    Default .avi on a Mac

    Is there a better program than MPlayer for my mac that I can use to play .avi files? I'd love to just get WMP working, but I can't get the codecs I need. Any suggestions?

    I would recommend a program called VLC - Video Lan. It plays just about every type of movie file you can think of, and it's the best free video player program on the Mac I think. It's wayyy superior to WMP - which is rather clunky on my mac. Type "VLC Mac" into google, and you should find the download spot. It's free, too.
