Battle Royale! Dark Sage vs. Green Lanturn (ref needed)

I have a major open challenge to make to anyone who is interested. Here are the rules.

Pokemon: We use three, and we have all three out at once. However, because of this, for each round, each pokemon can only use two moves, rather than three. Once we have a ref, we PM our choices to him.

DQ Time: One Week

Disallowed Moves: Rest, Substitute, Receover, Perish Song, Destiny Bond, Toxic, Thunder Wave. I will listen if you want to disallow any others, but these are NOT allowed. If you insist on using any of them, I will not battle you. Simple.

Arena: Since it is a Battle Royale, we'll make it the top of Mt. Battle. For those who have not played Collosseum or the sequel, Mt. Battle is an enormous active volcano thousands of feet high. The top is an arena placed above the main crater... Only the best trainers can reach this point.

~*Round 1-Pre Battle*~
Dark Sage vs. Green Lanturn

Up high above the clouds, the atomosphere is pretty chilly. But the heat from Mt. Battle's molten lava is more than enough to warm the platform above it. Two trainers approached this arena from opposite ends. It was to be a three on three battle, so one can expect a lot of attacks flying around everywhere. Three PokeBalls were thrown up and out popped a jolly Ludicolo, a graceful Kirlia, and a sinister-looking Shiftry. This was Team Dark Sage.
Team Green Lanturn was represented by three smaller Pokemon - a cute Torchic, an even cuter Teddiursa, and an energetic-looking Bagon on. So the battle will be between a team of unevolved Pokemon vs. a team of evolved ones. There have been some pretty tough unevolved Pokemon in the past, so this battle can go any which way.

Okay team, let's make the hike up here worthwhile...

Remember, each pokemon uses only two attacks per round.

Venus, you take that Bagon. Start with Skill Swap. Try to gain one of its strengths and give it one of your weaknesses. Then hit it with Psychic.

Lily, you take the Torchic. First use Water Pulse, then Secret Power.

Oak, the Teddyursa is yours. Use Extrasensory, and then close in for a Brick Break.

Alright....btw AB, dont think i mentioned it, but Dimitri(bagon) is shiny...

Alright Dimitri, seeing as the Kirlia is going after you, lets give her a nice fight. Start things off with Sunny Day to help your partner, then launch a Secret Power at her.

Sorin, I want you to combat this water wth fire.....send forth a Flamethrower, aided by the sunny day from Dimitri. Then for a bit of fun, combat his secret power wit your own secret power.

And Otto....it seems he wants to mess with your mind.....dissapear with Faint Attack, smaking it from behind.....and when it comes in for the brick break, do it again....another faint attack!

With all six sets of commands given out, this triple battle was on its way. Special attacks seemed to be a theme this round. Venus moved first, gathering immense amounts of psychic energy to transfer abilities from herself to the opponent Bagon. While this happened, the green Bagon was surrounded in a bluish glow, but he could still move. The arena suddenly got a little hotter, thanks to Dimitri’s Sunny Day.
This was Sorin’s cue to attack. He spewed out a stream of flames just as Lily shot an orb of water at him. The Water Pulse instantly grew smaller as the sun evaporated some of it. Meanwhile, the powered-up Flamethrower blasted through what was left of it and hit the Ludicolo, scorching her up a bit.
The Shiftry and the Teddiursa faced each other. While Oak used his psychic ablities to attack the bear, Otto quickly vanished. Being surrounded in Dark energy, Oak cannot detect him with his psychic attack. The bear smacked into the Shiftry’s back and Oak stumbled forward before turning around to face his opponent.
The Kirlia’s move finished. The green helmet on her head became hard as rock, mimicking a Bagon’s hard head. This boosted her physical defense up a bit. Meanwhile, Dimitri got a Kirlia’s mental strength to use elemental attacks, which was a plus in that it boosted his special attack.

Suddenly, two beams of Normal energy collided in midair. Both Lily and Sorin released their attacks at the same time and the two beams wavered before creating an explosion that not only damaged the two users, but also did some damage to Venus and Dimitri who were standing near them.
Before the smoke even cleared, a blue blast of Psychic energy shot out and caught the Bagon off guard. The little dragon was knocked back several feet, but regained his stance. He also fired a Secret Power, hitting the Kirlia. Luckily for her, no status effects came into play.
Otto had some more fun with his opponent. The Shiftry rushed in with a leafy hand. He brought it down, but it hit nothing but the floor below him. Meanwhile, the bear jumped up and attacked the Shiftry’s back again with his Faint Attack.
Though a lot had happened this first round, all six combatants were still in great shape, but this will obviously soon change in the following rounds.

Dimitri, as we are still facing the Kirlia, give her a Scary Face, then smack her with a Fire Blast of epic proportions. Should she put you to sleep, use sleep talk.

Sorin, locked in epic battle against lily,start off with a swagger, then finish in flames with Flamethrower. Should she put you to sleep, Sleep Talk.

And dear Otto, fighting that blaste Shiftry, you shall have the most fun, double Metronome! Once again, should you be put to sleep, Sleep Talk.

Being a plant, Oak was really enjoying this sunny weather. He started the second round of this battle by shooting a blue beam of psychic energy at his opponent, the little teddy bear. This time, the attack was successful and the Teddiursa was knocked back by the attack. Otto got up, but uh-oh, his vision became obscured by that attack. Nonetheless, he waved two claws into the air. They started glowing blue for a second before Otto spewed out several bubbles. Oak chuckled as he barely even felt that pathetic Bubble attack.
Light on her feet, Venus was a bit faster than the Bagon and her eyes glowed red as sleep-induced waves emanated from them. Unfortunately for Dimitri, his first attack required him to stare directly at Venus and upon doing so, he fell into a deep sleep. But then he remembered what to do in such a situation. He rushed over to the Kirlia with an arm glowing with dragon energy, then gave her a powerful swipe with his Dragon Claw attack.
Lily wasn’t enjoying this weather too much as it hampered her water moves. But still, she started making copies of herself. Suddenly, she realized that the Torchic was making fun of her! How dare that chick insult a bigger opponent! Lily became furious and distracted from her attack. She only managed to make one clone.

While Lily and Sorin were battling, Oak had already finished charging up a Solarbeam and fired it at Otto. The Teddiursa was blasted across the arena and came dangerously close to the edge. Heart pounding, the bear rushed back to where he was and did another random attack. This time, it was much more effective. He unleashed a superheated blast of air and flames in the form of Heat Wave. It didn’t matter that Otto couldn’t see well since it was a wide-area attack and easily hit the Shiftry. It also managed to hit two combatants on both sides of Otto. Both Dimitri and Lily also felt the scorching fire move.
The unintentional damage from the fire move managed to wake the Bagon up. He knew what he had to do and gave the Kirlia a blazing hot Flamethrower. Venus was disappointed with Dimitri waking up, but nonetheless, blasted him with a powerful Psychic attack.
Finally, it was Sorin versus Lily. Sorin had a 50% chance of hitting the real Ludicolo, so he took his chance and blasted a stream of flames toward one of them. It was successful! Lily cringed as she took the attack. She retaliated by opening her big bill and launching a Hydro Pump. The blast of water lost some of its power in the sun, but still dealt a chunk of damage to the Torchic.

Venus, you go after Sorin. First, use Double Team, and then hit him with Psychic.

Im assuming that the venus attacking Otto is actually Oak. With that said, Otto, here's what I want you to do. Once he dissapears for his attack, you yourself will dissapear with Faint Attack. And when he tries the brick break, Counter it.

Sorin(the name of my dorm ^.^), As they are switching targets on us, lets follow suit. Start things off with a powered-up, widespread flamethrower, hopefully getting rid of any clones she might produce. And just mirror move her psychic, sending her back as well.

And my newest friend, Dimitri, you shall have that big pineapple-creature, make use of this...Sorin isnt going to enjoy this, but im sure he'll understand. Since he is going to fake you out...lets hold off on attacking till after the rest of the squad performs. Rise, and call forth the rains with Rain Dance. And while he is not able to quickly produce a large beam immediately, try to knock him over with Dragon Rage.

With a quick strike attack, Lily moved first and gave the dragon-type a quick smack with her hands. But Dimitri wasn’t attacking…not quite yet.
Venus went for the evasion strategy and made multiple copies of herself. Sorin was now staring at five identical Kirlias. He took a deep breath and unleashed a widespread Flamethrower that managed to engulf four Kirlias at once! But there was one left after he finished and it turned out this was the real Venus who luckily managed to avoid all damage. Sorin sighed.
Next, Oak vanished for a Faint Attack. Otto couldn’t see well, but he vanished too, letting the Dark energy guide him. They both met somewhere in the middle of the arena and struck each other.
Finally, the Bagon launched his move. It took quite a bit of energy…in fact, a lot of energy to make the sunny weather turn into rain. But Dimitri managed to do it. Sorin and Oak frowned.

Lily danced happily in the rain despite the fact that her next attack wasn’t going to be as successful. Oh well. She began charging some energy up in her lilypad sombrero. Dimitri showed her the fury of Dragon Pokémon with Dragon Rage. The Ludicolo was engulfed in bright dragon flames, but this didn’t stop her from releasing a small beam of solar energy that struck the Bagon in his side.
It was a Psychic battle between Venus and Sorin. Venus picked up the Torchic in a psychic grip then slammed him into the ground. Sorin mimicked this and did the same thing, although her psychic abilities weren’t quite up to par so it didn’t do quite as much damage.
Ready to give his opponent a supereffective attack, Oak gave the bear a heavy blow with his hands. But Otto’s orange glow wasn’t good news for him. He turned the attack back on him and knocked the Shiftry away with a powerful force.

Alrighty Dimitri, lets do things simple this round. Smack that Ludicolo with a mighty mud slap, and then hit her good with Aerial Ace.

Sorin, I want you to join Dimitri in the attack, Mud Slap, going after the psychic pokemon respectively yours. And end the round with your own Aerial Ace.

Otto, follow suit. Mud Slap~Aerial Ace.

If any of you get put to sleep, Sleep Talk until you awaken.

Oak, keep your distance. First use Flash on Otto, and then get him with Extrasensory.

Venus, go for Dimitri. Since it's raining, use Thunderbolt, and then use Psychic. Again, keep your distance.

Lily, use this opportunity. Blast all of the foes you can with a Blizzard. (This is why I told Oak and Venus to keep their distance.) Then use Counter on that Aerial Ace. If the Blizzard stops the Aerial Ace from going through because it freezes Dimitri, soak Sorin with a Hydro Pump.

Team Lanturn all got the same command. Strike with Mud-Slap, then finish off with Aerial Ace. Interesting.
Oak started off with a bright Flash right in Otto’s eyes, who staggered back in his blindness. He launched the handful of mud in his paw, but it hit Venus instead. Oh well.
Now Venus’s vision was obscured to, but that’s okay. The lighting bolt she released from her hands easily found their way to the soaking wet Dimitri. Dimitri recovered from the shock and threw his own Mud-Slap, giving the Kirlia a double taste of the attack.
Finally, Sorin was up to bat. He threw up some mud with her claws but they were stopped in midair by a huge blast of freezing wind and ice from Lily. Sorin, Otto, and Dimitri all felt the chill, but the little Bagon felt it worst since he was a Dragon type. Fortunately for them, the Blizzard was dispersed over a wide area so no one got frozen.

In the next second, three blats of air cut through the arena and hit each respective opponent with super accuracy. But one of the Aerial Aces was returned back onto its opponent. Lily gave Dimitri a well placed Counter attack that knocked the dragon off his feet.
The Bagon had taken quite some damage this round, and Venus was about to give him even more…or not. The Kirlia had trouble locating Dimitri with the mud in her eyes and the psychic energy she released missed by a long shot.
Oak tried his own hand at a psychic attack. His was more successful, with a beam of psychic energy hitting the Teddiursa squarely in the chest.

Oak, keep going after Otto. First use Extrasensory, and then follow with Razor Wind.

Lily, that blasted Charmander is yours. Hit it with Water Pulse, and then with Hydro Pump.

Alright team Lanturn(and its a torchic, not a charmander ^.^), lets get this round going strong, and have some fun with a change of opponents...

Dimitri, it seems this Kirlia really wants to mess with you, but I've got other plans. I want you to go over to that Ludicolo and Crunch down hard on her. Dont worry too much about Kirlia, she has blurred vision, and Otto will take care of her...Then, while Ludicolo is still trying to mess with sorin, give her a hefty Dragon Claw.

Otto, that Kirlia is yours...but lets do wha we do best, dissapear. Faint Attack against Kirlia, and hopefully avoiding that beam that is being sent your way...then, I guess she'll be still going after Dimitri, but Crunch down on her.

Sorin, for the first time, I'm gonna ask you to go on the defensive, Protect x2.

Now with only half health, but still doing fine, Lily danced in place as she charged up an orb filled with Water energy and blasted it toward the Torchic. But Torchic set up a quick and impenetrable shield in front of him, preventing any and all damage.
Lily got something in return…a powerful Crunch, not from Sorin, but from her Bagon teammate. Dimitri closed his teeth on Lily’s arm for as long as he could. Suddenly, he was struck by a bolt of lightning from the Kirlia. She poured on the electricity, not caring that she can’t see, as long as the Thunderbolt hit its target. But the electric shock transferred onto Lily as well. Whoops.
Trying to save his teammate, Otto vanished as a beam of psychic energy narrowly missed him. He tackled the Kirlia with his superaccurate Dark attack, knocking the skinny psychic over.

Venus charged up another Psychic, but again, her obscured vision meant she couldn’t see well. She aimed for the Bagon, but Dimitri managed to dodge the blast and it ended up hitting Oak instead. Oh well, Oak was immune to Psychic attacks anyways. Venus knew that she had to clear her vision before the next round started.
Oak had formed a roaring wind around him. He saw the bear headed toward Venus, so he immediately launched his attack. A huge gust of wind knocked into Otto, blasting him towards the far corner of the arena.

Lily took a deep breath a blasted a huge stream of Water towards Sorin. Once again, the Torchic prevented the damage, but this time, getting the Protect up was extremely tiring. The Ludicolo met with another of Dimitri’s powerful attacks – a Dragon Claw that dug into her side. She was not too happy after all this.

Venus and Oak stood back to let Lily do her thing. Out came another massive Blizzard attack. The flurry of ice and snow chilled the Bagon and Torchic to the bones. But what about Otto? It seems the teddy bear swerved and evaded the attack, going after the Kirlia with his slobbery tongue.
The Kirlia saw this coming and quickly created three clones. Otto wasn’t prepared for this and went through one of the fake images, destroying it in the process. In a split-second, Oak was in front of him, knocking the Teddiursa back with his leafy hands. Out of the corner of his eye, Oak saw a bright orange glow coming towards him. Sorin had launched a Flamethrower at him. Though weakened by the rain, it still did a fair amount of damage. Not only did it hit its target, it also destroyed another one of Venus’s clones as it passed through.
Dimitri was low on health now, but being the spunky dragon he is, was willing to battle even more than before. He fired out a beam of normal energy, hitting the Ludicolo directly in the chest. Uh oh, it seems this attack induced some paralysis upon Lily.

Venus, Otto, and Oak were now right next to each other. Oak gave the bear a hard handed blow, bruising him even more. Otto wanted to retaliate, but the Kirlia was still his target. He his vision cleared so he could see how the water dripped off the skirt of the real Kirlia. He swung a fist full of icy energy that slammed into Venus’s skinny legs. She didn’t fall over though, because the attack had frozen her legs to the ground.
The Kirlia frowned, but at least it won’t impede her next attack. She fired another bolt of electricity, successfully striking the Bagon and bringing him to a critical level.
Dimitri growled. He wasn’t going to last much longer, so he gave it all he got. A fierce vortex of dragon energy surrounded him, twisting itself into a tornado. The Twister spun across the arena and caught the Ludicolo, spinning her around in midair before plopping her back down.
Sorin attacked next, using another fire attack. He blasted a spiraling stream of flames that still managed to hit the Shiftry, but were extinguished in a few seconds by the rain. Finally, it was Lily’s turn. A bit slower due to paralysis, but she felt that she could still move. She took a deep breath and blasted a huge stream of water that drenched the Torchic thoroughly and completely.

Finally, the rain stopped and the clouds cleared. Sunlight fell on the arena once more.

Oak, you go after Sorin with an Extrasensory, then hit Otto with a Giga Drain.

Lily, hit Otto with a Razor Leaf, then hit Sorin with Hydro Pump again, if you can.

Otto, I want you to hide behind the frozen Kirlia, let her take the brunt of that razor leaf, and give her a big Zap Cannon, being the lightning rod that she is....this should be fun. Then, dissapear with Faint Attack, hopefully avoiding both attacks coming your way and hit Kirlia.

Dimitri, they dont seem to want to attack you outside of that late hit, so lets take advantage of that. Hit that Shiftry with a big Fire Blast x2

Sorin, this is gonna be semi-tough, as that Ludicolo doesnt want to leave you alone. Start things off with Sunny Day, to aid Dimitri. And that should power down Lily's Hydro Pump, retaliate it with a Fire Blast of your own.

Venus couldn’t move around, so she simply closed her eyes and looked into the not-so-distant future in order to transfer a blast of psychic energy there. Lily gained control of her arm muscles and flung razor sharp leaves in Otto’s direction. The Teddiursa ran towards the Kirlia as he got pelted by the leaves. Venus started to scream as the leaves hit her too, so Lily promptly stopped. Otto sighed in relief before charge up a large orb of powerful electricity. The Zap Cannon struck Venus hard, shattering the ice around her legs but also managed to paralyze her.
Oak moved over and confronted the Torchic. The startled Sorin stumbled back as a beam of psychic energy shot from Oak’s eyes into Sorin’s eyes. The chick wobbled around unsteadily…apparently, the attack had messed with his vision. Nonetheless, he released some fire energy into the atmosphere and made the weather sunny once more.
Dimitri saw what had happened and decided to help his teammate. He took a deep breath and out came a huge five-pointed flaming symbol that slammed into the Shiftry, who yelled as the flames singed his plant body.

Oak wanted to get back at the nearly fainted Bagon, but his next attack was for Otto. He rushed behind Venus to where Otto was last seen…but he wasn’t there. Venus screamed in pain as Otto gave her a Faint Attack.
In the distance, Dimitri roared again and a Fire Blast was sent sailing through the arena. Otto and Venus ducked as the fierce fiery figure went over their heads and engulfed the poor Grass-type in flames. Oak came out entirely blacked and fell over on his face, being the first Pokemon to faint in this battle.
Meanwhile, Venus glared angrily at Dimitri. The little Dragon grinned, but suddenly, a blue orb came out of no where and blasted into his chest. The Bagon panted heavily as he was nearing defeat.
Sorin decided to use a Fire Blast of his own. However, his vision was obscured and the Fire attack he blew out missed Lily by several inches. Lily was more successful in her attack. A rather large stream of pressurized water shot out from her bill and slammed into the Torchic. It wasn’t nearly as strong as before, but any damage was a good thing.

Otto, I want you to go after that Ludicolo and help Sorin out. As both of them are paralyzed, this could work to our advantage. Hit that ludicolo with a Zap Cannon, and follow that up with an Aerial Ace

Sorin, I want to try and help claer your eyes, and I believe that if you send a Swift after Ludicolo, it shouldnt bother you. Then, hopefully your vision will be clearer, I want you to aim a Fire Spin at Kirlia.

Dimitri, you are gonna be on your own for at least the first attack. Hit kirlia hard with Crunch. Then back out of there before Sorin fires his fire, and add your own fire to the pot with a Flamethrower aimed at Kirlia.

With one Pokemon down and the other five severely battered, this battle wasn’t going to last much longer.

Sorin panted in exhaustion, but still fired off a Swift attack. Evading this move was futile and Lily took the hit. She hadn’t made her move yet and attempted a Double Team. But she only managed to create one clone before her muscles froze and prevented her from completing her move. Otto had a 50% chance of hitting the real Lily with her charged orb of electricity. He flung it at the right one, but it turned out right wasn’t always right as it struck a clone.
Venus was more successful with her move. She created three clones just before Dimitri rushed in and passed through one of them.

Otto wasn’t going to let his next move miss. He swiped the air with his claws to send several strips of wind slashing into Lily. Lily grunted as she felt lightheaded, nearing unconsciousness.
Dimitri and Sorin went together and launched their Fire attacks at the Kirlia. The Bagon’s attack missed and hit a clone, but Sorin’s swirling stream of flames hit the real Venus for some light damage. She too, was nearing defeat. Venus replied not with a damaging move, but with a sleep-inducing one. She locked gazes with Sorin and suddenly, the Torchic slumped forward as she fell fast asleep.
Finally, Lily used yet another Blizzard attack that hit all three opponents. Dimitri growled his last growl as he fell backwards.

The four remaining Pokémon on both sides groaned in pain and exhaustion.

Otto scrambled up to Lily, whose lilypad sombrero was glowing white as she began to absorb sunlight and turn it into health. But the bear’s kick was powerful – very powerful. Lily’s healing was interrupted as a clawed foot slammed into her stomach and sent her toppling over backwards. Unfortunately, she had not healed fast enough to survive the mighty blow and did not get up after that attack.
Meanwhile, an orange light flowed from Sorin’s body into the Kirlia’s as she feasted on the chick’s dreams and replenished some of her energy. The dozing Torchic made a loud and rather disgusting snoring noise that made Venus cover her ears.

Otto set his sights on Venus and slammed a fist into her that was crackling with electricity. She survived and staggered back up, panting heavily. Again, she channeled energy from Sorin to herself. But this time, the Torchic was actually walking towards her.
Venus had just finished her attacked when the Torchic raked his claws across the Kirlia’s skinny frame with a powerful Slash attack. Venus stood still as the pain flashed through her body. Then she collapsed on her knees and fell forward.

Er, actually, for tag team battles, "Winner and Ref gets however many Pokemon were used on their side and loser gets half of that". So GL and I get 3, and you get......1.5.........which I guess you can round up to 2. Ask in the Bank if you have any questions. I've never done a 3 vs. 3 triple battle before.
