Not me, sadly, I have been out of work for nearly a year due to me having a nervous breakdown of sorts and fainting in my home. Dang.

The only reason I have been able to moderate (by moderate I mean visit since you all do a good job of staying in line) here as much as I do is because I am allowed to surf the internet at my leisure at work. So, yes, I do work, but I don't do much work.

I'm thinking about quitting. They're giving some other guy schedule preference over me.
1. I was there a month and a half before he was.
2. I'm a better worker (I've gotten two raises, he's gotten none.)
3. Our availabilities are the same.
4. He's always late. He even got fired once and then rehired with an apology! Appearantly the boss felt bad for him.
5. I'm trusted enough to open the place before (we work at a deli) all by myself. He's never opened.

And yet.. he 5 days a week, I get 3. Pretty much, what it comes down to is,
6. The person that makes the schedule is his best buddy.

Yeah I work....in retail. Its a sucky job, but at the time I couldnt really find a better job. I've been there for almost a year and I'll probably go on leave in about a month cause I'm going to college. Right now my mom doesnt want me working and going to college at the same time until I adjust to it. So...I'll probably be back just in time for the christmas rush again. that really sucked last year haha.

I wish there was a job out there that I could enjoy doing..... but its not now

I don't work at the moment...well, I'm a live-in babysitter for my 7yo brother...I get paid really well...but I have no life, and it's ending anyway for financial reasons...I want a job in a pharmacy if I can get another one.
I'm going to college for my doctorate in Pharmacy, and I've held pretty good jobs so far, and I have enjoyed them all!!

Restaurant Depot - Think Home Depot, but for businesses that sell food, and buy majorly in bulk for supplies

Genovese/Eckerd - I loved the pharmacy, and would pull double shift days working the front when people called in sick, I did tech work although I wasn't trained as one, lol

Aid Auto - Car part store, not horrible, paid well, I had a lot of fun there

Sal's Pizza - paid well, always on time, great perks, like free pizza, and soda...MMMMMMMMMMMM, nothing like NY pizza

Domino's Pizza - Ahh, the fast food of pizza, lol...I made some money, great tips, saw some naked women, people are so weird when you deliver their food, LOL

Yeah, ive been working for about a year at the place where im at...a candy store...sweet!

LOL, im leaving for college in another month so ill have to say bye, but the owners there(its a small store) have already told me they dont plan on hiring anyone else and that i always have a job there....

thats....comforting....should all else fail, return to the candy store...

I work full time as a day camp counselor for 5-12 year olds, and when it's the school year, it's an after-school program and I put in 20 hours because I'm also the copy editor for the college newspaper. I also have to write for said paper, and I have rehearsal for at least three hours every evening. Try being me for a week and see how fast you get wiped out. -_-

I'm a cashier for McDonald's but it's not as bad as people think it is. I get a free meal each shift and I good at taking orders so I'm efficient in what I have to do

I worked at a Commisary as a bagger for a month or two. Made about 50$ a day(Tips Only), that was alright cash for a 14 year old.

I work in procurement of oilfield equipment and services. It's really a bothersome task right now, the workload's getting worse by the month and everything generally getting more and more complex.

I work in the medical field--rehab center/nursing home to be more specific. The pay is excellent, the benifits are ok--but are expensive, the paperwork sucks, the work is pretty reptitious, and some of the staff can be real asshats at times.

I'm thinking of taking myself down to the hospital to work. Even though I lose about $2.00 in pay, I gain it back due to experience, working nights and weekends, and the hospital gives raises for classes you attend.

During the summer, I intern at US Dept of Agriculture office in Annapolis, MD. Good money to basically sit around and do office work. During the rest of the year I'm just a college student.. I'm trying to get a job on campus this upcoming semester though.

haha yea, i work... i cut grass for the schools around my areas, and my employer is the school board lol. but i don't just cut grass, no. i edge and weedwhack, and in non-grass related settings i move stuff around to the various schools, like equipment and such. i have fun, the people i work with are cool, it may be 8 hours but it goes by fast and the pay is much[i] better then i'd find at any other summer job.

I just finished a free internship a few weeks ago. They are now paying me to stick around. I work on making spreadsheets and some minor webpage design stuff.

But I do have a part time job at a restaraunt 3 minutes away from my house (sweet) and I work as a busser and a host. Excellent pay imo, some of my co-workers work 5-6 days a week and are able to support themselves fairly well. Everyone knows how to party as well...

Yeah. My boss used to work at Domino's Pizza. All he does is say how great they are and all that....it's such a mood lifter. Did you know the guy who could make a pizza in 11 Seconds from dough to oven?

I think I'll quit but I'm not sure yet. Do you guys think I should?

I know that's kind of weird thing to ask, but I want an outsiders view on the subject. My mom says I shouldnt then she says that I should, *sigh* I'm not sure what I should do.
