omgwtf capture for Ash (and Grand Festival results)

I haven't posted here in forever, but it seems in the latest episode Ash caught an Aipom, which he's actually been working three episodes to get.


And this time May BEAT Drew but came in second. Talk about a change.

Omg aipom. Why? What can it do? Also, wow may was 2nd overall?! They really need to get rid of brock and max. They suck. Munchlax sucks.

Looks like Saori won the GF and she also has Butterfree and Pidgeot, as well as Lapras (OMGZ ASH CLONE) and Slowbro (nevermind). Saori is the robert-esque character of this grand festival. Squirtle knocked Flygon out and Combusken learned overheat to help take down Absol.

Hopefully Aipom barfs off in the filler episode next called "Aipom and the King!"

Second? I thought she lost in the Semis? *imagines the bracket* Oh god, I think there were 3 tiers! No wonder she was crying!

And Aipom is cute. With Glalie having lost the Eddie G-like personality upon evolution, Aipom's the next best thing IMO(for once, not having an evolution helps). Stop shooting the poor thing down.

As for May; Squirtle shows character development by beating Drew's Flygon with its Ice Beam(remember when it got beat down by Flygon before?), while Combusken learns Overheat *everyone groans* but it's a gigantic fireball of DEATH. Yay for originality!

Scott shows up right after Ash catches Aipom, telling him where the current Battle Pyramid location is--a ruin in the depths of the Indigo Plateau. They'll get there in 4/5 eps. I'm thinking Ash's losing again...he's facing a Registeel. Regice coming up is definitely a possibility.

According to the summary he battles Nurse Joy as practice for Brandon. Now that sounds good! Aipom also gets pawned by Weavile in an upcoming ep.

And Katie: After watching the GF eps...or two anyway....I'm growing fond of Aipom.

Like I've been telling everyone these days--inferior stats don't matter in the animé. Especially when it comes to Pokémon like Aipom. For the haters out there, YOU come up with a Poké for Ash's 6th slot out of the 300 or so Pokémon the twerps haven't already caught and not Legendary.

In all honesty he should have used an Oakmon in his 6th slot. Why catch new Pokemon when Cyndaquil is rotting away? But Aipom should do something interesting in D/P.

Yeah, Ash has never had a Psychic Pokémon, not even a mixed-type one.
