    The Johou Tournament
    [font=tahoma]

    Upon the outskirt islands between the Hidden Leaf Village and the Mist Village, is a secluded island that harbors a dangerous academy- Shikou Academy. Known through out the Shinobi villages, Shikou Academy is a place that very few promising Ninjas-in-training are allowed to be enrolled into. Its high-classed teachers and dangerous, strong and some-times questionable techniques make the Academy one of the most acknowledged and prestigious places throughout the land.
    While normal graduated Ninja students go on to become Genin and do low-class missions until they are granted higher ranks, a few are allowed or invited to (attempt to) join Shikou Academy. Each village selects a few very promising Genin to attempt to join Shikou Academy. If they are allowed to enter the Academy, it is there they will spend two harsh years of training to hone their skills to amplify their powers. It has been proven and is believed that those Ninjas who attend the academy excel and rise in Ninja ranks faster than any normal Genin who simply do missions to prove their worth. In fact, if a Genin ninja graduates from Shikou Academy, they are immediately promoted to the rank of Jounin and are recognized by their village. That is… if they graduate…

    However, a Ninja has to get into Shikou Academy first. Even if a village recommends a Genin to the academy, that does not guarantee they are automatically allowed into Shikou. First, all the Genin must enter the Johou Tournament. If they pass the trials of the Johou Tournament they are allowed to enter… but the Tournament lasts for several weeks, some times up to a month. Many Ninjas claim that those who even attend and participate in the tournament have an edge over the regular Genin. While the tournament tests the skills the Genin already possess, it also works to enhance and train those skills to show improvement during the tournament. This would not only show current worth, but also potential.

    Welcome to the Johou Tournament.
    [color=orange]

    You are a newly-graduated Ninja who has shown extreme talent and has gone on a few Genin missions but already has shown extreme talent compared to other Genin. One day, you are informed (in some way or another) that you have to attend a meeting with the head of village. It is there that you (and a few others) learn that you are being withdrawn from missions (WHAT?!) and are being sent to Shikou Academy (oooooh…). So you head to Shikou Academy and are immediately greeted by a pair of Ninjas. One of them is a female who not only looks pleasant, but seems to have a pleasant demeanor as well. (She looks almost as old as you too… O.o?). The other is a man whose one eye is covered and seems to be quiet and a bit unnerving to you. They both welcome you, and soon inform you that you will be enrolled into the Johou Tournament to see if you truly are welcomed to Shikou Academy.
    Ushered inside… you find yourself immersed in a large and almost dream-like place. Several training facilities border the large almost castle-like facility in the center. This facility serves as the off-hands training- basically the place where Ninjas will teach you with written and oral tests and lectures if you are permitted into the academy. Outside of the area are many forested places with certain alterations for tests and studying sessions, and to the very right is a huge and open-roofed stadium ground for the last part of the Johou Tournament.
    “While you are not enrolled into Shikou Academy… you are allowed to use all the facilities here while you are not in training or being tested.” The rogue-looking male Ninja informs you.
    It is then that you join with a main group of Genin Ninjas that have come from all of the Nine Villages. All are here for the tournament, and you suddenly realize that perhaps this competition is going to be tougher than you expected.
    The Johou Tournament is a tournament that is designed to test all areas of being a Ninja. This means that the first stage of the Johou Tournament will test basic Ninja abilities with simplistic tests such as running through training exercises and attempting to climb trees… etc. Other tests will be related to speed, strength, mind and chakra abilities as well. This is all stage one tests… mostly non-combatant abilities although they still will remain competitive since many of the tests will be together with other Genin.
    Stage two tests teams’ abilities and thus several Genin will be divided up onto teams where they will attempt to successfully complete a mission. Once you join a team, it will not be permanent but will change quite often. This will help identify your assets and define you for those who will be watching and observing you at all times.
    The last and final stage will obviously be the main part of the tournament- fighting against your own opponent for victory. That is rather self explanatory.

    While those three stages will be the tournament, you will have breaks between each day (each stage covers a week or so). Some times you will be given a few days off, depending upon the schedule of both the Academy and the Tournament. This will allow you to not only relax and gain your strength, but it also gives you time to attend a few of the classes at the Academy or observe a few sparrings between the students of the Academy.
    “You are also welcomed to go to any place for help or aid here in the Academy. There are many available Jounin to teach and help you hone your skills between tests and stages.” The woman says nicely, giving a slight bow. You are allowed to try to schedule help or training sessions with a few of the “professors” in the Academy- all which are usually highly skilled Jounin.
    “Your first test of the first stage will be tomorrow morning. Be here at dawn promptly. All of you.” The male Ninja says, narrowing his eye as he simply walks off.

    Welcome to the Jounin Tournament, or perhaps even Shikou Academy!

    Now, you don’t have to know Naruto or have even watched Naruto to be in this RPG. While I have taken the basic structure, land-structure and names of Naruto… it obviously won’t follow the anime. That means you can have special abilities like in the anime from Naruto, but there isn’t really a limit however I EXPECT everyone to be creative with their characters. (So please… not everyone take extreme special abilities or the same abilities or I will be forced to pick and choose who can have what.) If you haven’t seen Naruto but want to know a bit about the names and ranks of Ninja, go here:
    Naruto Rank Guide & Etc
    To also have a map of Naruto’s world and a guide to the villages, go here:
    Naruto Village & Land Guide

    Anyways, if you have any more questions- feel free to ask. More about the tournament and the way things will work in this RPG will be revealed later, but I welcome all questions.

    Name: Kuroda, Miharu
    Gender: Female
    Age: 17
    Village: Hidden Cloud Village
    Appearance: [ See Second Attachment ] Like that, with that tattoo as well. However, she wears a skirt-version of that dress, with a sleeveless skin-tight top that is cut slightly down the middle. Her village head-band is located around her waste.
    Personality: Miharu is extremely pleasant and constantly has a smile upon her face. She’s warm and welcoming and prefers optimistic thoughts than anything. It’s hard to take her seriously as a Ninja if you first meet her, especially if you haven’t seen her skill. Most assume she’s a push over based on her seemingly non-concentrated attitude. She extends a hand to almost anyone and will spread herself thin if it is for the good of others. Her emotions are easily read at all times and she hides very little.
    History: Miharu was raised in the Hidden Cloud Village with care. She had an abrupt and startling existence in life, and she was believed to have been abandoned by an early age. She was adopted however and never knew the pain or suffering of having no real parents, and grew up happy and well-taken care of. It almost seemed as if the entire village was looking after her however and there wasn’t anyone who wasn’t willing to watch or help train her. The entire village almost seemed to help her hone her skills, and she became a Genin at the age of 10. She then was enrolled at Shikou Academy and became one of their prestigious students and graduated with high honors. She instantly became a Jounin and was a huge source of pride for the Hidden Cloud Village. At Shikou Academy she learned of her true heritage, but instead of looking at it in horror she took it in as a gift. She prided herself in learning sealing techniques and swore to help others so that she would never hurt anyone. Soon she was called back to Shikou after offering her uncharged and untainted services, where she became a teacher. While she didn’t scout for talent, she offers her services as a teacher and a counselor.
    Main Jutsu: Genjutsu
    Special Abilities: Hidenjutsu, mostly for the fact that she herself contains the seal of Gobi no Houkou. <More of this is revealed later.>
    Hobbies: She loves listening to people and serves as a counselor and rather enjoys it. Also likes cooking..
    Relations: She knows Ookami through Shikou Academy. Also knows Hado from her village... they had been childhood friends but became split apart once school started and she advanced. (Other relations welcomed!)
    Other: Miharu is a very talented cook.

    Name: Outai, Ookami
    Gender: Male
    Age: 21
    Village: The Hidden Leaf Village
    Appearance: [ See 1st Attachment ] Just like that, except with slightly ice-blue tinted grey hair. His main eye is also silver, and his Shaningon eye is not red but ice blue.
    Personality: Ookami seems a bit rough around the edges at first impression. He’s rather quiet and tends to always look at others with a watchful gaze (even with only one eye showing). He tends to be harsh when grading or criticizing others, although deep down he is more caring that he seems. If one were to ask for his help he perhaps at first would scrutinize if they really wanted help, but once they proved their determination he would open up and show them kindness and prove to be a very useful tutor. He does have a few moments where he shows his quirky side.
    History: Ookami grew up in The Hidden Leaf Village, and he became a Genin at the age of 6. He was extremely praised for his skill and works, and he soon became a Jounin through missions and was never enrolled in Shikou Academy. He worked for ANBU for a while (a special special-ops like team for his village) and did many assassinations for his village, but he was given an offer to become a teacher for Shikou Academy. Accepting the offer (and liking the idea of teaching), Ookami retired from ANBU and joined Shikou Academy. Through his life, Ookami is well-known throughout the Nine Villages and most Genin and higher would know him easily. He has made contact with each of the Nine Villages from time to time, stopping by to observe upcoming Genin or even a few Jounin from other villages. If you were invited to Shikou Academy, most likely you’ve met or been seen by Ookami. He’s become a main guy in the academy (like a scout) although he is not the head. His abilities are mysterious although his strength is well-known.
    Main Jutsu: Ookami is well-balanced in all Jutsu, although he is known for his Kekkei Genkai… because of his one eye.
    Special Abilities: Sharingan (Copy Wheel Eye). The Sharingan eye is a specific trait that Ookami inherited from his family’s bloodline. Usually the Sharingan trait appears in both eyes, but oddly for Ookami he was born with only one Sharingan eye. Despite that, it appears that his Sharingan eye enhanced early and was apparently more powerful than those in his bloodline with two eyes. He finds it a little bit difficult to control because of the power it can create and the chakra it drains, so he covers it with his headband.
    Hobbies: Ookami likes to read a lot… not regular novels, but text books and ridiculously hard texts that normal Ninjas wouldn’t read. He also likes hanging from trees by his legs for some apparent reason.
    Relations: Knows Miharu through Shikou Academy. (I’ll accept relations!)
    Other: Ookami has a weakness for learning… he’ll stop a training session if something interesting happened, but won’t usually tell why.

    “Hmmm… so it appears the straggler has finally arrived.” Ookami said suddenly, appearing quite suddenly before Miharu. She blinked for a second, looking at Ookami before giving a nod. Miharu had been standing upon a large wooden platform, overlooking a rather large group of Genin who had come from all over the land to achieve the change to attend Shikou. They had been told to arrive early this day… and most had come precisely when the sun had risen above the horizon. Those that had come earlier had not been allowed in, merely from Ookami’s spite. (Miharu had wanted them to come, but Ookami found it more amusing to keep them outside the gate.) They now all had gathered- a few of them talking, a few of them being loners… it seemed there were many different personalities from one scale to another. That, and Ookami knew very well that each held their own special techniques and disciplines. He was actually quite excited this year… for this year seemed to bring some of the most promising and unique individuals compared to other years.
    “Attention everyone!” Miharu said loudly, getting everyone’s attention after a few seconds. She offered them a pleasant smile as she looked to Ookami who wasn’t seemingly paying attention, but was looking at the clouds in the sky. Frowning, she looked back to the group of Genin. “We will be back shortly… the last Genin had arrived. Once we bring him back here… we can explain a bit further.” A few mumurs of relief and ‘good riddance’ seemed to emit from the cloud as both of the Jounin disappeared.

    Suddenly appearing, both Ookami and Miharu appeared before the last and final accepted Genin. His name was Takuto, and Miharu knew the name faintly but she had never been one to really research or ‘scout’. However, Ookami knew him very well and he smirked beneath his half-masked face at the sight of the head-strong Takuto. His fierce eyes gazed at Ookami and Miharu, seeming to size them up almost instantly. This amused Ookami further.
    “Mmmm…. What time is it, Miharu-san?” Ookami said softly, turning to her with a sarcastic look within his eye. Miharu seemed to not catch the joke, but she swiftly looked at the sky and shrugged.
    “About noon.” She replied, to which Ookami gave a nod and looked straight at Takuto.
    “You’re late, Takuto-san.” With that, Takuto’s eyes narrowed in annoyance and seemed to be a bit perturbed that Ookami already knew his name. “With your prompt timing, we shouldn’t let you in…” Ookami continued, but he shrugged and looked to Miharu. She shook her head, and Ookami sighed and looked to Takuto. “Lucky for you, Miharu-san is in good spirits.”
    With that, Miharu stepped forward and smiled at Takuto.
    “Greetings, I am Kuroda Miharu, and this is Outai Ookami.” She said, looking at Ookami who seemed to show no reaction to the mentioning of his name but rather he simply turned and disappeared. Miharu waited with Takuto for a few moments, before the gates from the inside suddenly opened a bit, allowing just enough room for the two of them to enter. Miharu ushered Takuto inside, and Ookami shut the doors behind them. Swiftly the three started to walk, as Ookami spoke- his voice unchanged and unnerving with an inner calmness.
    “If you had been on time, Horie-san, we would have shown you the facilities in a quick glancing tour. But there is no time and the other Genin are impatient. I am sure you were informed that you are not allowed in Shikou Academy yet, but must participate in the tournament, correct?”
    Takuto nodded slightly, and soon the three of them entered a large area where many other Genin were waiting. All of them glanced at Takuto, but before he could notice… Ookami and Miharu were back upon the platform again.

    “Welcome again, to Shikou Academy.” Miharu said lightly, as Ookami (seemingly out of no where) pulled out a very thick text book and had it already opened and began reading it. (The words, “The Theories of Calculus” were upon the book) Miharu ignored Ookami as he read, a few of the students finding this odd.
    “As you are all aware of… you are not allowed into Shikou Academy until you have passed through the Jounin tournament. The Johou tournament is divided into three parts over the course of a month or so. You will be informed as we go what each part consists of. The first part of the tournament will not start until a few days… for we would like to do a few fun things first.” Miharu gave an extra smile at the word ‘fun’ as Ookami gave a cough and lowered the book, eyeing everyone with his one eye.

    “First, we handed all of you a slip of paper with a number upon it- Everyone except for Takuto-san over there, who decided to show up late. That number tells you which house you will be in, according to the map.” Ookami pointed at a map near the platform that they were standing upon. The map clearly defined the outline of Shikou Academy, including a large area that consisted of many nicely sized homes for the residents.
    “You will be sharing one house with four other Genin, all who are trying to get into Shikou Academy. You can divide up the rooms as you see fit, for we have no time to do such petty things.”

    Miharu sighed and swiftly spoke after Ookami. “Settle in tonight and come back to this spot tomorrow morning.”
    “Remember Takuto, the morning.” Ookami said sharply, looking at him with a cold stare. “And not before the morning either…” Ookami then looked at another group with an equal stare.
    “Yes… the morning. We will group here and then Ookami-san and I will bring you to the main training stadium. It is there that we have a surprise for all of you Genin. But until then… feel free to take your time the rest of the day to settle into your homes and explore the areas. Be careful not to interfere with other students who are enrolled here however.” Miharu gave a nod, looking to Ookami who went back to reading. Sighing, she continued.
    “One benefit at the Shikou Academy is that there are many able Jounin and Sensei here. We highly encourage you to visit any of them. If they have time they all will be happy to help you with any training questions or concerns you may have. You might even get a nice lesson!” Miharu clasped her hands together, looking once again at Ookami who nodded slightly.
    “If you want to talk, need counseling, want a home-cooked meal or training advice… you can stop by my house any time.” Miharu walked towards the edge of the platform and bent over, pointing at one of the spots on the map. “My house is here. If you want to ask Ookami any questions or want his advice or help in training, his house is here.” She pointed to his house, which caused Ookami to lower the book yet again and give a rather agitated look. He then finally stood up and lowered the book completely, giving a firmer nod.
    “That is all we have to say to you for now. There are maps of Shikou in each house hold… so be off.”
    With that, he disappeared leaving Miharu to wave them off.

    Yay! It staaarts! All of your first posts should consist of you arriving at the Shikou Academy gates and being greeted by Ookami and Miharu, much like they did for Takuto. (Feel free to make their language different of course… I trust all of you can stay in character.) What will be different however, is that they will give you a small little ‘this is the academy’ tour (much like what is described originally in the topic) and then will bring you to the meeting area. Depending on what time you arrive, the group will be large or small. Feel free to interact a bit with NPC characters or existing characters. You have a lot of freedom in other words.
    ALSO! On the housing bit… feel free to have the same number as some one else’s character so you can all room with other characters. I only require that each house has 1 NPC character… doesn’t matter who/what they are. Mixed genders can house, but just keep in mind that Ookami pays house visits often. ^^; Also, feel free to post after the big ‘meeting’ and you can go to your house, explore the Academy or bother my characters or other people’s characters. You get some good freedom this day.

    I will keep the pace going along as I see fit. YAY! STAARRRTS…

    Default Re: *~ Shikou Academy: The Johou Tournament ~* [ STARTS! ]

    Name: Hara Mashahiro

    Gender: Male

    Age: 15

    Village: Waterfall Village

    Appearance: Mashahiro wears very simple clothes: a light blue, sleeveless tunic and similarly colored trousers tied tight above his ankles. His feet are tightly taped with no shoes. He wears his headband, etched with the characteristic waterfall of his village, around the upper portion of his left arm. More characteristic are the many many belts that circle both his waist and upper body, securely fastening his array of weaponry to his body. His overall physique is somewhat slimmer than a normal boy his age, with elegantly graceful hands and a thin face.

    Personality: Like the namesake of his village, Mashahiro is much like a waterfall: peaceful and serene while at the same time capable of great strength and ferocity. He has a smooth, lilting voice and flashing blue eyes. He is friendly and loyal to a fault, willing to put himself in great danger for the sake of his friends. He has a bit of a confidence problem, often doubting himself at critical moments.

    History: Born in Waterfall Village, Mashahiro was not expected to be anything special. The son of a moderately successful pair of ninjas, it was seen from a young age that he was slimmer than most of his peers. Entered into the academy at the normal age, he began to show remarkable ability to wield weapons of any sort. Quickly becoming adept at every weapon available at the academy, he began to become somewhat of a collector, finding and training is as many weapons as possible. Showing ability in all the basic ninja techniques, he showed his greatest aptitude in Taijutsu, seeing it as the best compliment to his skills. Although his parents were proud of him, Mashahiro could sense their jealousy, causing some problems at home.

    Graduating, he immediately left the village on the first mission he could accept in order to give both him and his parents time to come to accept the situation they had been placed in. The mission went sour quickly, the village they were protecting against bandits being overrun by a number far above what had been expected. Mashahiro gained great respect when, as the villagers evacuated under the supervision of his fellow genin, he held off the greater number of the bandit force. Recognized by the Shikou Academy, he was invited to their tournament. Unsure about his worthiness, he nonetheless accepted.

    Main Jutsu: Taijutsu

    Special Abilities: Butoukai no Jutsu: By drawing on his Chakra, Mashahiro can smooth his movements and increase the agility of his actions, seeming to dance around his enemies and through his attack patterns. At it’s highest level of use, Mashahiro appears almost made of water (in his motion, not his appearance). Deadly when combined with his weapon skills. Has a constant drain dependant on the intensity of his usage.

    Hobbies: Mashahiro enjoys crafting of all sorts, especially having to do with weapons. He is a somewhat adequate blacksmith, able to care for and mend his weapons with the proper facilities. He also enjoys carving and engraving and most of his possessions have some sort of embellishment on them.

    Relations: None, besides having seen and spoken briefly to Ookami after the catastrophic mission.

    Other: His uncertainty can be debilitating, it’s that strong.

    Weapons Mashahiro Carries

    Two Kodachi (short blades, longer than a wakizashi but shorter than a katana) sheathed in opposite ends of one large, straight sheathe which he wears diagonally on his back (the left hand reaches over the shoulder while the right reaches at his waist).

    Five, visible, Kunai across his chest

    Multiple small, folding shuriken on his waist

    Two slender blades on his forearms, capable of being extended with a specific gripping pattern of his hand.

    He is known to own other weapons ranging from naginatas to katal yet this is his standard battle gear.

    Mashahiro/Male/Outside the Academy

    A young boy made his way up the dusty path to the fabled Shikou Academy, pulling behind him a covered cart that rattled and clanked on the bumps and divots in the road. Sweat glistened on the boy's face, he had obviously been traveling quite some time, and with a sigh of relief he stopped before the gates. Standing before him were two Ninja: a kind looking female who gave him a slight bow, and a male ninja who seemed engrossed in a book labeled, "Advanced Theoretical Physics". The female began talking almost at once, "Welcome, I am Kuroda Miharu and this is my co-worker Outai Ookami. Welcome to the Shikou Academy! May I ask your name?"

    The boy realized he was talking to two very powerful Jonin, most likely some of best in the world judging by the fact that the taught at the Shikou Academy. Dropping to a knee, the bow gave a deep bow, "I am Hara Mashahiro, from Hidden Waterfall Village."

    A bright smile appeared on Miharu's face, "Ah, welcome Mashahiro, I was wondering why you were dragging along so much luggage."

    Ookami interrupted, "We'll have to search it..."

    Giving a sigh out of the corner of her mouth, Miharu nodded, "You understand Mashahiro? We must make sure you are not hiding anything that may give you an advantage over your peers. And do stand up."

    Coming to his feet, Mashahiro wiped a hand across his forhead to prevent the sweat from falling into his eyes, "Of course Mistress Kuroda, I've only brought my weapons with me, you'll see."

    Miharu beamed even wider, "Of course Mashahiro, but for now please leave your items here, they will be delivered to whatever room you draw once they have been inspected. For now, if you will follow me?"

    Mashahiro gave one nervous glance to his cart, suddenly realizing that there were several older ninja surrounding it, peeking under the cover, before following the two jonin into the academy. Over barely half of an hour, Mashahiro had come to a full realization of why this place was considered home to the best of the best. The facilities at Shikou Academy were amazing, with classrooms both large and small complimented by some of the best practice and wilderness grounds the youth had ever seen, far outstripped anything in his village. A slight sliver of doubt began to ease into his mind as the three ninja made their way around the great central castle.

    Do I belong here? Everyone here seems so....good

    His self-doubt was interrupted when the three arrived at what seemed to be some sort of meeting place, near the great arena that Mashahiro knew he would be entering soon enough. Ookami spoke up for the first time since the tour had begun, "You're the first one here...here."

    Taking the slip of paper the jonin handed him, Mashahiro looked down at the number: four. He looked up for some explanation but Ookami was already engrossed in his book once again. Miharu came to his rescue, "It will tell you which house you will be staying in, but for now please try to relax and wait for your peers to arrive."

    Mashahiro nodded his thanks and made his way to the edge of the metting grounds. Settling down into a crosslegged position, he drew his dual kodachi and placed them across his legs. Closing his eyes, the youth began to meditate, trying to calm his troubled and doubtful mind even as more students began to arrive.

    What have I gotten myself into? I can't screw up, not something like this/

    Default Re: *~ Shikou Academy: The Johou Tournament ~* [ STARTS! ]

    Name: Hado

    Age:17

    Village: Kumogakure(Hidden Cloud Village)

    Appearance: Hado is very tall, standing at a solid 6'2''. His skin is fairly tanned, simliar to that of an olive, and his eyes are a soft, gentle brown.His thick black hair is held away from his eyes by the headband protector around his forehead, which he keeps nice and polished. Normally, he wears a sleeveless dark brown tunic and black pants, with sandals. His hands/knuckles are wrapped tightly in bandages, ending at his wrists.

    Personality: One of the main life lessons Hado has learned through seventeen years of experience is: the only person you can truly count on is yourself. Because of this, Hado is very independent, rarely relying on others for help. If there's something he does not know, he won't ask, he'll discover the answer himself. If there's something he might need, he will do his utmost to acquire it on his own- only after exhausting every other option will he turn to others. Not to say that Hado is cold and unfriendly to everyone around him- a smile and a cheerful word always comes quickly to his face. Yet, at the same time, he loathes allowing other people to gain too much of his trust- he doesn't want to be betrayed again, so he will not allow anyone the chance. In his training, he was the type of person to instruct a struggling Shinobi on the proper way to perform a Jutsu- before going back into the corner to practice his own.

    History:Hado's father died when he was very young, and his mother was a Jounin in the Hidden Cloud Village. He saw her rarely in his childhood, as she was always gone on another mission after mission. Hado lived with his grandparents while his mother was away. He loves them dearly, but they could not replace the mother whom he hardly knew. Left to his own devices, Hado chose to pursue the career that his mother chose, in an attempt to try and understand what could have made her choose being a Shinobi over being a mother. Though he spoke little in the Ninja Academy, he recieved good marks and was always hungry for knowledge.His mother's absence only pushed him harder, and Hado reacted accordingly, pouring himself into his studies.

    When news of the tournament reached the Hidden Cloud Village, Hado was one of those selected to go and represent the village. In his heart, though, he feels that he fights for himself...and his mother.

    Main Jutsu: Taijutsu

    Special Abilities: Hado is particularly resilent, and his fighting style reflects that. As a child, he was infamous for his come-from-behind wins, often seizing the upper hand at the very end of the match. This is because Hado is always adapting to his opponent's moves and plans accordingly. During battle, his chakra use is moderate. However, when he senses an opening, his chakra flow will mulitply, as he forces his energy into his hands and legs. Utilizing quickness and precise, powerful blows, Hado's sudden burst of strength often completely surprises his opponent as he beats them into submission. His mind is just as powerful as his body.

    Hobbies: Training, reading, and contemplation.

    Relations:Was a childhood friend of Miharu's until school began. Miharu advanced quickly, and the two soon lost contact.

    Other: Interestingly enough, Hado has an abysmal memory. Because of this, his hands signs are terrible, and ninjutsu is hard for him to perform, because he cannot recall how to begin. For this reason, he likes to "practice"- performing different hand seals while muttering the names under his breath. This is a little unnerving to strangers, as the sight of Hado breaking into hand seals feels like a sudden attack.

    Weapon: His body, along with the basic ninja tool kit, kunai and the like.

    Hado/ Male/ Outside the Academy

    Pacing himself, Hado huffed and puffed as he jogged to the top of the hill. Around his ankles and wrists were heavy weights, securely held in place with several bandages. Hado swiped beads of sweat from his face with a forearm, his legs beginning to ache. He hoped that he was getting close to the Academy- the weights were beginning to chafe.

    His first glimpse of the Academy was a large gate fashioned from wood. Rather simple, but there was most likely more to the eye than it seemed- one didn't expect mere wood to protect the greatest academy in the Nine Villages from the elements after all. Enthused, he picked up the pace , racing down the hill towards Shikou Academy. In small pockets along his pants leg, hidden kunai jingled musically with his motion.

    Standing in front of the gates were two Jounin, a man and a woman. Hado slowed to a stop as he approached them. They didn't seem to be too much older than him- in fact, the woman looked about his own age. Somehow, she seemed familiar to him...he couldn't put his finger on it...

    "Welcome to Shikou Academy, Hado! My name is Kuroda Miharu, and I work as a counselor here," the woman said pleasantly. She motioned to her companion, who barely glanced upwards from his book. From what Hado could see, the title seemed to be Spatial Relationships and You: A Study. "This is Outai Ookami, one of my colleagues here at the academy."

    "Nice to meet you," Hado replied, bowing in respect to the duo. "But....how did you know my name?"

    Miharu's eyes sparkled and seemed to grow brighter. "Don't tell me you don't remember me! I know it's been some time since we've seen each other, but still, I had hoped your memory was better..." Hado stared at the dirt, deep in thought. Miharu...Miharu...ah!

    He looked up again, his wide with recognition. "Now I remember- you lived in the Hidden Cloud village as well, didn't you? I remember visiting your house a few times when we were young." Miharu nodded in acknowledgement, smiling. "You're right, it has been some time...seven years, at least."

    The one-eyed man coughed gently, closing his book with a SNAP. "Ahem...there will be plenty of time to catch up later, I'm sure. Miharu...?"

    "Of course," Miharu said, clapping her hands together. "Let's give you a tour of our academy..." Hado followed close behind as the gates cracked open, allowing them passage into the Academy. There was no doubt at all- Shikou Academy's training centers were far superior to those in the Hidden Cloud village. There seemed to be an area set aside for virtually every training exercise Hado could think of...and then some. He had no idea what the curriculum might be for the schools, as he wasn't a student yet...but he had no doubt of their superiority. No one's messing around here... I wonder who founded such a place?

    As they passed the huge stadium which would be the proving grounds for the final stages of the Tournament, Ookami pulled a slip of paper from his book and handed it to Hado. The paper was blank except for the number 3. He looked up to Ookami for explanation, but the Jounin was already gone.

    "It's for your housing," Miharu explained. "You will find out who's rooming with you very soon...but for now, please make yourself comfortable. There are still other Genin approaching, and Ookami's disappearance could only mean that another one is close by. I'll see you soon."

    With that, she disappeared in poof of smoke, leaving Hado alone. A few feet away sat another boy,sitting with a pair of blades across his lap. His eyes were closed and he looked closed to the world. Hado studied him for a few moments, noting his headband (Hidden Waterfall, eh?) and complete stillness- his chest barely seemed to rise with his breathing.

    Maybe I'll run a few laps around the grounds- see what I can learn about this place before the others arrive.

    Hado bent down to adjust his leg weights, counted to three, and then took off running.

    Default Re: *~ Shikou Academy: The Johou Tournament ~* [ STARTS! ]

    Name: Tedai, Dongie
    Gender: Male
    Age: 14
    Village: Hidden Waterfall Village
    Appearance: Dongie has his black band wrapped around his left arm, near the shoulder. Otherwise we wears deep blue clothing. A main piece being a tunic-like shirt (Think Legend of Zelda) and then his large pants that are not, in any way, form-fitting. The actually flare out, much like the samurai style pants. Apart from that he wears sandals, just simple brown, nothing fancy about them. And his hands and ankles are wrapped, this is simply a medical precaution because he does not want to risk being injured. His hair is solid black, as are his eyes, and he tends to be very serious, and this can be clearly seen on his face. He doesn't like to show emotion, so his facial structure has few signs of years of smiles or frowns to it. He's just simply stone-faced.
    Personality: Dongie is very serious. He does not come from a long line of ninjas, as a matter of fact, his father was a drunk and a fool, who died young leaving his mother and himself with a lot of debt and even more dishonor. When he showed promise as a ninja, he dedicated everything he had to perfecting his abilities. His village only had one man viewed as a hero, but Dongie viewed him as even more of a fool than his father was, and strove to be better, stronger and faster than anyone. He focused on one technique in particular, one that allowed him to take from others and use it against them, just as he had been treated his entire life.
    History: Dongie was born in Hidden Waterfall and lived there his entire life. His father was no man to look up to for Dongie as a child. And he simply begged people to loan his items and money to barter with, when he typically spent it on drink and food for himself; Often Dongie and his mother went cold and hungry. But Dongie didn't want pity, he wanted respect, and he wanted to earn it. He constantly worked minute jobs around the town to earn for his mother and himself, and thus became more and more physically prominant, especially among other children in the village. There was one day in particular, that Dongie was require to remove at least 10 men's work from the lake, and did so successfully in a single day. He earned some respect from the villagers and from the ninja master.

    He began training and dedicated himself wholly to becoming a great master and earning both money and respect for his lost family. His father passed on, a drunken a beligerent fool, but Dongie continued forward. Not even stopping to mourn. He wanted power, and at the rate he was moving, he would quickly get that power. He focused on Ninjutsu, and became quite powerful. He especially focused on opponent draining moves, or ones that would even kill, just as long as he gained their power. He became thirsty for more power as he gained it, and respect grew.

    Once news of the tournament came about Hidden Waterfall he instantly approaced his sensai about entering. His sensai agreed, and he began his journey alone, to the shore, across the waters, and to the island...searching for respect for himself, and his family name.
    Main Jutsu: Ninjutsu
    Special Abilities: Chakura Kyuin Jutsu (With any physical contact, it does not have to be bare skin. Dongie can drain the chakra of an opponent and absorb it into himself. It is powerful enough to drain 60% of his opponent's chakra, as long as he can keep the hold. If he completes his seal and focuses before a strike, he can drain the full amount in something as simple as a punch.)
    Hobbies: Train...that is Dongie's life. He played games as a child, but that's who games are for, children. He doesn't have time for such petty things anymore.
    Relations: Dongie knows people in Hidden Waterfall, he has been too engrossed in training to attempt friendships. His only true relationships are those with his sensai and his mother. If asked about his father, he will simply reply that he never knew him.
    Other: Dongie is quiet and dislikes obnoxious and over-confident people. He believes actions speak louder than words, and that bragging is merely an annoyance when skill can be proven in combat, and he will challenge anyone who thinks they are better than he. His desire for power and respect might cause him to continue fighting long after a fight is lost. This might cause serious injury to him, or even worse, be the cause of his death.

    Dongie had travelled quite a long time to get to this tournament, and he was sure that he would win. He was even more sure that his competition would be nothing more than pathetic children who saw their ninja powers as a play thing as opposed to the great force it truly was. He should be allowed to teach such low-level learners. After alll, he was the best of Hidden Waterfall. Well, there was Mashahiro, but he needed weapons to fight and that only made him that much more pathetic, who truly needed more than your basic knife and shuriken? It was sad to think that a ninja who could be regarded as high in skill could be so dependant on steel and wood to fight.

    Dongie had not been carrying any type of cart and he had arrived rather early in the morning to this tournament. The dew was just settling on the grass when he made his first steps past the gates.

    This is nicer than I had thought it would be, perhaps training here will be beneficial

    There didn't seem to be many people around so Dongie sat down on the opposite side of the wall surrounding the complex. He didn't want to be seen by the outsiders, but he did want time to collect his thoughts and focus his energy before the first day.

    He had always believed that meditation was better than sleep. (It might be the reason that he collapsed so often during the night from sheer exhaustion.) And it was long time that he rested, so he sat, just his thoughts and him.

    Pardon my tardiness, I have had family over and havent been able to get online till today...

    Name: Hakita

    Gender:Female

    Age: 17

    Village: Sunagakure(The Village Hidden in the Sand)

    Appearance: Hakita has long straight brown hair that goes to about her shoulder-blades. Her eyes are Hazel and she is very light-skinned. She is also quite tall, standing at 6 ft even. Now, imagine Temari's outfit in the later years. Hakita's outfit is similay to this, a white tunic with beige/sand colored sash wrapped around her waist. She wears Beige Sandaru(sandels) and Beige Arm-guards. She also carries a large White Fan on her back which she uses for her attacks. She wears her sash/Village Plate on her forehead.

    Personality: Hakita is a very uptight Kunoichi, she likes everything to be done right, so most of the time she ends up doing it herself. Her fellow Ninja often think her a Nag, as she constantly lectures about the correct methods of approach. In a fight, she is determined to get things overwith quickly and correctly, so many dont challenge her...inside her village anyway.

    History: Hakita, the daughter of 2 elite Jonin's in Sunagakure, grew up learning the ways of a Kunoichi. She was very studious, and has always tried to excel in everything she does. Hakita's father was related to Baki, the trainer of Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro, so she often received training on-the-side, and in turn developed in the same respect as Temari, who she really idolized. In an effort to impress not only her family, but the already Chunin Temari, she trained hard, and became a very respectable Genin in Sunagakure.

    Main Jutsu: Ninjutsu

    Special Abilities: Hakita has the ability to manipulate the wind using her fan. She has a Sickle-Wind jutsu which allows her to not only blow her opponent away, but also to slice them. She also uses this fan as a means of blocking oncoming attacks and as an actual weapon.

    Hobbies: Study study study...oh, and nag other ninjas in my squad about the proper techniques of moves. Also really enjoys missions, as she can apply her knowledge.

    Relations: Is part of the same Genin team as Seikou(one of her favorite people to nag...)

    Other: Hakitas biggest weakness is perfection. If another ninja comes along who she just cant correct, she goes ballistic.

    Weapon: As fore-mentioned, she carries a large white fan on her back that she uses for most of her attacks.

    [b]Hakita[b]
    Genin/F/Travelling with partner
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
    With Seikou at her side, Hakita arrived outside the gateway of Shikou Academy, her thoughts resting not only on what lied ahead, but on what was left behind...her fellow Genin teammate. She could only think..."If he had listened to what I constantly told him!"
    But now, as the gate reached her eyes, she exhaled a sigh of relief, they had reached it at last...
    Staring at the massive wooden doors, she wasnt that impressed....yet.
    "Come on...." she said to Seikou.
    They approached the gate, and almost immediately were greeted by a male Jounin, obviously very powerful...
    "Welcome sand ninjas....I am Ookami Outai, an instructor here at Shikou Academy, and this," he said motioning to another Jounin female that had appeared at his side, "is Miharu Kuroda, another teacher here at the academy...now, please state your names...as you are obviously from Sand..."
    "Hakita, sir, Kunoichi of Sunagakure...."I bowed slowly to him, not wanting to go too far...
    "Seikou..." he said, casually waving with a flick of the wrist...I scoffed at him.
    "Ah yes, welcome...now if you would each take a paper from this bin..."
    I watched as Seikou pulled one out and looked at it. Then the bin was offered to me and I took out a paper, opening it to reveal the number 1.
    "Each of these papers pertains to your housing while you are here at Shikou Academy...now, if you'll just follow go inside, and await the remaining Ninja..."
    Upon second look, the Jounin were once gain gone, so I glanced at Seikou, not only to see what number he had on his paper, but to see what he thought of our new school...
    [color=lightblue]Name: Horie, Takuto
    Gender: Male
    Age: 14
    Village: Mist
    Appearance: With messy black hair and a frame that is easily above five foot, Takuto doesn’t look like a mean 13 year old boy. Yet his looks can be deceiving. He has very very pale blue eyes that can strike people off guard when they first see them. He wears a black vest with a gray t-shirt on underneath it, he wears his armband on his left arm, and wears baggy shorts with deep pockets to which he keeps his gear in. He wears sandals also with out any socks.
    Personality: Takuto can basically be summed up in one word: Ass. He is an ass most of the time and he knows it and exploits it. He doesn’t get along well with others and believes he knows best. When he does have the luck of being right he will never let you forget it, and if he is ever wrong. He will spin it in such a way to make it look like he was right all along.
    History: Hailing from the Hidden Village of the Mist, Takuto was raised and tutored by his parents in the art of Genjutsu, he never had the chance to really attend school with the other kids, and when asked why he couldn’t be normal. He was told that one-day he would be better then those kids. So in turn he grew up believing that he was better and knew better than others around him.
    Main Jutsu: Genjutsu
    Special Abilities: Kori Shinchu no Jutsu: A attack that can make your opponent run in circles as they think they are trying to reach their destintion but never reach it. AKA the Mario 64 Staircase attack. Using this he enjoys to frustrate and wear down his opponent as his major technique.
    Hobbies: He likes to tease people some of the time, but most of the time he likes to listen and remind people about their mistakes.
    Relations: Open
    Other:
    [color=lightblue] Takuto Horie
    [color=lightblue]~*~*~*~*~ Arriving ON TIME~*~*~*~*~
    [left][color=lightblue]Time was always a relevant thing, for someone that woke up in the evening, mid-day could be midnight. While at the same time, some one that woke up in the morning, then mid-day could be at noon. Someone that lived in a different time zone could have noon one hour a head of someone in another time zone. This was the excuse that I could use when I approached the gate. Of course they would question me on my tardiness, so I figured I would try something to get out of it, other than I had slept in.
    The two I met at the gate quickly berated me asking why I was late, and scolding me for not being prompt. Letting them get their little hissy fit out of their system, I just waited until finally the gates opened. “Really? Why are you late?” One asked, after asking me about the tournament. I glanced at her out of the side of my eye as we walked toward a area where other Genin were waiting.
    Not even turning my head to acknowledge her I continued to walk toward the awaiting Genin who were starting to give me stares. “Sorry, I overslept.” Talking with such a sarcastic tone that left them wondering if I had told them the truth, or just being rude. Walking over to meet a pretty girl, about my age, I stood next to her and leaned my head over as the two oldies started talking. “It was a late night last night, lots of drinking and sleazy women.” I added, finishing my excuse. She gave me a roll of her eyes as we awaited the two older ones to finish their speech.
    Eventually the two finished their speeches, and the crowd began to disperse to go to either explore the complex or get settled into the house numbers they were given. A number that I had yet to receive, so either they wanted me to sleep outside, or I would have to go and ask for it. “So, who am I supposed to beat up to get one of those slips of paper?” I asked, walking softly toward Miharu.
    She turned to face me, with a cocked eyebrow, she gave me a quick once over glance before handing me a piece of paper. “Are you always this much of a ass?” She asked, I took a quick glance at the paper before glancing back up at her.
    “No, but lucky for you, I’m in good spirits.” I smiled, twisting what Ookami back around and using it on her fellow professor. With out a single extra comment I quickly walked away, intent on finding my new residents.
    Name: Shiro Tono (english order)
    Gender: Male
    Age: 16
    Village: Konoha, Hidden Leaf
    Appearance: Standing at 5'6", the most immediately noticeable fact is that he wears his headband over both of his eyes, like a blindfold. Beyond that, his hair is black and goes all the way to his waist, he wears a light grey shirt with a brown overshirt, as well as slightly baggy brown pants. His eyes, beneath the headband, are black, and almost disturbing to look at. He usually carries a neutral expression.
    Personality: He is above all else, a calm individual, not letting himself be consumed by enthusiasm or other emotions. He is not unkind, but in battle, no matter who the opponent is, he will face them with full intent to kill unless instructed otherwise. In a leadership position, he tries to be friendly, understanding, yet still impartial. He has a fondness for both cats and coffee.
    History: Shiro, born to the enigmatic Tono family, is blind, just like the rest of his family. However, the family itself holds no singular alliegence with any village, instead, each generation, they send one child with a guardian to each of the main villages with but one edict. When the time comes, they will all return to the family home and a series of duels will be instated to find which child is strongest, and thus, who the next head of the family will be. Shiro has been aware of this tradition for a long time, and it has shaped some of his additudes and dispositions. He has excelled at his genin duties and has studied many different forms of Ninjutsu, forging them into an eclectic but deadly mismash. When he was fourteen, his guardian, Miyu Aozaki died of a virulent disease, he's lived alone at home since. When he got the invitation, he gladly accepted.
    Main Jutsu: Ninjutsu
    Special Abilities: Bloodline Limit: Unseeing Eyes: Despite being blind, he is able to enhance his other senses to more than pick up the slack, giving him full 360 degree sense of his surroundings, as well as being able to sense exact details about his opponents, such as location, state of health, etc. It gives him an unnatural level of precision, and he can often catch people off guard. A more common application of this ability is using it to enhance his sense of touch to the point of being able to read normal writing by touching it.
    Hobbies: Making coffee and raising cats.
    Relations: He is widely known of throughout the village, and has many acquaintances, but those who have gotten close enough to manage true friendship are few.
    Other: One of his side goals is to definitively beat members of the Hyuuga clan, as well as create the ultimate form of coffee.
    Shiro Tono
    I smiled lightly as I walked down the road, no one was around, so there was no need to remain completely stone faced, and the smells, sounds and feel of the new area were rather invigorating. Others, even my own teammates back at the village, didn't fully understand why I didn't curse the fact I was born without sight. They didn't, couldn't understand the depths I was able to explore. The delicate aromas of flowers and plants, the beautiful songs of the whistling winds, the texture of a well worn doorknob, all were their own, tiny worlds to be explored. My blindness didn't trap me or cage me, it set me free.
    Even some of the everyday sensations, like the weight of the pack on my back, the slight ache from walking, and the feeling of my head protector over my useless eyes were a source of exploration, as they were subtly different every time. I chuckled a bit, remembering how everyone thought my so called obsession with coffee was wierd. Just another point of sensing something they could not.
    Though, it would not be a lie to wonder what it was like to see. What did blue look like? Or Red? And why did they clash when it came to clothes? One of his teammates had been fond of watching the sunset, yet I would never see its glory. Perhaps, it was a sort of balance, I could experience things others could not, yet... I couldn't experience some things people took completely for granted. Somewhat poetic, that.
    I got out of my reverie as I heard voices up ahead, and sensed a sign nearby. I was here, the place that had such a reputation, that even I felt a tad intimidated, but I had no time for doubts, and silenced the tiny protestations deep in my mind. I would do my best, and, hopefully, pull through. But, that was for the future, this was now. I walked up to the front, being greeted by the two people waiting at the gates.
    "Welcome, I am Kuroda Miharu and this is my co-worker Outai Ookami. Welcome to the Shikou Academy! May I ask your name?" The female of the two asked
    I nodded, replying, "Shiro, of the Tono clan. It is an honor to be here."
    "Pleased to meet you, Shiro. If you don't mind me asking, are you really..." She began to ask.
    "Blind? Yes, I am. And no, I don't mind you asking, I'm used to it," I replied, "Now, I take it you are going to take me on a tour of the place?"
    I patiently went through the tour, and got a piece of paper at the end, feeling the number four that was written on it with ink. "Interesting." I muttered to myself, before pulling out and setting up my portable stove to start making a cup of coffee.
    The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go.
    What was, what will be, and what is may yet fall under the Shadow
    Let the dragon once again ride on the winds of time.
    OOC: Yeah, I agree...this is the first RPG I've signed up for in a long time, and I'd hate to see it die...That said...short post.
    Hado/M/Shikou Academy Gates
    “If you want to talk, need counseling, want a home-cooked meal or training advice… you can stop by my house any time.” Miharu walked towards the edge of the platform and bent over, pointing at one of the spots on the map. “My house is here. If you want to ask Ookami any questions or want his advice or help in training, his house is here.” She pointed to his house, which caused Ookami to lower the book yet again and give a rather agitated look. He then finally stood up and lowered the book completely, giving a firmer nod.
    “That is all we have to say to you for now. There are maps of Shikou in each house hold… so be off.”
    The two instructors disappeared, leaving the group of Genin alone. Hado surveyed the group, swiping a few beads of sweat away from his chin. Each person looked entirely different from the next- a mixed bag of Shinobi from several different villages. Some were companions, grouped in two's and staying close to each other. The loners were more obvious, choosing to look apathetic and disinterested.
    Hado sighed. What was most distressing was the fact that so many of the Shinobi looked so young- not even sixteen years old yet! For a Shinobi, youth was often synonomous with skill. Being one of the oldest, the others might think him a pushover, barely capable of the simplest skills.
    Don't think like that. This is Shikou Academy- they don't let anyone in. Besides, it's better to be underestimated.
    Feeling better, he approached the sign that Miharu had pointed to, checking the number on his slip of paper. 3. According to the map....his house was located in the southwest of the village, near a small forest. He looked further north, going over the places where the instructor had marked. Of the two...Miharu seemed more approachable over things like training...yet Ookami was intriguing, and doubtless had many things to teach as well.
    First, he would head to his house, and check things out...then he would see about finding one of the instructors. He set off in a southerly direction.
    As he walked, he practiced his hands signs.
    "Horse, rat, boar..." he muttered, performing each seal in turn. Then he scratched his head. "No..that's not right..."
    Mashahiro's eyes snapped open, others had arrived and he supposed that he should be getting himself settled into his room. Sheathing his Kodachi, he stood. He took a moment to observe the rest that had arrived, all of them looked skillful and, despite his calming rest, doubt began to creep into his mind once again.
    Drop it for now, you can worry all you want later. Get moved in first.
    Listening to his own advice, Mashahiro quickly departed the meeting square, he would get to know his fellow applicants soon enough, and searched around until he spotted the number four residence. It wasn't a bad place, a simple house big enough for four people to live rather comfortably. Opening the sliding wooden door, he spotted a covered pile sitting directly in the middle of the entryway: his weapons. The sight brought a smile to the youth's face for the first time since he had arrived at the Shikou Academy. Closing the door behind him with a soft clack, he waked over and threw off the sheet that had covered his collection. Steel glimmered in the candlelight that illuminated the house. On the floor sat numerous racks, each filled with a variety of weapons: daggers, long and short swords, staves of differing lengths, katal, even a long naginata. Choosing the closest room, Mashahiro began to arrange his weaponry in such a way that it was accessable yet not blocking his movements through his room. Using the wooden frame of the house, he attached as many racks as he could to the wall (including the one holding his naginata which he affixed over his bed). Quickly, all that remained in the entryway was a single daisho; set.
    Why did he give it to me?
    Sitting down before the daishō, Mashahiro closed his eyes once again, obviously these weapons meant something more to him than the rest.
    How does he believe that I will be the one to draw them? So many expectations...and yet I am still plagued by my doubts. Why do I doubt myself when others do not? Why am I expected to be the one that will draw the Ketteiteki Tansen?
    (For those who don't know Japanese (or who are too lazy to use a translator like I did) a daisho is what a katana and wakizashi are called when they are paired in a set as they usually are. Ketteiteki tansen translates roughly as "Final Edge". Cheesy yeah, but I liked how it sounded)
    [c]Hakita
    Genin/F/Sunagakure/At Shikou Academy
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Hakita, having just realized her partner and herself would not be sleeping in the same area, realized this would be a challenge for herself, to enter and graduate this most prestigious and difficult "Academy", she would automatically become and Jounin, an elite ninja, recognized by her whole village...

    This also meant something esle for her now, even though Hakita dn Seikou entered as teammates, they would probably leave as solitary ninja...though from the same village, elite in their own respects...individuals...

    She looked around to see several ninja heading off in different directions, most likely heading towards their lodgings...Not a bad idea, she thought...

    Hakita glanced at the map that had been given to her from the start, searching for some sign as to not only where she was headed, but where the others were...

    One male ninja headed off in a southernly direction from their location...Hakita glanced at her map, to see that this was not the direction of her cabin, she was towards the westerm end of the academy...

    "Im gonna go check out where Im staying...I'd suggest you do the same..."

    "Hmmm? Whatever..." said Seikou...

    "This isnt the place to slack off Seikou! You either make it here or bust...you make it here or your going through the whole process of becoming an elite ninja, the chunin exams and so forth, you might not make it for another 10 years!!! This is the chance, it is right here in our faces, dont slack off now!"

    "Whoa whoa, back off Hakita...geez, sometimes you get a little bit too serious about things..." and then heshot off in a northbound direction...

    It seems i may have finally gotten to him, at least he took my advice, she thought...

    With that, she shot off in her own direction, westward, towards the #1 cabin...

    When she reached it, it was baren, a tree here and there, but mostly a clearing...

    "Perfect"...

    She approached the door and entered...

    Apparently nobody else had been here, as the cabin was empty, and still quite tidy, save the a large mass covered in a sheet in the center...steel glistening out of one side...

    "Weapons?" she thought, "wonderful, but i only really need this..." she said, grasping the large fan on her back...

    She selected her "room" and made herself comfortable with her surroundings, knowing she would be here for quite a while...

    (OOC: The weapons in #4 were actually Mashahiro's collection, not just a big pile of weapons left there for people to pick and choose from. Don't know if that's what you were thinking or if the other pile's something different but I thought I'd mention it.)

    OOC: Ill grant you that fact, but i gotta figure the rest of the crowd in my cabin(unlike myself) carries some kind of weaponry...so ill jsut leave it for now, something'll come out of it i suppose, and if not, it'll be ignored,lol...that is supposing some of the inactives drop by and i actually get somebody else in my cabin...
