Well the question is simple: What does the move helping hand do? For some reason I just can't figure it out...

In a 2v2 Battle when you use Helping Hand your Partner's attack will do x1.5 more damage.

I've seen it used with Special Attacks in Colosseum. Do you mean attacks in general, or Attack?

Is it really worth useing it though? I guess if combo'd right it could work wounders, but still, I'm not into double battles so I dunno really.

From what I've heard about 2v2 Battles most 2v2 Teams have at least one Pokemon with Helping Hand. Think about it, that extra power could turn a move that 2HKOs into a OHKO making it very useful.

Yeah I guess if combo'd with like Earthquake it'd be some good. But can all pokes learn it? Cuz I got no clue on that one lol

Plusle and Minun can learn it, who also have Plus and Minus characteristics; when used together in a 2v2, their stats rise.

Espeon and Umbreon learn it, and are starter Pokemon in Pokemon Colloseum, which has frequent double battles (I am assuming).

Latios and Latias learn it....

and there will be a whole bunch more.

So you have the Nidoran family, the Eevee family, some Legends, and some pointless UU Pokemon who wouldn't even be used in 2v2 Battles. Only half the Pokemon on there are decent and considered for 2v2 Battles anyway. You also missed the Pokemon who can learn Helping Hand through breeding like Jumpluff.

I beat it's decent with the Eevee family and the legends, but that's about it IMO.
