Upcoming ps2 games

WWE: Smackdown vs Raw looks very good. The series has been improving my leaps and bounds since Smackdown 4. Rachet and Clank 3 looks pretty nice too. That's all I'm really looking forward to unless Xenosaga 2 is coming out this year.

5 words- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Must... have... Also Tony Hawk's Underground 2 I'm looking forward to. Devil May Cry 3 I'm kinda afraid to expect big things from since DMC2 was so horrible, but Gamespot's written nothing but good things about it so maybe.
As for original games, I am definitely picking up Blood May Tell, that looks like a great game. Manga-based samurai game, should be worth playing. Red Ninja: End of Honor looks somewhat interesting, although not much info on it.

In the near future, only GTA to be honest. Not seeing a grand amount of must-have titles for it this fall/winter. Games like Viewtiful Joe, for example, I'd prefer to have on the Cube or X-Box.

I'm definitely getting GTAA. I've heard more than enough. lol

As for other games, Killzone looks interesting. While I don't think it will be a 'Halo Beater' (apparently, it was just said excite PS2 owners), it looks as though it will be a good game in its own right. Cold Winter sounds promising, too, with the promise of being able to put objects together to create weapons.

In the not-so near future, I'll probably get FFXII. Depends if it sounds interesting enough, though. I can definitely rub out FFXI from the list. I don't have a broadband connection and I can't be bothered paying £19.99 a month (subscription) to play an online game.

GTA got delayed for another week. Won't be out until 10/26 now.

Bit of a blow, but it could have been worse. The 22nd release date worked out just fine. One of my parents could have picked up the game on the day of release (I've preordered it) and I'd have had a whole week to play it without interuption (no college because of autumn half-term). Oh well, I'll just have a wait a little bit longer, like everyone else.

I'm not sure if anyone here has heard about this yet, but anyone who's a Final Fantasy Fan will be interested in this....

While I was surfing around and looking up information on the Advent Children movie, I found the latest scan from Famitsu that also included a logo and title for a BRAND NEW Final Fantasy 7 sequel! "Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy 7" will be coming out for PS2 in 2005! And Vincent is the main character! *does a happy dance*

Alright maybe I'm getting a "tad" too excited, but I've had too much caffiene today...

...I hope this is bleeding true!!! A new game with Vincent, my favourite FF7 character, in the lead role...someone pinch me...actually, don't bother...I'd quite happily let it run if this is a dream...lol

...on the other hand, I hope Square-Enix don't mess it up. If they do, that'll be the final straw for me. Smudging the name of Final Fantasy 7 would be unforgivable. Cancelling Chrono Trigger: Resurrection (a non-profit fan-based game with the ten best moments of CT) was bad enough...

I hope they're not pulling our legs either! But the Tokyo Game Show is coming up soon, so we'll find out! If they reveal it there then it's definetely official! But seeing as they put it in Famitsu magazine alongside Advent Children and they have some really nice screenshots of Vincent! (*swoons and drools*)

I also heard though, that it may not be the traditional RPG style game. It might be more like Devil May Cry or somehting of that sort. But that's still VERY much indetermined. Nobody really knows for sure.

This is torture for me though. Not only do I have to wait for Advent Children, I now get to add a new game for my fav FF to the list! I'm also eagerly awaiting Kingdom Hearts 2....WHY WON'T THE TORTURE END!?! WHY!?!
