Arena: A grassy circular field surrounded by trees. There is a flock of pidgey resting in the trees. As long as you leave them alone, they won't bother you. However if you disturb the pidgey that are resting in the trees they could swoop down and deal 5% damage. Weather moves will work.

Start this battle by Focusing your Energy (I vaguely remember a episode of the anime where tihs helped lessen confusion) Tyranno, then Create a huge Twister to wipe out all those clones and help us find the real Riken. Finish up with a Flamethrower to Melt the Ice.

Apologies for taking so long.

The ref stood looking over the field. It was a fairly large clearing surrounded by trees. In those trees one could hear pidgeys chirping even if you couldn’t see them. The sun was out and a gentle breeze was blowing. It was a perfect day for a pokemon battle. All that was missing were the challengers. Luckily, the ref wasn’t disappointed. Soon she heard the footsteps of two other people approaching. Upon arriving they shook hands before heading to opposite ends of the field. When both battlers were situated, the first released his pokemon. Out of the first battler’s pokeball emerged a small blue dragon with a bony head covering. “Bagon!” he called. Out of the opposing trainer’s pokeball the small purple poison pin pokemon emerged. “Nidoran!” he shouted. Both pokemon were ready to go.

Riken the male : 100% Ready to battle

Deus Theios: Start this battle by Focusing your Energy Tyranno, then Create a huge Twister to wipe out all those clones and help us find the real Riken. Finish up with a Flamethrower to Melt the Ice.

Almost immediately, Riken began to hum an irritating sound. Meanwhile, Tyranno was trying to focus his energies. It was hard to concentrate with that racket going on, but somehow Tyranno managed to keep his senses but that was about it. Meanwhile, the pidgeys were also getting irritated from the noise. Finally one dive-bombed the nidoran and caused Riken to stop his annoying humming.

Taking the hint, Riken immediately set to work again. This time there was a brief flash of yellow before Tyranno was facing three opponents. Tyranno knew that only one of these was real and the rest were merely illusions. Tyranno was relieved that his trainer had a plan and he quickly complied with it. Inhaling deeply, the young dragon was summoning the draconic power buried inside him. When he exhaled, Tyranno released a huge funnel shaped mass of energy that shot forwards and sucked up all three of the nidorans. The two clones disappeared as the real Riken was tossed around inside until the twister dissipated.

Annoyed that his attacks haven’t so much as fazed his opponent, Riken now tries to strike Tyranno with a chilling blow. The air around the nidoran begins to get colder as one can see the nidoran male’s breath as he slowly prepares his attack. Meanwhile, the opposite is taking place on Tyranno’s side. The air around him is heating up and you can see steam flowing from his nostrils. As the tensions slowly builds the pidgeys suddenly go quiet. Finally both pokemon release their attacks. As the solid beam of ice collides with the stream of flames, the arena is suddenly enveloped with steam as the flames melt the ice before going on to heat the water. Even though nothing can be seen, both pokemon are somehow aware of the fact that their attacks pretty much canceled each other out.

Riken the male : 91% annoyed at Tyranno

Don't get cocky Tyranno, we're doing great so far but we need to really work still to pull this off

Start off the battle with Double Team to improve our dodge abilities, then Aerial ace him and finish up with a nice big Crunch...but if at anytime he uses a Ice move, just switch your attack and dodge it with a nice Dragon Dance.

I'll try to have teh next reffing up sometime this weekend. I had meant ot have it up yesterday unfortunately teh doctor gave me some cough medicine to go with my sinus infection that put me out like a light and i slept most of yesteday but i do plan on having it reffed before the weekend is up. ^^; i'll try to get it done as soon as i can.

The steam is slowly dissipating as the next round gets underway. Tyranno, wanting to keep the match in his favor closes his eyes in concentration. The small dragon briefly glows yellow before he opens his eyes to find that he has successfully created three clones. Across the field, the nidoran isn’t the least bit fazed. In fact, the pokemon’s eyes narrow as he inhales deeply before exhaling hundreds of tiny needles that hit all of the clones causing them to disappear before finally slamming into Tyranno.

Tyranno mutters something under his breath, but prepares his second attack. The bagon swings his head from side to side sending wisps of flying energy hurtling towards the poison pin pokemon. Riken, meanwhile, has bee concentrating on erecting a transparent shield close to his body. He continues concentrating on the reflective shield as the strips of flying energy head his way, and as soon as they breech the shield, the majority drop harmlessly to the ground though a couple do manage to reach him but the damage is slight. As soon as the aerial ace assault is over, Riken stops concentrating on the reflect shield, and it slowly fades away.

Now Tyranno is feeling what Riken had felt during the last round. Although annoyed that his attacks haven’t been as successful as he would have liked, Tyranno now rushes towards Riken his mouth wide open and glowing an eerie black color as his teeth crackle with dark energy. Riken also charges forwards aiming the horn on his head at Tyranno’s mouth. The distance slowly closes between the two charging pokemon when Riken swings his head upward as his horn goes inside Tyranno’s mouth and pierces the roof of it. Tyranno releases a roar of pain. Once his attack is over, Riken removes his horn from inside Tyranno’s mouth. Though in pain, Tyranno makes the most of the opportunity and even though it hurts he crunches down on the nidoran dealing a fair amount of damage even though it would have done more had his mouth not been hurt.

Tyranno the male : 89% annoyed, mouth hurts and bleeding

Riken the male : 85% feeling pleased with himself

The steam is almost gone from the arena.

Deus Theios: Okay Bagon...I warned you about Cockiness. Start off by Dragon Danc(e)ing to the side to avoid the Toxic, Then Dragon Breath the little Pin's legs when it tries to kick you...Finish up with a Flamethrower.

As the last traces of steam slowly dissipate into the air, the pidgey’s begin chirping excitedly again. Tyranno is glaring at Riken who has a pleased smile on his face. The two pokemon continue to stare at each other, neither wanting to make the first move. Finally, after what seems like ages, Riken charges forward and spits a vile tasting glob of poisonous goo at Tyranno. The bagon, who had been expecting this, nimbly danced to the side performing an intricate series of steps that had been passed down to him from his ancestors. As Tyranno finished his dance, he felt his speed increases.

Riken, snarling because he was furious that his attack was so easily avoided, charged forwards again, but once more the wily bagon was ready for him. As soon as the nidoran wheeled around, ready to kick out with his hind legs, the bagon opened his mouth and released a stream of terrible smelling draconic flames as his eyes watered from the pain going through his mouth. Despite the tingling sensation, which left his back end feeling like it was asleep, the nidoran gritted his teeth and struck out with his hind legs connecting not once but twice with the bagon.

As Riken was turning around, Tyranno tried to put some distance between the two of them. He hadn’t gotten very far when the spunky little nidoran turned around and began concentrating on forming a beam of freezing energy. As the purple pin pokemon focused, the bagon was powering up his flame sacs in his mouth all the while trying his best to ignore the pain in his mouth but having a hard time doing so, especially when he is told to use attacks that involve his mouth. Finally Riken launches his frosty ice beam, and Tyranno attempts the same strategy that worked for him earlier. Unfortunately, do to his mouth energy he is only able to melt about half of the ice beam before the pain comes too intense for him to ignore and he stops his attack and a few seconds later the last half of the ice beam plowed into him dealing a fair amount of damage but not as much as it would have done if it had been at full strength.

Tyranno the male : 73% annoyed, mouth hurts but is no longer bleeding, speed increased

Riken the male : 75% frustrated, rear end is numb.

Okay...you should be fast enough to strike first Tyranno...so here's the plan

Start things off with a good Head-Butt to cause him to flinch, then while your still close Dragon Claw him...finish things up with a Twister.

I'm so sorry about the delay, but my online courses hit me with a lot of work due in a little amount of time but i'm going to try and have the reffing done soon. My apologies, but i had to do my class work.

Finally got the time to write some. Sorry for the long delay, just glad that I got it done and the semester is almost over. I still have a quiz, a discussion question, and a transcription report due on Monday though.

As the next round comes to a start, both pokemon have taken their share of punishment. Tyranno, faster starts to run forwards, but shortly before he would have ducked his head, something caught his eye. It was Riken’s horn. It had started to spin! Immediately aware of the potential seriousness if the attack hit, Tyranno decided to ignore his trainer’s command for the first time this match. Riken groaned at this but continued to charge forwards in an attempt to try and stab the now wise bagon with his horn. However as Riken made it about halfway to the bagon, which was now trying to keep as much distance between the two of them, he suddenly stumbled as his numb rear end caused him to stumble.

Snarling and cursing to himself, the nidoran climbed to his feet. Though the first set of attacks didn’t go exactly has he had planned, he would get his revenge and that thought made him smile. Riken watched as Tyranno walked up to him, his claws glowing with draconic energy. Riken didn’t even flinch as the bagon brought his claws down across the side of Riken’s face. However, before the bagon could put any distance between the two of them, he suddenly found himself covered in a disgusting toxic goo that quickly seeped into his bloodstream.

Roaring in anger, Tyranno began whipping up a powerful wind storm. The powerful funnel cloud of wind slammed into the nidoran who took the twister rather patiently. Of course, it hurt. However, when the twister died down, the air around Riken began to get chilly. Tyranno quickly became very aware that fact. Soon it wasn’t just the wind but also snow and ice that was pelting him and some of the sharp bits of ice were cutting him. Tyranno gasped but did his best to endure the icy attack.

Tyranno the male : 48% mouth still hurts, badly poisoned (2% next round), chilled from the cold and slightly slower

Riken the male : 59% frustrated, rear end is slightly less numb.

Confuse the beast with Swagger and tag him with Ice Beam to get some freeze going on. End it out with Take Down if hes frozen, another Ice Beam if he is not.
