ok, crap question, I know, but are there any tournaments I can join going on now or soon?

Well, just a little further down the page you can look at my tourney, the INNT...

We've got the tournament running already, but you can certainly be a sub or something if you like. We've also got one player who might not actually be participating, and you could be a candidate to replace her, if you choose.

It's a rather different set of rules, however, and I strongly suggest you check them out in detail before giving me an answer one way or another.
