Yeah, so, come at me. Nothing too serious, just looking for a bit of practice.

2 on 2 (I'll probably use evolutions- if that bothers you, then..)
DQ: A week
Banned Moves: Direct Recovery, Perish Song, Destiny Bond. Aut-Safeguard in effect (no status effects-from attract to poison)
Arena: I'll leave it up to the challenger- if you need water, include a pond.

Arena Deception: A farley large Spanish Gallon that has severed my family for generations on many a treasure hunt on the high seas, the upper deck is basically a wooden floor arena with the sea as the terrain edge the only thing is there is a the mass with the sails and crows nest in the middle of it. To the back of the gallon is the Captain’s courts.

Ok then, good Chan, let's get this started.

Rain Dance first, fitting for a Pirate ship. Follow up with a flurry of Ice Punches to try and freeze water and feathers into ice. If Leeks flies up of range, use Sky Uppercut to try and knock him down.

round 1 Avast me mateys, gather ye around for a blastingly guid fight! The scum beasts begin their dance of death on this her’ wuiden platform, arrrr we shall see who’d be the stronger. (fake pirate dude is kicked off the ship as the real ref takes her place. “Now, where were we?”

The manlike creature moves first, summoning great storm clouds, heavy with the promise of rain. The bird concentrates too, and the sun attempts desperately to tear through the clouds with its penetrating rays – a great contest of wills for the battlers below. However, in the end, none win, leaving the weather overcast, with a few sulky rays of sunlight dancing around.

Fisticuffs dashes forward, ice crystals glittering brilliantly on his left fist under the dull illumination of the sun. Leeks attempts to retaliate, but to his horror, finds that there is no mud anywhere! In a confused panic, he is not ready for the first ice punch that slams into his stomach, icing up a few feathers. Forced into inaction, he braces himself for the next inevitable attack which knocks him off his feet.

The Hitmonchan is grinning, undoubtedly amused by the results of this round.

1. Mud Slap is kinda impossible right now, poor thing can’t even find a substitute for that on board this ship. Unless he wants to use rum – but the rum’s always gone.

Back to business...Fist, since he's taking the sky, push through those feathers with a Sky Uppercut. Next use Eye of the Tiger (Detect+Focus Punch) to hit Leeks hard without fail.

Leeks begins his pretty feather dance, tearing of his frozen feathers in the process, and unconsciously, Fisticuffs finds himself feeling a lot calmer and happier. Too bad for Leeks though, he still retains his killa instinct, punching the Farfetch’d hard enough to knock him into the air in a graceful arc but luckily for himself, Leeks prevents an ignominious fall by some hard flapping of his wings, landing heavily on the deck. Leeks readies a mini hurricane, while Fisticuffs settles down, preparing himself for a signature move, using his limited Psychic powers and acute observation skills. He is buffeted twice by strong winds, but then is finally ready, rushing forward with a glowing fist, hitting Leeks with deadly accuracy on the weak part of his chest, doing a massive amount of damage.

Fisticuffs darts in for a quick Mach Punch, which Leeks takes bravely, striking the fighting Pokemon back with one glowing wing.

The theme being “fast” for the day maybe, Fisticuffs uses Swift, barraging the bird with pointy little stars that do hurt. Leeks retaliates in exactly the same manner, striking his feathery wing down with a higher amount of force than usual.

Fist crackling with electricity, Fisticuffs bashes it into Leeks’ chest, knocking him onto his back. Cringing, Leeks gets back to his feet and glares at Fisticuffs, raising his wing for yet another aerial ace, smacking Fisticuffs on his arm.

Leeks begins a beautifully intricate dance, whirling around in endless circles, but Fisticuffs, the muscleman, has little interest in such art and skill, and charges forward roughly, the little vortex created by the sword dance meaningless to him, and slams Leeks roughly on as outstretched wing. Leeks immediately crashes to the ground, his balance lost, but he has managed to avoid confusion. Fisticuffs slams his crackling fistful of electricity down onto the bird, but Leeks bears it bravely. He flails around wildly, catching Fisticuffs lightly on a leg, but the Hitmonchan has soon made his way far away.

ref’s notes:
Fisticuffs' attack power is down one, and Leeks endured the thunderpunch, so damage was much lowered.

Fisticuffs bulks up, feeling a rush of satisfaction as he feels his physical strength grow, while Leeks probes his opponent’s mind, entering into the same confident state of mind. Fisticuffs, flexing his muscles, moves forward, slamming his icy fist into Leeks, ignoring the faint, glowing aura that surrounds the Farfethch’d. He ignores the vague feeling of apprehension that runs briefly through his mind. Fist crackling with electricity, he attempts the second, repetitive attack, scoring onto Leeks, who can bear no longer, and waves of electricity laced with ice knock into the Hitmonchan, stunning him. When the sparks have cleared out of his eyes, he sees his opponent, fainted before him.

Withdrawing the knocked out Leeks, his trainer sends out the grim sounding Macabre, who turns out to be a Shuppet. Macabre grins, and spouts out what sounds like found sounding gibberish, but evidently, it means something to Fisticuffs, who seems rather enraged. He runs carelessly forward, swinging his fist that glitters with Ice Crystals wildly. Due to his impetuous rush, he misses, and Macabre enters into his body. A struggle can be seen, Fisticuffs growling and raging as they battle within. Finally, Macabre is expelled, and hit hard with a Thunderpunch. Macabre curses Fisticuffs, draining him of his energy, as Fisticuffs droops, near exhaustion.
ref’s notes: 1. Based on feedback, I basically decided to ref possess my own way ^^
2. As you know, energy KO is not something I do. Fyi, the exhausted Pokemon will not be able to move for 1 round, and his later attacks will be weaker, and consume more energy.

Fisticuffs glows with an eerie black aura, and suddenly, he disappears to reappear right behind Shuppet, striking him down with some intense dark energy. He then collapses to the deck, exhausted beyond compare. Contemptously, Macabre throws Fisticuffs off with a huge splash, and hovers. Fisticuffs, limbs relaxed, manages to float a little below the water’s surface. Macabre performs the energy consuming Thunder twice, the water conducting the electricity, right towards Fisticuffs, whose only response is his wildly twitching limbs as he slowly sinks down, in a dead faint.

ref’s notes: 1. I had some trouble deciding if Pursuit or Psychic should go first, but I know that Shuppet has abysmal speed, so Pursuit first.

The sinking Fisticuffs is immediately recalled by his trainer, who releases a little yellow mouse who glances up at her opponent with the most cutesy look imaginable, but of course, it is wasted on Shuppet, who has long been dead to such pleasures as enjoying something adorable.

A pretty, faint yellow aura glows around Kipa. Grinning, Macabre tosses a ball of dark purple with faint red lines pulsating across it at the Pichu. It passes through Kipa’s yellow aura with zero resistance and explodes, dealing heavy cell damage, as Kipa squeals in pain. For some reason, the yellow aura is darkening. Macabre is entertained, and gladly throws another dark ball, enjoying Pichu’s high pitched wailing from the pain. Finally, for the third time, he grins as he tosses the last ball at the seemingly unresisting Pichu – who doubles over, ears drooping. Suddenly, as Macabre is enjoying his victory, he is hit by pulse after pulse of Ghostly energy, dark tinged with red streaks. Shocked, and in a strange excruciating ghostly pain, Macabre looks up to see his opponent smiling charmingly at him, despite the tears in her eyes from the pain she has endured.

Not over yet though. Use Surf to splash that ghost about nice and proper, then shock him with Thunderbolt. Finish with Iron Tail.

If for some reason Surf can't be used, use Charm instead.

Concentrating very hard, Kipa manages to raise a small bathtub amount of water, dropping it with a big splash on Macabre. He glares at her malevolently, and curses her deeply. She feels an increased tiredness, strange since she was feeling so fresh and happy earlier. However, she continues on, summoning down a bolt of lightning that crashes down onto the ship, but is deflected just before reaching Macabre, striking the deck of the boat instead, fizzling up in the water left behind from the surf earlier. While this is going on, Kipa has already moved nearer, striking down with her puny but reinforced tail as hard as she can. Suddenly, she is lifted off her feet and tossed unceremoniously into the water. She sinks at first but surfaces, treading water instead, keeping her head above water.

ref’s notes: 1. Evil but simple strategy from Charles this round. Tsk tsk. Repeating the same thing. ^^
2. Did you know that the baby Pichu’s speed is still faster than Shuppet’s? o.o
3. It seems that no actual damage was inflicted onto Kipa, as the Psychic merely threw her into the water, but there was the impact to be considered, so she lost a little hp.

Kipa, duck below the water for about ten seconds so that you don't hear any of the Shuppet's insults. Next, use Surf after his rain dance to attack him and get back onto the ship- his attack should help you out. Finally, use Thunder Wave. If you're taunted, use Toxic- since it takes HP away, it should be allowed (going by the attack list, anyway).

Macabre floats happily down above the water’s surface, all the while calling out evil sounding taunts to his dainty opponent. However, his effort is wasted, as Kipa has already taken a deep breath and ducked underwater, deaf to whatever he’s saying. Bored, he calls clouds and rain, and soon, rain starts to fall. Kipa is concentrating hard, and her effort is rewarded when she is moved along with a large body of water back to the ship, incidentally splashing Macabre on their journey back. Once her feet are back on relatively solid ground, she sends out some paralysing waves of electricity to the ghost that is still hovering above the water’s surface. He endures them, but since they don’t do damage anyway, there is no effect at all.
