Round 1 dealt with double battles. Round 2 dealt with the unknown. Now Round 3 of the ASB Tournament will be relatively simple in comparison. You will have an official 2-2 match with your opponent.

Oh! Dear! I thought it was a double battle!

Wheezing! Let's start off by covering the clampy endings of Cloyster with a sludge Bomb! Then use a Thunderbolt to deal some damage and finish off by using a Psywave!

Right Tyrus, start off with a Rapid Spin to get out of the way of that Sludge Bomb. Follow it up with Withdraw, to get away from that Thunderbolt. Finish the round with a nice offensive Spike Cannon.

Round 1... begin!

The tournament is reaching a fevered pitch as we reach the semi-finals. This match pits the ever-interesting *cough* Andrew versus the... overlord of... weasels...? Weasel Overlord. The former tosses out a Pokeball, summoning his aptly named Weezing, OzWheeze, to the field. Weasel smirks in response and hurls out a Pokeball as well, revealing for the audience a sinister-looking Cloyster, floating menacingly in the tank prepared especially for such occasions. They both receive their commands and the battle officially starts.
OzWheeze kicks things off by coughing and hacking (though not wheezing, oddly enough), eventually spitting up a disgusting ball of purple sludgy ooze. He hurls it in the direction of the tank, but Tyrus, according to his trainer's commands, closes his shell and begins to spin around really quickly, creating a mini-whirlpool in the tank. The Sludge Bomb hits Tyrus' shell and sizzles, but some of it gets deflected off by the spinning and lands in the water, contaminating Tyrus' water supply. As he stops spinning, Tyrus notes with some dismay that it's starting to hurt to breathe.
Pleased with his relative success, OzWheeze continues on the offensive. His heads contract slightly as the Weezing charges up, crackling with electricity. OzWheeze releases it, sending a bolt of lightning arcing through the sky. Sensing another incoming attack, Tyrus Withdraws into his shell, sealing himself off from the outside world. The lightning strikes the shell - some electricity is conducted through the shell, shocking Tyrus, while the rest is deflected into the water, leaving it charged. As Tyrus opens his shell, he receives a mild shock as the water discharges.
Scowling, Tyrus floats to the top of the tank and takes careful aim. He sets his sights on OzWheeze and focuses, firing off several pointy-tipped mini-spears at the Weezing. At the same time, OzWheeze fires off a wave of Psychic energy. The Psywave passes the spikes in mid-air, leaving the two attacks to collide with their respective targets.

Ok Wheezing, use a Poison Gas, but just below you, fast to avoid that cloyster. That should propell you out of the way! Like air from a balloon! Then, use a will-o-wisp to try and burn it as it's clamp/teleport combo fails and finish off with using a flamethrower to melt the ice!

Round 2... begin!

Both Pokemon are relatively fresh and ready for more action. As the audience cheers, Tyrus smirks at OzWheeze, who merely grumbles his name in response. Tyrus suddenly blinks out of existance, causing nary a ripple in the pool, while OzWheeze rememebrs his commands and spews out a thick cloud of poison gas, propelling him upward. Tyrus reappears in exactly the wrong place as he has no choice but to inhale the poison, which obviously poisons him.
OzWheeze chuckles from his point in the sky. Both heads spit out a small orb of blue fire, both of which combine and fall towards Tyrus. Tyrus, who can't exactly Clamp the Weezing, not being able to fly as he is, doesn't really have any means of dodging the attack, and so he merely takes the Will-o-Wisp, causing a burn. Tyrus scowls as he looks longingly at the tank - he'd really like some mobility about now.
However, his trainer tells him otherwise. Obeying commands, Tyrus forms a ball of ice at his mouth and fires it upwards, straight at OzWheeze. As the chilled beam flies through the air, it meets a similar attack coming from above: OzWheeze's own Flamethrower. The fire melts the ice, but since the Ice Beam, coming from an Ice Type, has more power behind it, the fire sputters out soon after the Ice Beam has dissipated. The result? Neither Pokemon feel the attack.

Right then. I can see us losing this, Tyrus baby, but never mind eh? For this round, I want you to start off with a Swagger. Distract Weezing from using that Sunny Day as well as confusing it! ^^ Follow it up with a Double Team, to avoid that Thunderbolt, then finish the round by closing your shell tight and using Blizzard to blow back the gas! However, if you can't do both closing your shell and Blizzard, just close yer shell tightly. The same goes for if Sunny Day wasn't stopped.

Round 3... begin!

Tyrus, frustrated because of his relative immobility on land (who am I kidding? He's a sitting duck!), fixes his sights on the source of his anger: his opponent, one OzWheeze. OzWheeze has closed his eyes, praying silently to the Powers What Is to hopefully brighten the sunlight considerably. However, he is jolted from his thoughts when Tyrus begins to spit out a series of insults, verbal jabs, and uncouth comments, most of which focus on the strength of OzWheeze, particularly in comparison to Tyrus. OzWheeze scowls, his mind suddenly filled with images of Tyrus getting hurt in several different and increasingly creative ways. Tyrus smiles, his Swagger having gone off without a hitch.
OzWheeze fumes and begins to crackle with electrical energy, a sign of the impending Thunderbolt. This alerts Tyrus to the incoming attack, and he immediately takes evasive maneuvers: focusing momentarily, Tyrus fans out into an array of 5 Cloyster overall, the Double Team successfully producing four clones. OzWheeze barely notices in his agitated state and fires off a powerful Thunderbolt; the electricity arcs through the air and strikes one of the Cloyster, dissipating it. the 4 other Tyruses grin as OzWheeze's anger fails to subside.
Tyrus, in yet another act of foresight, clamps his shell shut, effectively sealing himself off from the outside world. OzWheeze again fails to take notice of this and spews out a massive cloud of poison gas that completely obscures the two Pokemon from view. As the cloud disappears, it would seem that Tyrus has suffered no ill effects from the attack, although his clones vanished with the gas. OzWheeze scowls as the round ends.

Right Tyrus, this round, we'll go for some more offensive again! Start off with a Rain Dance, and then follow it up with a Water Pulse to send Ozweez flying! Finish the round with a Swift for some accurate goodness! However, if at any time, Weez tries to use Thunderbolt on you, I want you to Withdraw into the safety of your shell my dear. Those Thunder moves are just too mean for you to handle ><

Round 4... begin!

Pleased with his relative success, Tyrus once again moves first this round. Much like OzWheeze tried to do last round, Tyrus silently prays to the gods of the weather (Rainy McStormSun? I dunno). However, OzWheeze, under instructions to wait, fidgets a bit due to his frustration but does not attack, leaving Tyrus free to finish his prayer. Strom clouds billow over the staidum, and a massive downpour begins to empty on the heads of the combatants. OzWheeze grins slightly as his duel heads begin to crackle with a vicious electricity... Before Tyrus can realize what is going on, he is struck by a massive bolt of electricity, conducted expertly through the rain. OzWheeze laughs triumphantly as the lightning courses through Tyrus' body.
As Tyrus recovers from the attack, OzWheeze prepares to take evasive action... but one part of his brain whispers "Dude... that Tyrus insulted you! A lot! Doesn't he deserve to pay? What could be more painful to him than suffocating in a sea of smog?" This logic appeals to OzWheeze, and in his frustration, he redirects his Poison Gas, shooting it out forwards, surrounding Tyrus. However, Tyrus had apparently enough time to aim, as a glowing blue jet of water pierces the gas. The water, accompanied by a high-pitched noise, hits OzWheeze heavily, making his confusion worse.
However, OzWheeze manages to focus long enough to charge up another Thunder attack. Tyrus fires off a volley of big yellow stars that immediately home in on OzWheeze's location, but it isn't enough; OzWheeze's Thudner arcs across the rainy sky, zapping Tyrus severely.

Round 5... begin!

This battle's roughly halfway over: neither Pokemon looks too terribly tired, but Tyrus, upon hearing his commands, knows that this will be his last round. He faces OzWheeze with an air of complete finality. OzWheeze, on the other hand, not hearing Tyrus' orders, has no appreciation for the severity of the situation, and, mustering up what's left of his frustration, begins to viciously taunt the Cloyster as scathingly as he can. As the Weezing's two heads make all sorts of horribly insults, Tyrus scowls. The frustration and anger is beginning to set in on him, and he knows the only way he'll get close to OzWheeze in order to attack. Without a moment's hesitation, Tyrus blips out of existance momentarily, reappearing with an evil grin just above OzWheeze.
OzWheeze glances up, trying to get his bearings, as Tyrus falls down and Clamps hard onto the Weezing's lesser head, spinning the pair around in mid-air. OzWheeze closes the eyes on his main head and tries to focus, while his lesser head gets a very up-close-and-personal view of Tyrus' incredibly ticked-off face. Tyrus shuts his shell as hard as he can, prompting a squeal of pain from OzWheeze - the Clamp attack focuses most on the junction between the two heads, and it feels none too pleasant.
The lesser OzWheeze head gulps as Tyrus closes his eyes, a sardonic grin still on his face. The Weezing frantically tries to prepare a bolt of electricity, but it comes too late. With barely any warning, Tyrus explodes violently, sending OzWheeze flying through the air. Both Pokemon fall to the ground, obviously hurt. The difference, however, is that OzWheeze manages to slowly get back up, obviously in pain.

Ael, start the round with a Safeguard! Protect yourself from any poison that may come your way my dear. For your second move, you shall use an Extremespeed to take advantage of, well, your superior speed really. Then finish the round with another display of your speed and use an Aerial Ace. However, if that Weezing looks like it's going to explode, I want you to use an Extremespeed to get the hell out of there!

Round 6... begin!

With one side already down one Pokemon, this battle seems about half over. Weasel sends out her next Pokemon to replace the pile of ashes that formerly was a Cloyster: a majestic Arcanine takes the field and stares down OzWheeze. However, Ael does not attack yet, instead only choosing to cloak himself in a shimmering white veil. The veil disappears soon, but its effects will remain: for the time being, Ael is immune to status problems. Meanwhile, OzWheeze painfully floats off of the ground and into the air as far as he can.
Although he is in pain, OzWheeze can't help but grin as he watches Ael take a flying leap at him. The Arcanine zips across the field, his speed boosted by the attack's mystical properties. Ael comes close too touching OzWheeze, and the Weezing panics slightly. He aims downward and spits out a funnel of inky black smog, propelling himself further into the air.
Ael scowls. He realizes that OzWheeze is currently too high to touch with an Aerial Ace, and moreover, he doesn't really want to get into that cloud of smog. So he just sits there, glaring at OzWheeze, who in turn stares back, the cloud of smoke rapidly dissipating (helped along by the rain).

Round 7... begin!

OzWheeze, despite being incredibly tired, still manages to sneer arrogantly at his opponent, the grounded Ael. Ael scowls and bares his fangs, growling quietly and coming off as very intimidating - so intimidating, in fact, that the very weather seems to bend to his whim. The rain clouds roll back, revealing a bright, hot sun, as OzWheeze begins to realize exactly how much trouble he's in.
Ael, on the other hand, seems to appreciate the sun. He squints and takes aim at OzWheeze, who is casting a shadow on the Arcanine. With nary a moment of hesitation, Ael exhales a huge blast of fire straight up. OzWheeze tries to frantically propel himself out of the way, but his exhaustion works against him and he reacts too slowly. The Flamethrower scorches the unfortunate Weezing, leaving him coughing up soot.
OzWheeze scowls and tries to relax some more, but he is interrupted by a series of razor-sharp yellow shuriken. They batter him in succession, and, combined with the effects of the Flamethrower, knock him down to a more reasonable altitude.

Therefore, you should start off with another Swift, that way we definitely get some damage in. For your next move, I want you to use a Dragonbreath, followed by a last Swift.
However, if at any time he looks like he's about to explode, I want you to get the hell out of there with an Extremespeed, ok?

Round 8... begin!

Ael, being significantly less tired than his foe, jumps to perform his next attack: opening his maw wide, he fires a series of bright yellow stars that fly across the arena. OzWheeze scowls as the sharp projectiles pepper his skin. Instead of immediately counterattacking, however, OzWheeze merely closes his eyes and establishes a fragile mental link between him and Ael. Ael immediately begins to feel fatigued as his health is slowly sapped away from him... Of course, OzWheeze isn't faring much better, as his energy is decreasing at roughly the same rate.
Deciding to be proactive about it, Ael charges at OzWheeze and halts a few feet in front of him, exhaling a gout of greenish fire. It surrounds the Weezing, causing a rather rude awakening as OzWheeze's eyes jolt open and the mental link is broken. OzWheeze scowls yet again, but does nothing.
However, before Ael can complete his orders, OzWheeze begins to glow in a very unpleasant way... Ael takes a few halting steps backwards, but before he can register what's happening, OzWheeze self-destructs (not explodes!) violently, covering the arena with a bright white glow. When the light clears, Ael stands, bewildered and charred, in front of The Pile of Ashes Formerly Known as OzWheeze.

Okay Ael, let's not panic about the sudden influx of ground-type moves... Start the round off with an Odour Sleuth to eliminate that Substitute (hopefully it'll work) and work out who the real Stantler is. Follow it up with an Extremespeed to avoid that Extrasensory and attack at the same time, and finish up with a Protect to evade that nasty Earthquake.

Round 9... go!

OzWheeze having done his job, Andrew recalls his fallen Weezing. Almost immediately, he tosses out another Pokeball, this one containing an eager Stantler, who stares down the opposing Ael with no fear in his eyes. In fact, from Ael's perspective, that's all he does... The Arcanine stands, perplexed as, unbeknownst to him, OzStantler secretly slips away, an exact body double standing in his place. Ael hesitanttly sniffs the air around him, trying to decipher the real OzStantler, but as there is only one evident, Ael doesn't really gain any ground.
Ael shakes his head, trying to shake the nagging feeling that something is wrong, and begins to dash around the arena, almost faster than the eye can follow. OzStantler tries to take aim, but finds that he cannot; trying his best, the Stantler fires a beam of purple energy twards his foe. However, by the time the attack reaches that point, Ael is already gone. OzStantler watches, unseen, as Ael tackles the Substitute to the ground.
OzStantler grins regardless, knowing that Ael can't run away from his next attack... as Ael backs away and the Substitute magically rights itself, OzStantler slams his hooves into the ground, creating a massive shock wave. The Sbstitute mimics his movements, maing it look like the attack is coming from the double, but Ael sniffs haughtily. In the knick of time, a protective bubble wraps itself around Ael, leaving the Earthquake to pass on by.
