Primeape Issues

Can anyone suggest Primeape movesets? I would like to raise one to helop me beat the E4 in LG, but I cannot breed one until after I beat them, I hear.

That's right - no breeding until you get to the extra Islands. Not sure if the game will let you trade a bred Mankey/Primape from another copy of FRLG (Honestly, can't see why not - but I'll assume you can't).

Um... not 100% sure about what TMs you have access to in FRLG and when, but try this:

Cross Chop/Brick Break
Double Team/Overheat (I mean... c'mon. How many Fighting types get it!?)
Return/Seismic Toss/Rock Tomb/Aerial Ace
Earthquake

If you can get the Substitute tutor and Focus Punch prior to E4, a sub-puncher set might go well:

Cross Chop/Brick Break/Return
Substitute
Focus Punch
Return/Earthquake

This thing is a UU Pokemon but it can sweep well if you set it up right.
