All righty... but the all mighty coin flip, it has been decided that aragornbird will attack first, then conspiracy.

Aragornbird has chosen his female Natu, Vaire to battle, conspiracy has chosen his male Scyther, Flash.

  ~Round 1 Start~
  
  In the midst of a grassy field, two trainers approach each other from different directions. The first has a mosaic-looking bird perched on his shoulder, small and compact with wings that look like the serve for mostly decoration rather than flying. The other has a rather formidable looking Scyther, whose name no doubt foreshadows his speed.
  
  There are no bells – no whistles – to set off the match. Merely a nod of each trainers head is all it takes for the battle to commence. Vairë jumps off her trainers shoulders, becoming something of a mosaic bullet as she picks up speed. Just as her speed boosted body makes contact with the Scyther’s hard exoskeleton, she is ungracefully thrown back into the grass.
  
  The small bird rises back to her feet, feeling rather flabbergasted. Above her, she can see the Scyther watching her through narrow eyes. Flash smirks, and gestures the bird forward in a ‘bring it on’ motion. Angered, and a little confused by the whole ordeal, Vairé puffs out her wings in anger, and hops closer towards the Scyther, intending to give him exactly what he seems to want…
  
  And that happens to be a very hard Psychic in the face – the force of which even sends the battle-hardened bug reeling. Angry, his head still ringing from the Psychic assault, the Scyther brings his..well… scythe-like claw swinging down in a slicing motion.
  
  Vairë stands ready, springing into action. Her bill seems to spin as she leaps into the air, landing on Flash’s blade as she brings her beak downwards into tender green skin. The Scyther howls, flinging the bird away from his arm, before slashing downward with the other, striking Vairë as she falls into the grass, a cut now gracing her irregularly patterned feathers.

  ~Round 2 Start~
  
  Figure blurring, Flash splits into five identical images, each clone circling around the bird like a hungry hawk. Vairë, a little confused by the images, jumps high into the air with spring laden feet, shooting forward in a flash of blinding speed as she locates her target with perfect accuracy. She darts like a feathery bullet at the Scyther, whistling past him after she impacts the Scyther’s body.
  
  Enraged, Flash spins around, his clones doing likewise as he moves to strike. Gleaming blades raised, the Scyther’s right claw blurs, moving in a downwards strike towards Vairë. Just as the Natu jumps back to try to avoid it, but the scythe is already gone, and Natu soon feels a sharp blade slash at her body, sending her tumbling. Surrounded in electricity, she she tries to regain balance, sending off her electrical attack, but it misses, destroying one of the clones, once again, leaving Vairë open for an attack.
  
  Flash seizes his chance, darting forward in a rush of blinding speed – this time, his claw striking true, with much more power than the feint-like attack from before, his clones mimicking him to great effect, leaving Vairé a very hurt and confused pile of feathers, and her following blast of bright light does nothing but illuminate a clone – not destroying it, but successfully marking it as a fake while the real and fake Scythers continue to circle about Vairë, trying to be as intimidating as possible.
