I think its annoying when people use "XD" after stuff that...isn't funny o0; like.... 'if you think Ash is ugly, then you must be blind XD' or something equally dumb.
but if something is actually funny, I don't mind people using LOL or XD :)

Don't know, don't care. I use XD on occasion when I feel it could highten the reading enjoyment of my post, but rarely do I type it more than once in one message.

I never even use LOL, and I rarely notice it.

I find niether of them to be annoying, to be quite honest. *shugs*

It bugs the **** out of me when people say "lol" after every single thing. They seem to make it an involuntary action and just say it, even though the other person isn't trying to be funny. I think they do it too because they don't know what else to say. :rolleyes:

I'd have to say XD. I've only used it once this whole time I've been back on the boards, and I know I'm not proud of it.

I'll say XD. I use it occasionally, but I don't overuse it. But if someone was doing that constantly, it'd be really frustrating.

And I use lol a lot on AIM, just because I have a lot of really weird conversations. In those cases, it appears in about half of the lines, and it's not really out of place. :lol: But if someone typed XD constantly there, I think it would become irritating.

I'd say LOL. You want to say lol, go ahead, but must it be in capitals? If the lol is lowercase, tho, I'd say XD.
