The Aussie guy came 40th. Sucked in, cheater! :D Knew he'd crash and burn! :lol:

Reversal of Dead is the card I like from this set. Sure, it costs a bit more for the ressurection, but there are some great combos possible. Sanctuary of the Sky, Chaos and Exodia would love this! Exodia decks wouldn't have to worry about losing the head for good anymore! That allows full use for 2 Morphing Jars without concern!

I also like Dragon Knight of Dark Realm - Dark Sword. Chaos decks are going to fear this and the Magical Scientist!

Overall, Machine decks and to an extent Fire decks will get some benefits from this series.

Shame I quit the game as well. I would have loved this set for the harpys.

I love harpy decks if you guys didn't know lolz.

Actually, I've found a clever way to still play. ;)

The dealer I sold my cards to, he judges the regionals in my state and the nationals for Australia. So, since he's a judge, he can't compete. Since he has the best collection in the state by far, and because we've done a lot of business together, he's agreed to let me use any cards I need come regionals and nationals. If the game's alive next year, I might compete.

Still, one problem: none of these cards prevent the almost unstoppable Magical Scientist deck from winning everywhere until some restricitons are imposed. The decks in my area are winning 80% on first turn alone, plus they also have a clever Last Turn combo built in to. They win 95% of duels and you hardly ever play a card. Explain why I should even bother duelling if that's what the game has come to.

No it wasn't. A lot of countries (including Australia) got only 1 representative!

Whereas a few countries, like Japan and the USA, got 3 each! Explain the fairness in that.

There were 32 countries represented and 80 competitors.
