my TPM G/F and she said yeah. Since then we've dropped the B/F/G/F thing and now we're just best friends. We've sent each other letters and presents in the mail and it's just been great having such a great online friend.

I actually met David when he worked at the Goldenrod Tower back in 2001, when there was no AC/CC sub-forum. I posted every now and again at the Tower but nothing major...and this was all before the polls were introduced to the Tower, so I felt guilty because it seemed like I was spamming with '1MG please'. We talk on MSN all the time too and the three of use have built up a great friendship together. Pity that they both live in Canada and I'm all the way over the Atlantic :/

I have been to hospital long ago when a brick was thrown into my head by accident and it started bleeding badly. I didn't like waiting in the waiting room for 2 hours because I had a really bad headache and my head was still bleeding. At the end of waiting the doctor just sprayed my head and it got better like magic, no need for anything else to be done. Still waiting ages just for a bit of sprayed to be put on it seems stupid to me.

I've been to the hospital a couple of times that i can remember, but i've never stayed overnight. The first time was when i had broken my arm, the doctor sent me to Memphis to the hospital to get a cast put on. It was such a clean break that they never even set it, they just put the cast on. The secodn time was last June, when i had to have some tests run on my stomach. It was shrtly before it was discovered that i had a hernia.

The only time I've really been in hospital for something is when I came down with the German Measles when I was only 6 months old. My parents rushed my to hospital because I began to turn blue. Since then, I haven't really been in hospital for things to do with myself because I've never had any kind of injury. I've visited various family members on many occasions though, like when my cousins were born or when my grandparents weren't feeling well. I don't like blood/sickness or anything so I definately hope I won't be in the hospital much when I'm older either ^^; Hopefully I'll stay healthy.

Yeah, I've been put in the hospital a couple of times. I had a seizure so I had to stay in there for a week or so. The stay was pretty rad because there were some nice video games to play and it was cool to have people waiting on me and all that stuff ;o the only thing I really didn't like about it was when they put the IVs and stuff in my arm :( *shrug* I liked it, but I don't think I would want to go back for a little while :x

Well I once went in the hospital because I had to have ear tubes put in my ear. I was a little hard on hearing so I went in, they knocked me uncouncious , put them in and that was that. They were in for around four months I think, fortunately they were impossible to see, before I got them out and now I can hear, not perfectly, but well enough to hear what I need to hear.

The last time I went to the hospital was in January right after I had been hit by a car. I rode there in an ambulance right after the guy hit me. Somehow I managed to not break any bones, and apparently it cut a nerve in my legs so I didn't actually feel much pain at all. On top of that, I got $5,000 from the guy's insurance settlement, so I guess I did alright from it. That's not to say I like hospital stays, though. What kind of silly question is that, have you ever wanted to be in a hospital? Of course not. It usually means there's something wrong with you or you got hurt somehow.

There are so many terrible diseases in the world today that it is difficult to choose just one. However, since one is the limit I shall choose one of the most lethal diseases out there today, Heart Disease. In 2000 it killed 945,836 people in just the USA alone, and who knows how many world wide. While 1 in 29 women's deaths are from Breast Cancer, 1 in 2.4 are from Cardiovascular Disease. This isn't just something that kills in one smooth blow were the victim feels nothing, no this is a slow killer which can kill in months, years, or even decades, with the people involved struggling daily to just make it to bed that night and waking up the next morning. This disease attacks the veins, arteries, heart, and brain to name parts of it and slowly shuts them down my clogging them, destroying them, and causes other horrible damage to them. I just wish that there was a way to permanently cure it, but there isn't.\

I'd say cancer. There are many diferent forms, and the affects not only the people that it strikes but also the family members as well. I'd like to spare people the loss of losing loved ones to cancer, or the worries that go along with it someone that you know and love is battling it.

I just thought that there's a lot to chose from that kill many people. I would most like to cure cancer because I can't remember exactly but I'm sure many people have it and this isn't fair on them. Some cancers kill and are uncurable but luckily some can be cured. So I would like the uncurable ones to become curable and this would make many more people's lives happier. I would saying curing this disease is better than any others because some forms of it are uncurable and are just killing too many people.

I'm going to say electricity because of it's obvious uses, and because without it, none of those other options would be able to work xD Um, and it's useful because without it, we'd probably freeze to death (electric fires..ok, so there are the traditional sort, but still), not see anything (lights), get bored out of our minds at times (no tv, computers, music) etc.

A number of times, though the worst two were;
-I think I was a couple of weeks old, I couldn't swallow anything and needed an emergency operation on my stomach, or I'd probably have died. Can't remember anything about it, but I've still got the scar.
-When I was about six/seven, I got a large lump on my neck, didin't know what it was, had to have it surgically removed. The stay wasn't that bad, one of the doctors there 'operated' on my favourite toy, to fix a hole in his neck, which was cute. Though I did have an awful night when I rolled over and the tube in my neck fell out >_< Disgusting.

I'm going to say malaria, because of the fact that it's major killer, yet the vecotrs (the female anopheles (sp?) mosquito) cannot be truely killed off, due to it only needs a minority to resist the current treatement. Then they'll breed, and you'll need to come up with a new one to try and stop them. And so on and so forth.
I'm not sure why making this one be cured is any better than curing any others (is there really a choice that is? o_O), but maybe because it mainly affects thrid world countries, which don't have the resources to fund the research themselves, and so must rely on the larger, more rich countries, as if they need any more reliance. Plus, I think the richer countries aren't that bothered with the research anyway because it doesn't effect them.
Quick note: Sorry if any of that is (obviously) wrong, it's coming from memory, and I don't want to check inacse I get panicky about what I wrote in my biology exam^_^

Personally, I think curing cancer would be the most important. A lot of people in my family have cancer, so it would be really cool if I could cure them of it. I think it's more important to cure this one because a lot of people have it in the world and it's really tough to get over. But I guess it doesn't win against AIDs when you're talking about how many people have it, lol.

I would most like to cure cancer. It's perhaps one of the most widely spread diseases in the world, as Amy said, which is ironic because I don't think that any forms of cancer are contagious, and yet so many people are unfortunate enough to suffer from one kind or another. It's definately a global problem and it'll be a medical breakthrough when a cure is found. It would be better if people chose not to smoke etc. because that would surely cause levels to fall but yep, it would be cancer.

if i could pick one disease, i would pick AIDS. i know many people would pick cancer, and i think that would be a great disease to cure, but still i would pick AIDS. though i don't know any exact statistics, AIDS is almost as much a widespead a disease as cancer. though it may seem easily prevented, it is many times the result of someone else's carelessness. if a hospital worker doesn't take the time to clean a needle and their patient gets AIDS, it's their fault, not the patients. and the patient could do nothing about it. it's the same with rape or some other form of sex.

I'd have to say AIDS too. It's one of the fastest spreading diseases now, and it's always guaranteed to be fatal. With cancer, if you catch it early enough, there's a pretty good chance you'll be able to cure it with the right kinds of treatments. It's just the worst disease I can think of at the moment.

I think my dream job is that I want to be a doctor ;o I don't really know why I want to, but it just came up in my head one day after I got out of the hospital and I've been set to it ever since. *shrug* Other than they get paid quite a bit, I think it would be a nice experience. TO BE RULER OF THE WORLD WITH EVERYONE AT MY FEET BEGGING FOR MERCY! Oh, you meant a realistic job, well in that case I would like to be a lawyer (which one could argue is similar to someone who oppresses, but that argument is for another day). To start out with my father is a lawyer and I've always looked up to him and have found his job fascinating. Plus I do like to help people, which to some seems odd coming from a potential lawyer but *shrug*. For example, I'm a Boy Scout and it's our duty to help out in and out of scout activities and this has greatly influenced my life. I believe as a lawyer that I could greatly help people that need it. My dream job in real life would be to do something in the video games designing department, mostly Role Playing Games. Something like adding in my ideas for the storyline or doing the voice acting of one of the main characters or a few smaller part characters. This is my dream job because I've played a lot of Role Playing Games and I would really like to be involved with one in some way. Putting in ideas for the storyline would be good because your ideas might be used in some way on the video game when they release it. Doing the voice acting would be good because your voice will be in the video game and many people will hear it thinking you do well with a certain character. I don't know if I'll ever get my dream job but I always want to try because I really want to do it when I've finished school.

I want to be a computer animator. I'm actually very good at it; earned me an A in my last interim class. I don't have good drawing skills, so this is a definite plus for me. It's a tedious job, but it draws you in as you add texture and lightning. It also requires certain mathematical skills to determine the character's movement. My college only two semester classes and one interim class on computer animation, so my learning's very limited. I'm putting together a portfolio of my "work" so I'll give Square Enix USA something to look at. ^^

My dream job is to be a zoologist/animal psychologist because I love animals and am really enjoying studying psychology, so something the combines the two would be excellent:) Mainly what's so good about it, is that it's something that I know I'd enjoy doing^_^ I hope I will eventually get to do it, though admittably specalist jobs like it are rare, but seeing as I'll be doing either biology/psychology/zoology/animal behaviour at university, that should help me^_^

My brothers party in April, where we went to Alton Towers... doesn't sound very 'partyish' and it wasn't, but still. Basically, he had a couple of friends with him, so he went off with them, and so I ended up traipsing round with my parents ~_^ Lots of fun.
The best party I've ever been to was, um, I'm not too sure, because neither me or my mates have 'party' parties, we normally go out somewhere. Though one that has always stuck in my mind was (I think) my sixth/seventh, when a whole crowd of us piled onto this large swing at the place the party was at and managed to totally destroy it xD
I'd say that a good party is one with your friends, because even having only one there can make you more relaxed and enjoy yourself more:)

The last party I went to was a friend of the family's high school graduation party. Basically there was a whole lot of food on two tables for people to eat, with drinks nearby. Then you had a choice, you could either stand or sit around and talk to people, or you could go downstairs and play darts, air hockey and ping-pong, or watch TV. I went and played darts with the brother of the person who graduated, who also happens to be a fellow Boy Scout.

As for the best party I've ever been to, that would have to be a social held by my school. Well, my soon to be school, which they had all the kids who were going to the school in the fall come and learn about it, while meeting some of their future classmates. It was just fun to hang out with people, and I must say that I liked how no one knew each other. That way you could form all sorts of impressions on people for the first time. Beyond the people though the stuff they had (except the food) was not in the best shape. The pin-ball machine was barely working, the foozball table had lost the ball so a ping-pong was used instead, the pool tables were cramed in there with almost no room, and the ping-pong table was not in very good condition. However, all in all I greatly enjoyed myself.

Okay, it's July. Let's see. My brother's birthday is on the 14th so we'll probably have a small party for him. I made a very long response about giving people money before... I'll skip that part for all our sakes. Anyway, I'd be donating to good charities... If I were rich I think I would still be online chatting to my friends but maybe playing some better PS2 or GBA games too. The only thing that be different is I might have more PS2 and GBA games because being rich would allow me to buy as many as I wanted. Gee, I never had a lot of money before. I guess we'd be living someplace nice and not in a townhouse. I don't think I'd always be doing what I want to do because the media people would be constantly bothering us and we'd have servants and butlers and I'd get little to no privacy around the place. It will also affect the way I'll be brought up, which will then affect my personality. I probably won't be as shy and quite anymore. So even though money won't directly effect who I am, it will indirectly, even if I don't want it to.

Why yes I do have plans. First and foremost is my trip with the Boy Scouts to Colorado for a week. Not only are we coming from Peoria, Illinois, we will be driving from Peoria, Illinois. So we'll have around 16 hours of driving total, FUN! While that part will be boring beyond belief the rest of it should be fun. We'll ride horses, go white-water rafting, and hike up mountains so all in all it should be great. Also four days after I come back from Colorado I'll fly out to Washington, D.C. with my family and visit the sites. Which should be fun and will remind me of when I was younger and when my family lived in Connecticut and how we'd drive to Washington, D.C. on vacation once or twice a summer. We're just going to be doing the normal tourist stuff, the Capitol building, the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian, the Air and Space Museum, etc... So it should be fun, and that'll be a large portion of July and the rest should hopefully be R&R as summer's should be.

I use Mozilla Firefox because Matt recommended it to me after Internet Explorer kept giving me errors and shutting down or lots of pop-ups that always came back even after deleting them. So I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and I've stuck with it since because it works really well for me. In the past I used Internet Explorer but like I said, it had too many errors and just got me really mad one day. If I were to get a new Internet Browser it would have to be perfect for me. It would have to have the latest upto date security system, spyware blocker, adware blocker, hacker blocker.

I'm currently reading Dean Koontz's By the Light of the Moon.

I would say I hardly ever read even if you did include TPM I still don't read very much. For books I would have to say role playing game guide books because I don't use them for the actual game I just like to read what they say. For magazines I would have to say video game magazines because it's just funny when they write crappy reviews of good video games. I haven't bought a book in years and I think I buy a magazine once a year if that. The last book I read was probably Romeo & Juliet because we had to do in for English and Drama at school. The last magazine I read I don't remember because I haven't read one in about two years. I sometimes read things online because then you don't have to go out and buy them wasting money that you might want to keep. I sometimes read articles online if it's something I'm interested in and not many things interest me anymore.

excluding tpm, i read a lot. i like mostly science fiction of fantasy books, and as far as magazines go, it's gaming magazines or tennis magazines, mostly nintendo power. i buy books a lot, and i have a subscription to nintendo power and gamepro. the last book i read was harry potter and the order of the phoenix for the third time. ^^; the last magazine was the latest issue of nintendo power. the only online reading i do is at tpm. i don't read articles at all, really.

i currently use internet explorer. i use this one because it's fast, and can recognize transparencies. i used to use netscape all the time. it was not as fast, and wouldn't connect to certain sites. and as far as i know, nothing became transparent. on a new internet browser, the only thing i could ask for that i don't have on this one is no popups. o.O i hate popups.

if i were very rich, i would probably be travelling and living in a country that i wanted to, like england or spain. this would definitely be different than what i normally do, because i never have been out of the u.s., not even to canada. i would be doing different things because i would have the money to do so. i don't think money would change my personality at all, and i wouldn't act different around others, because i wouldn't want friends for my money.

If I were a rich man, Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum. All day long I'd biddy biddy bum. If I were a wealthy man. Hm? You were saying, sorry about that. If I were a rich person, however, I'd probably be traveling the world seeing all sorts of places. Unfortunately I'd probably also have a very protected life and be very lonely as my parents would likely want me to be a proper child and do proper things. Money can easily change the personality of a person. It can make a person snotty, or kind, or mean, etc... simply because they have more or less then most people. And yes I do believe that it could change my personality and how I act, HOWEVER, it all depends on the timing. I do believe that if I were to suddenly become rich now, I would for the most part be the person I am today. But if I had the money since I was an infant I think that unless my parents made sure that I helped others out, I would be very different, and not in the good sense. So I actually hope that I do not get to much money as I don't want my children someday to be snotty to others.

I currently use K-Meleon, which is, I quote "K-Meleon is a Windows-based web browser based on Gecko, the Mozilla rendering engine." I never used Mozilla before so I assume that they're basically the same. There are several advantages of this one. For instance the favorites list is automatically alphabetized so searching for things is easier. Plus you can open other windows as layers so that you can keep them better organized. I know that sounds confusing but I don't know how else to explain it. I used to use Internet Explorer, but K-Meleon was just more graceful in my opinion and easier to use. In a new Internet Browser I would want what K-Meleon has, and the ability to have toolbars like Internet Explorer, and nothing else I can think of at the moment but I'm sure that there's other handy things which other browsers have that are nice.

I love to read. It's one of my passions, in fact right now I'm reading 1633 (I forget the author). I usually read Science Fiction, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, with some a helping of nonfiction here and there. It all depends on what I'm in the mood for and what's available. As for buying books, I don't have to buy books that often as my dad has thousands of books in the basement and I can just go down there and take one. However, I do usually buy a book for myself once every two or three weeks for something new. I don't remember the last book I read, but look above for the one I'm reading now. Online has no quality control, so it depends. Some of the stuff online is just plain awful and impossible to read so I ignore it, but some of it is actually good.

When I'm bored I mostly find a PS2 or GBA game to go and play on for a few hours or sometime. On Role Playing Games you can do some more levelling up if you're bored because that'll help you in the long run. If I get bored playing PS2 or GBA games I move back onto the Internet and see if there's anything I can update on my website or chat to my friends. Sometimes I run out of things to do when I'm bore I just end up being sat at my computer on the Internet doing nothing unless there's someone to talk to. I think I'm limited to choices when I'm bored because my mind just can't think of anything else to do. I mean there's no one that could play video games all day and not get bored unless they're so obsessed with the video game they can never turn it off.

I use Mozilla Firefox right now :) Well, there are a lot of features I like on it. Mainly the tabs and popup blocker and it's really neat to use. I have used Internet Explorer for the longest time. But I finally saw the light and started to use Mozilla Firefox lol. IE was just plain ****. It crashed all the time, I got tons and tons of popups and it was real slow because of the spyware I got from it. So to sum it all up...it was bad. Hm... I don't really know :( Firefox has a lot of the things I like already!!

I read whenever I can, but that isn't that often. I like to read manga and stuff like that :) Mostly Shonen Jump if I have one lying around that I haven't read and manga books that I have bought. I don't usually buy magazines because they come in the mail but I buy manga whenever I have money and I see one that I like. Hmm... I think it was the Hellsing manga v2 or the Naruto manga v20something. I read naruto manga online ;) well yeah I read like 6 volumes a few weeks ago lol.

Whenever I'm bored I usually play a video game or watch some anime, but mostly just anime. I found TPM when I was a member of PFU Forums. (PokémonFanUniverse) Many people talked about it there, so I decided to see what it was like. I joined because I just felt like joining and to see what it was like. At the time, I thought you had to join to browse the forums. Now I am here because these are, in my opinion, the best forums on the internet. And I also have many friends here. When I first joined, I didn't really know where anything was or what it was like, so I can't exactly say I was enjoying myself. But now I'd definitely say I am. :D

Umm.. me and a friend were looking up cheats for some pokemon game and we came to the pokemon.com site a long time ago o_O I don't even remember why I signed up for TPM, but I think it was because the group of friends I was in all signed up lol. The name I had a long time ago was deleted though :( Yes, very different. Before you could just open a club and not have to get it approved and stuff like that. I was searching Google for some Pokemon GSC stuff because I had first got the Internet and found this great site while searching for Pokemon GSC. I kept it in my Favourites because I might need to look at it again so later on I joined the Forums because they looked like a nice place to come to. I wanted to join the Forums because I knew I could help people that got stuck on Pokemon GSC and now Pokemon RuSa. When I first joined I didn't know anyone I didn't use AC/CC at first but now I know a lot of people and I always in the AC/CC Subforum. I've always enjoyed TPM since I first joined because I've always been trying to help people that need help in a certain area of Pokemon.

I don't go on vacation very often but I use to go vacation like once a year before. The last time I went on vacation would have to be about two years ago when I was tricked into going. My mum said we were just going on a train ride and then we arrived at the airport meeting the rest of my family. It was to one of those nice small Greek Islands but I can't remember the exact name of it. I never have fun when I go on vacation because I just hate the hot weather and stuff but the most fun thing was playing my GBA at the hotel. Since I don't go on vacation much, I really would like to go to somewhere in America just to meet some of my online American friends.

(7/6) Uhm... Was checking out GSC right back when it was going to come out. Found the pokédex, stumbled upon the forums on accident. Whee. Really I was cocky and thought I was so great so I wanted to get a team rated... then found out that I was an RBY noob. So I stayed. And yeah, TPM has drastically changed. I've lost almost all interest of ever performing moderator duties again. Ever since I stepped down from both my moderator positions, I have been happier and do not regret it. And no, TPM has been hell a lot. It's okay now.

My friend introduced me to TPM for the first time. He's called Hyperworm, and he registered in December 2000, but he doesn't post anymore... I joined TPM in 2001 under a different name because I didn't want to hang around as a guest anymore - I figured that even if I was mainly a lurker, I should be a member, so that if I find a topic that interests me I could post in it. I was really interested in Pokemon at the time so I just loved coming back to it and browsing and everything. It's a lot different now - I come here because of the community, and being around people I'm friends with. It makes me enjoy the forums more. I've always enjoyed being at TPM although I've had a few disappearances. =/

I go on holiday about once a year. Last time I went was last October, when I went to Tenerife. It was enjoyable but I would've rather stayed in a quieter, less tourist-based resort. I've also been on holiday to Tunisia, Andorra, America, Crete and England. I'm going to go to Mexico on Saturday because my sister's in Honduras - We're meeting up with her there. Unfortunately it's going to be a tiresome journey. I have to drive to Edinburgh, fly to London, stay overnight there, fly to Miami, and fly to Mexico. Plus the heat will be sooo much of a drastic change from what I'm normally used to! X_x;

I'm not really sure. I think i was looking at various pokemon sites and i stumbled across TPM. It looked interesting. There aren't as many people posting each night, but its still nice. Yes i've enjoyed TPM since i signed up.

Oh I get bored all the time when I'm home alone. I just surf the internet, time passes really fast when your just reading stuff on different message boards. And I can also play on my GBA emulator, or read a book, or draw, so there's always something to do.

Oh wow, that was so long ago. It was in 2001, and I was under the username articuno148. I was still young then and wanted to talk to some other Pokemon fans since G/S came out recently. It's way different, not just the layout, but the different people that have come and gone. But it's a nice place to be.

We go everytime there's a long week or weeks off from school. I just came back from Los Angeles/San Diego last week. And with that I'm stepping down from my position at the Goldenrod Tower. It's been just over 4 months since I started and I know that doesn't sound long at all but it has kept me really busy. When I'm bored, I'll usually read a book or play some video games, depends on what I'm in the mood for. Usually I switch between the two when if I get bored wtih one, but if I get bored with both, I'll look through my Yu-Gi-Oh cards more often then not. I usually am not limited at all when it comes to choices when bored. For example my father has over 20,000 comics, thousands of books, thousands of movies and TV shows, and the internet never fails, so usually I'll have plenty to do.

I haven't took a break from the AC/CC Subforum because I haven't got anything else planned and I don't need to spend much time here. I wouldn't like to take a break from the AC/CC Subforum because it's getting less active so we need to keep the people active around here. I don't need a break from the AC/CC Subforum because it's not taking up too much of my time. Yeah I ahve :) it was a little while back but I just got bored with this place so I stopped coming for a while ;o nothing was happening really and it was pretty boring after a while so I just left for a couple of months! Nah, no more breaks for me! I have nothing better to do anyway so I'll just stay here lol! Of course I do! I used kazaalite, lol. It's an awesome program to download everything from ;o sometimes it can really suck though; especially when the music file is corrupted or sometihng. I dunno really why I use it but it's really useful when I want to download some anime that's subtitled :) I'm usually either downloading music that my friends suggest for me to download or anime ;) I love to use kazaalite :love:

I found TPM while I was surfing the web looking for a good online Pokedex for the RBY games. What I found was TPM's pokedex which was perfect for my purposes. I joined eventually because I was curious as to what other people thought of Pokemon, but I didn't stay for long because it was lost in a rush of schoolwork and Boy Scouts. Eventually I found it again and have started posted again. I assume that it's different, don't know for sure (right now this is the fourms). As for the site I know it changed a lot. I can remember when the Pokedex was up, all sorts of articles where on (like the Masteries), and the picturedex was coolas well. I was a little disappointed when they were all shut down as they had been my main source of data but I moved on. Generally I have enjoyed it, although I did lose a lot of interest in TPM when the pokedex went down.

I go on vacation fairly often with my family, once or twice a year. The last place I went on vacation was Italy, last summer. We went to Florance, Rome, and Venice, spending a few days in each place. My favorite part was a galss works factory in Venice because they just gave me a beautiful glass horse to take home with me just because I was polite to the people there and asked questions.

No, not really. I haven't been around on the AC/CC Subform long enough to take a break. I guess that I'll probably take a break sometime in the future but not yet, mainly because I might get bored with it or something. I wish would have more to say, but that's about it.

Back in 2000 I was running an anime resource site named Charmander Anime Zone. I was looking for Pokemon stuff and suddenly I found an interesting looking button. I clicked on it and I ended up here. I started browsing out of curiosity, and thought it would be nice to have people to ask my pokemon-related questions to (I was starting to play Pokemon Gold at that time). It turned out a lot better than I expected and, when P&C (now PCG) was created and the Dragon's Guild came with it, I knew I'd found my place on the web. :D So yes, it's changed a lot since I first joined. People have come and left, we've moved from UBB to another version of UBB (with some vB in the middle) to EZBoard to vB to an upgraded vB... Topics have evolved, forums have been rearranged, the board authorities have changed a lot... but it's always been fun. :round:

No, I don't go on vacation often. I'm too busy. The last time was in January, 2003 when I went to Salta. And yes, I did have fun. As for where I'd like to go... there are many places, old and new. I'd like to meet my TPM friends and also go to some places I've already been to and I miss. I'd also like to visit my penpals and some friends who live far away and I haven't seen for a long time... and my grandmother in Salta too.

Yes, I have, as I'm sure you all know. >_< I really didn't mean to though - It sincerely was like one day I didn't feel like I wanted to come here anymore, and I just... Didn't. I really don't know why and I know it was an extremely selfish and stupid thing to do, but then again, a lot of people here know I do stupid things without meaning to, and even if they didn't know before, they should now. =P In the time I was away I managed to get my IRL life in order though and now my life is a hell of a lot easier to cope with, since everything isn't so disorganised and things. ^_^; And I don't plan to leave TPM without warning people first, because now I know what the repurcussions (sp? O_o) can be like.

And so you all know, I'm going to Mexico tomorrow (Saturday the 10th) for two weeks, so I fairly obviously won't be here. Unless I find an internet cafe or something, but I'm not guaranteeing that I will, so... ^_^;

I use a program to download music called Limewire. I know it's illegal and everything, but my two older sisters and a lot of their friends use it... Plus I think it's easier for me, since I rarely have any money I want to use on albums and whatnot, and this way it's free! I'm such a rebellious law breaker. =P I like using it simply because it makes my life easier and I haven't heard of it crashing for anyone I know.

I use WinMX myself. The main reason I use it actually is that my brother downloaded it and used it himself. I just saw no reason to dowload another one since WinMX would work jsut fine for my purposes. His reasoning (which is my reasoning, I guess) is that it's the only one that allows you to search for more then one thing at once, don't know if that's true, but it's what I heard. I mainly use it to download music and that's about it. It's perfectly fine to use, no complaints so far, plus it's not as well known so I feel a little safer using it then Kazaa.

I dont go on vacation often. Once every year it used to be. Last time I went was about 4 years ago. It was to Newquay in Cornwall at the South of England. It was pretty fun, there are a lot of beaches, one of them famous for surfing. It was pretty fun, there was a lot to do and there was plenty of entertainment. I would like to go to Japan because it seems like such a interesting country.

I do use them, but only when I want to look up something like when a person/pokemon learns a move, or when I'm stuck. I don't really like using them all that much, but I'd rather play the game all the way through, then be stuck somewhere for two hours. The genre I usually use them for is the best, in my opinion, genre, RPG's. I just love the challenge and how they take for ever, so when you beat them you feel a sense of accomplsihment, but sometimes I do need help.

I sometimes use Strategy Guides when I play video games depending on what I need in a certain video game that I'm using it for. I use Strategy Guides sometimes because people have wrote them that have covered everything in the game more than once so they should be very reliable. I use them on some of my Role Playing Games since Role Playing Games are the only genre of video games I play now thanks to some crappy games from the other genres. I don't really like using them because I like to do stuff for myself but when you get stuck somewhere for hours I think you need one.

I rarely play video games lately. I've only resorted to strategy guides after being stuck for a couple of days at an RPG, which happened when I was playing Sam & Max and Pokemon Gold, once for each game. Whenever I do get to play a game, I prefer to find my own way around it. It's a lot more fun than following instructions. Only if I'm really stuck will I check a strategy guide so that I can continue playing.

I usually by them for their pokedexes at elast the ones for the pokemon games. It beats lugging a computer with you everywhere you go when you want to write. When it comes to other games, I don't use them unless I'm really really really stuck. I had to get one for the first spyro game, and i could really use one for the Harry Potter and the chamber of seccrets game, becuas ei am seriously stuck in it am x.x

Eew, strategy guides. Never use them, never. They screw you up, they're boring, and... yeah. Really, people who write strategy guides to publish aren't very good. If you want to be great, learn on your own and from other good people. There are some guides on the internet that are awesome, written by people who have mastered the game so much and experimented so often they have the time to write them.

I use them whenever I'm really stuck in a video game, lol. Yes. I have both R/S. I do still play the older games. In fact, I just recently restarted my crystal game. Sometimes its good to just go back to where things were simpler before traits and are were thrown in though i likr R/S don't get me wrong. I like the AC/CC subforumn, because i like to write, and you can have more moves than in the game.

Yeah, all of them. Battles are my favorite part of the game, and if I don't play the Game Boy versions, I won't know what pokémon, strategies, and attacks are available. I still play RBY and RuSa on occasion, but my GSC cartridge hasn't been touched in a while. I mostly play Starcraft on Battlenet now. Oh, and I prefer the AC/CC Subforum over pokémon games because I get to write and it's not so easy to get what I want. In the games... Yeah, Nintendo feels the need to baby us through. RuSa was a big improvement in difficulty, though.

No, I don't even own the R/S games. The main reason is that I just don't want to, I prefer the first 251 Pokemon to the new ones, I just think they look better, plus the whole money factor was a isue too, didn't want to pay $70. I also liked being able to trade with my RBY games in GSC. I still play RBY and GSC on occasion, I'm waiting to get Pokemon Stadoum 2, first so that I can make my, as Largo might say on MegaTokyo, l33t team. Plus my parents don't want me playing video games to much, so I find it best to not play them during normal waking hours. Well, I'm still rather new to the AC/CC Subfourm and all I've really done so far is adopt a few Pokemon, get some items, and stamps, so in the end I'll probably prefer the AC/CC Subfourm, but for now its the games.

I have nearly all the Pokemon games on my GBA because I'm just so addicted to them. The Pokemon games are a unique RPG because they let you go through it and train many monsters that you can battle against friends. I hardly ever play the older games like Pokemon RBY or Pokemon GSC. I guess I don't play them anymore because they've just got too boring after playing them for ages before Pokemon RuSa were released. I would prefer the AC/CC Subforum compared to Pokemon games because Pokemon games get boring after a while whereas the AC/CC Subforum is always active with new stuff to do.

I only use guides after I have already been through the game. I usually play RPGs and I like to get everything, that's where guides come into play. I like using them because I like doing everything on a game, and although it hints on how and where things are, I acheive the goals myself.

Yes, I have completed Blue and Yellow with 151 Dex, Gold I previously had a completed 251 dex, but is now at 238 after restarting. My Ruby Version is what I play a lot now, I have 2 teams and a 201 dex. I will be getting Fire Red when it is released over here as will probably use it as much as my Ruby. I don't often play the older games, but I'm just refinishing Gold. I prefer the games to ACCC because evrything moves along much faster, because people can't be around all the time on ACCC.

Yeah I did; they were pretty fun the first time or so around :) and FR/LG is pretty hot ;) I've played the 97% english rom all the way through and did all the islands ^_^ I play poogeymanz crystal sometimes whenever I'm bored lol. I think crystal is the best out of all those ;o yellow is pretty nice too I guess. I like ac/cc better because you get to do more stuff and have better moves and stuff like that ^_^

If I weren't looking after my little brother I would probably just be playing video games or on the Internet all day and that just gets boring. I just want to do anything because I'm getting so bored in these holidays already as there's nothing to do. So looking after my little brother is a little fun and different from what I normally would do so I kind of like it in a strange way. I get lots of free time anyway to play video games later so it doesn't matter.

No, I haven't because I don't have a GBA. I still play Pokemon Crystal every now and then, when I get the time and nothing better to spend it on. I prefer the AC/CC subforum. It has a lot more possibilities and I love the creation and the interaction with other trainers which the games don't allow me.

Yeah, I use them a lot because I hate walking around in circles and wasting time. If I can't figure out where I'm supposed to go in 5 minutes, I immediately go to a internet walkthrough and go from there. I usually use walkthroughs for action games, like the Zelda series and Donkey Kong games. My preferred walkthrough is from Zeldauniverse since it's very complete and the whole site is well done

Yup, I have Sapphire and I'm playing it right now, to get the Reji's. I still play the older games but to just complete the Pokedex now. I like the Pokemon games and the subforum but probably the subforum more since there's more interaction and it makes you feel like you're actually in the Pokemon world when you're in the EH or when you write a story

I would like to say i never use them, but I do. The game I have used a guide the most on, would have to be syphon filter1. x_X I dot find it very clear in where you are supposed to go, especially when there is no map. =_=;
I get all my guides off gamefaqs.com, I find that is the best site to find detailed info.
I onyl use em when I get stuck or lost somewhere in a game. I never read boss' strategies. I think that ruins the best bit of the game:)

I used to play a bit of crystal/r/s/etc, but not so much now. I find the speed on roms far superior, and you save on batteries:D I used to find this forum a lil confusing so i kept away from it, and resigned in the r/s forums, but now I know a bit about ac/cc now, I only enter r/s if I see something about Spinda.

The only thing I find odd about the number 13 is it's an odd number and some people think it's unlucky for them. Nothing has happened recently or in the past that I know of involving the number 13 except maybe the power going out on the 13th of some month. I don't have any of those strange beliefs myself but it does seem weird that if you break a mirror you get 7 years of bad luck and I'm just unlucky all the time.

On Monday I already knew what I was doing, but I couldn't get around to answering this question. It began by waking up at 7:00 A.M. Then I ate breakfast, and the began the laborious chore of "pebble-shining" the driveway. For those of you who don't know "pebble-shining" (which will be called PS from now on) is when your driveway is made up of many pebbles and you have to shine them with an oily substance every three years. You need to cover each and every single pebble with this stuff and you have to use rollers to, for all intents and purposes, paint the driveway, and sidewalk in my case. Also the stuff that you need costs $18 per gallon, and we used 18 gallons of the stuff. So that took up a large portion of the day which was very boring and tedious. As you can imagine I didn't want to do this. Once that was done we sat around for a while and then we were off to Vacation Bible School! My little brother was in the program and my older brother and I were "Shepard's" who guided the kids around from room to room and helped out the teachers, etc... Essentially we were teacher's aides. So that went for four hours with around fifteen little kids. It was now 9:00 P.M. so I sat down and watch a movie with my father, "A Fish Called Wanda."

The short way to answer this question would be no, no, and no. But the longer way is so much more fun! I don't really find anything odd about the number 13; I even consider it my lucky number! I believe that all the bad stuff that involves 13 is either coincidental or it's exaggerated. Occasionally good stuff actually happens to me with 13, but no more so then any other number. Numbers and objects are just that numbers and objects, no more, no less.

Has Matt killed Goldenrod Tower for today because he made this poll? I think he has because no one seems to have answered it yet. If you can't even think of your own poll just for one day think of what us Goldenrod Owners have to go through every day. I just hope Matt hasn't killed Goldenrod Tower for today so more people will come and have a go at making their own poll and answering it. Yes, I very well think he is. People might have not posted because of TPM's downtime for most of this morning or maybe they were busy! Plus, I don't see why this wasn't that popular...it was quite popular in the past and seeing as it was late when I made it and couldn't really think, I thought it was perfect for the daily poll. So, yes, he is wrong about me killing goldenrod tower this morning!
