I do wish they would stop spurting out the crappy Level 2 500 attack monsters.

These are the cards that I think are worth a mention. Feel free to discuss others.

Onto the cards:

RDS-JP005
God of World Creation
Light/Thunder/8/2300/3000
Choose one monster card in your Graveyard, discard one card from your hand, special summon the chosen monster to the field. This effect can only be use once per turn, and you may not special summon this card from the Graveyard
Ultra/Ultimate Rare

Starting off with a Lv8 and his support. Nice little effect, Foolish Burial/Painful Choice to discard whoever you like then bring it back with God Of World. Summon and sit it in defence mode for stalling while using his revival effect each turn. If you notice the type of his support card and it's level you'll know what card can be used to search him, since it's used so often. (Calling Reinforcements).

Perfect Machine King
Earth/Machine/8/2700/1500
When this card is on the field, increase this card's attack by 500 for each Machine on the field except this card.

Earth means Gaia Power, Machine means Limiter Removal, defence means Witchable. Nice card.


RDS-JP016
Samurai of One-Hit Kill
Wind/Warrior/4/1200/1200
When this card battle, before damage calculation, flip a coin and guess.
If you're right, the opponent's monster is destroy by effect.

If your luck is good (which mine unfortunatly isn't) it's great for stalling.


RDS-JP021
Fire Emperor - Testaros
Fire/Pyro/6/2400/1000
When this card is successfully sacrifice summon, randomly discard one card from opponent's hand. If that card is a monster card, do damages to your opponent equal to the Level of that monster *100.

We all know how easy it is to summon a Lv6, and with his nice discard effect I think he's definatly worth a mention. Can also be used with Crater Diver.

Dark Warrior - Beowulf
Dark/Beast-Warrior/4/1600/600
When this card is face up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Trap
cards during battle phase.

Mirage Dragon

When this card is face up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Trap
cards during battle phase.

Light and Dark which means they fit into a Chaos deck. I just like them because they have a nice mini-APS effect.


RDS-JP028
Explosive Flame Union Body - Gaia Soul
Fire/Pyro/4/2000/0
You may sacrifice up to two Pyro sub-type monster on your field, when
this effect is use, increase the attack strength of this card by the
number of monster you sacrifice by the effect *1000. When this card attack
a monster in defense mode, if the attack strength of this card exceed the defense strength of that card, do damages to your opponent equal to the different. This card is destroy at the end of battle phase.

The card that'll be used the most as all the Fire decks start coming out. It's such a great card, for a few reasons: 2000 attack with no draw back, increasable attack, trample effect, witchable, crater diver-able, Burning Blood boost. Cool card but lousy art.

RDS-JP030
Giant Battleship - Big Core
Dark/Machine/6/2300/1100
When this card is successfully sacrifice summon, put 3 counters on this card. This card cannot be destroy as a result of battle. Whenever this card battle, remove one counter at the end of damage step. When this card battle with no counters on it, destroy this card at the end of damage step.

Perfect for stalling. Limiter useable aswell.

Transformable Machine - Cannon Dragon
Dark/Machine/7/2800/2000
You can Normal Summon this card to the field without Sacrificing monster. If you do, this card attack and defense strength is halved.

This has so many uses. Foolish Burial/Painful Choice a CED/CS and then stick it back into your hand.

Trap - Counter
Discard one card from your hand, negate a activation effect of an effect monster and destroy that monster.

It can be used to stop CED's effect.

Trap - Normal
This card can be activate at damage step when your opponent attack one of your monster. Choose one of other monster on your field and add it's attack strength to the monster being battle.

I'll explain this further if you don't understand. A Black Magician attacks one of your Kuribo, you have a BEWD on the field, activate this and add 3000 to Kuribo.


There are some others that could be mentioned, but I didn't want to, i'll let you all suggest others. I'm pleased with the set.

Could Pikuru's Magical Formation stop CED Damage? Anwho set is better than some and what about Continue Magic, that could be good if you say, use it as a Monster Reborn, Pot of Greed, etc.

It could... All card effects/rulings/etc will be sorted out in due time. Set has only just been released so there's bound to be loads of questions.

This card can attack opponent's lifepoint directly even he/she have monster

As far as I know, it keeps the 1000 that it gains from turn to turn. So it starts at 100, then goes to 1100, then 2100, etc etc etc Level 3 means it works great in a Grav Bind deck.

Yah, sorry of this considered SPAM but I was just wondering if anyone knows what set Devil's Sanctuary is going to be coming out in?

In attempt to trying to keep on track to this topic: Damn, no Fiend-monsters in this entire set X(. Oh well, I do like the effect and the art of the Dragon Fusion though :yes:

Indeed Jess, perfect in a Grav Bind deck, especially using those Trap jammers.

As for Devils Sanc, it was a promo card in a V-Book, so chances are it'll be a while before it's released in English. I'm guessing it'll be a Vid Game Promo release card. I'm not sure what cards you have in Eng yet, so I can't give an accurate answer.

Indeed it would. But you could just Cyc/Ration/Temp it and attack them since they'd have a clear field. Or an RV mon.

That just means this card is not that effective if you play against a freaking chaos deck or anything else that controls like mad.....and we all know how many ppl plays chaos.

Don't know many who play Chaos anymore. Only know 1 or 2, everybody else has moved on.

You might be able to destroy it anyway when there field is gone. I think they translation will finish up as:

So basically, attach to a monster thats in attack position, easy to kill or advantageous to u. Or, u could attach one to every monster of his so the heck of it.

Ok, kinda geddit it now. Too bad theres no such thing in pkmn tho.

Equip it to your oponants monster for an easy kill, since -700 is quite a hefty drop, attack and destroy, then equip it onto another to do the exact same thing. Easy field cleaner.

That's not exactly gonna be hard now is it lol If it's on an APS he drops to 1700, most people use a boat load of 1900+ and the new 2000 Rusher from this set is being heavily abused.

One question: explain how all this beatdown stuff helps when there are Magical Scientist decks that get first turn kills 80-90% of the time, before you even get to play a card?

Haven't seen that type of deck used in a competion for months/year. Haven't seen it in a duel for about the same length.

There isn't a way to stop that if it's pulled off first turn, but it's very rare that that would happen.

All you need is 3 cards.

Foolish Burial + Scientist + Monster Reborn

Or

Angels Gift + Catapult Turtle + Monster Reborn + Scientist

Or

Foolish Burial x2 + Monster Reborn + Early Burial

Or... I'll stop lol there's a lot more then that, but they all involve dumping and reviving.

Those LV 2 monsters can be used with Machine Duplication Factory. That is why Konami made them. Also we all know what level 2's can do ;)

You really have no idea how many abuses Cannon dragon has do you? Here's some:

Metamorphosis
Skill Drain
Creature Swap + Needle Burrower/KA-2 Death Scissors

to name a few.

I'd rather not waste time summoning a Lv5 monster with such pathetic stats just to use a magic card on and summon 2 more pathetic mons. The only use I can think of is Gilford, and that's just not worth it.

Altron has tried the Metamorphosis and it doesn't work. You have what? Twin Headed Thunder Dragon and Saint Jeanue to use.

Skill Drain it wouldn't work. It's a summoning requirement, so it'd either be at 1400/1000 or it be stuck as a Lv7.

Theres not really a ruling on it yet, so we cant really know that Skill Drain wont work on it for sure(though just playing Skill Drain after would be simpler -.-). Like Invalidate sort of.

Hold on...waste time? Waste time?! Its a fun combination. And that is what the game is about. Having fun.

Needle Burrower is a very useful card! Its effect makes up for its stats, just killing a level 4 will have an automatic 2000 damage.

No actually, if Skill Drains out it's a lvl 7 without the effect. But if it's summoned first it's STILL a lvl 7 that's 1400/1000...

"This games only about having fun!" is the warcry of the kid who can't admit their combo is pointless. It's not fun to lose because your favorite combo just cannot compete with any semi-serious deck. I don't play Chaos because it's not fun.

Between me and YY, we both "think outside the box"...he always posts type or tribe decks(Earth or Machine for example) and I'm constantly making stuff like a Ninja Deck, Amazoness Deck, Dinosaur Deck, and even my favorite Dark Magician deck...So "thinking outside the box" isn't really gonna change the way we build decks. Especially for me. The most common decks I've ever used were Clown Control, Exodia, Water, and my current Beast deck.
