Default RMT/Need suggestions for members of my Silver team

Most of my battling is done in-game; my only link battles recently have been with my friend's kid brother. Usually, the fifth member of my team is whatever Pokemon I'm training up at the moment and the sixth is the one with the HM necessary to get somewhere, but concievably there will soon be a time when I'm going to want to have an actual fighter.

I've already "finished" the game in all respects except for Pokedex completion. I still battle the Elite and Red for the cash and the experience values. All of the Pokemon below are level 59 at the moment.

Assuming that any of the base Pokemon available for Silver are at my disposal (i.e., no Gold versions only, and obviously no Cerebii) can anyone suggest a fifth and sixth member for my team that would help to balance out my group, keep its in-game usefulness, and also make it worth battling with, if I ever get an actual opponent to move into the area?

    FERALIGATR
    Bite
    Slash
    Surf
    Hydro Pump
(Pretty standard. I was thinking about crossing my fingers and praying I could get an HP/Ground onto Feraligatr and replacing one of the attacks with that. If not, what would be your suggestions?)

    UMBREON
    Bite
    Mean Look
    Moonlight
    Quick Attack
(Would love some TM suggestions for Umbreon. I would like to maintain her in-game usefulness by keeping Bite, but she doesn't really need Quick Attack.)

    LUGIA
    Rain Dance
    Waterfall
    Aeroblast
    Safeguard
(The water attacks will leave eventually, as soon as I have something with which to replace them. Right now, since I do most of my training in Mt. Silver, it was just handy to have somebody with Waterfall, and since Lugia learnt Rainy Day as a default...)

    WEEPINBELL
    Cut
    Flash
    Razor Leaf
    Vine Whip
(Depressingly standard, and depressingly in need of TMs. Your thoughts?)

My fifth slot usually is filled by
    JYNX
    Mean Look
    Lovely Kiss
    Powder Snow
    Body Slam
but I'm not committed to her. I'm thinking about Psychic replacing Body Slam and potentially Icy Wind over Powder Snow; the Mean Look and Lovely Kiss moves are too helpful for me at the moment to consider deleting. (I'm on a Legendary Beast hunt.)

Does anyone have any suggestions to improve the movesets of my four base members, and/or to fill my two remaining slots?

feraligatr= well, if you have hydro pump, you really don't need surf, and vice versa. i perfer surf, since it's more accurate, and also acts as a travel power in game... however this would be up to you and your preferences (do you like power that misses or a reliable move that hits and packs a decent punch).
umbreon= i'm personally a fan of the annoyer umbreon (mean look, toxic, moonlight, c-ray@leftovers), but that's just me.
lugia=aeroblast, recover are a must. i've heard different people use different things, like psychic or ice beam. again, preference.

A start would be to evolve your weepinbell into a victreebel.

    Let's go through.

Feraligtr - OMG do you really need hydro pump and surf (surf is better keep that) and bite on feraligtr. OK keep surf just for the handiness and type boost and sutff. Swap hydro Pump for Earthquake or something to get rid of electric types. Next attack to swap over bite, rock slide or iron tail or something.

Umbreon - Your right, quick attack should go. For toxic. Definetely. Kind of a must on an umbreon. Confuse ray could go over bite.

Lugia - No need for any water attacks what so ever on Lugia. Take them off. Keep Aeroblast just because it's cool and well, can come in handy. make sure it's all PP uped though. Lugia can make a surprisingly good toxishuffler. But you are better using your toxic TM on Umbreon. So give it psychic, recover, HP fire or something. That's not to good but it's better than what you have now.

Weepinbell - Strip this one of all it's moves. Two sets could be used here. The swords dance plus sludge bomb is always welcome. As well as return and HP ghost to go along with it if you wish. The other set is the classic victreebel a la sunnybeamer. Solarbeam is powerful and with sunny day doesn't need to charge. it also powers up synthesis and increases the power of HP fire. it all ties together pretty well.

OK you want two more. How about these for some special sweeping goodness and something else.

Jolteon - Ah good ol speedy + kick ass Jloteon. Thunderbolt and thunder wave are good.Mabye attract to to kind of annoyer it up. Or you could do with rain dance + Thunder + HP water approach but that would contradict with your victreebel, that's if you used the sunnybeamer set. If you use the suunybeamer use the typical fast thunbderbolt + HP ice + thunder wave + filler. If you use the sludgebomb set use the rain dancer set for Jolteon.

Miltank - Miltank can take care of all your clericy needs. Milkdrink, Heal Bell, siesmic toss and thunderwave works good here.

    OR

Blissey - If you prefer it over Miltank you may want to look into this amazingly kick ass pokemon. Something like softboiled, heal bell, counter and flamethrower/seismic toss works well here.

    OK and on to items

Feraligtr - kings rock or scope lens or something.
    Umbreon - leftovers.
Lugia - Foucs Band mabye or brightpowder.
Victreebel - kings rock or scope lens or something. (again)
Jolteon - Quick Claw / scope lens.
    Miltank - leftovers.
    Blissey - leftovers.

Man GSC doesn't have much to choose from item wise. Oh well, it's cool to see a GSC team up for rating. Oh yeah and welcome to the boards.
