    Default Tales of Aselic [Sign-ups]

    TALESOFASELIC
    TheDragonKingdomandDivinityCity

The sound of footsteps echoed in the hallway, fast pace, and never seemed to stop until the occasion leap of faith as the man clad in white armour skipped the steps. Explosions and horrible cries echoed outside, and some were drawing near… Closer to him, in his helpless state.

“We can’t loose it…” He gasped to himself, throwing himself through a door shoulder first, before tumbling onto the ground. With a groan he heaved himself onto his feet and continued to sprint, faster and faster down the hallway. “Not to them…”

He was close then; his eyes were fixed upon two humanoid Dragons: Dragoons; the guardians of this holy place. Their dragon bodies were made of the finest steel, and with their lances in hand, they were a force to be reckoned with.
Thank god they were on his side.

“Open the door!” He cried, to his surprise, they obeyed, opening the door to reveal a rather small room with a large blue crystal floating in the center.

It was then time seemed to slow. No, it was… Time was stopping all around him. The boy gulped, looking at the frozen Dragoons who he hadn’t noticed, but had began to sprint down the hall. Nervously he turned, pivoting on one foot to see only a dark, looming fog at the end of the hallway.

“Siqut...” He whispered; jumping as large, overgrown hands with massive black claws slammed onto the floor. Cracking the panels and sending shards flying everywhere.

When his shock was overpowered by fear, he turned again, his ears caught the sounds of gurgling and growling, with the occasional snap of a dragoon being broken in half, and then thrown down like a toy. Even so, he kept running, and though it seemed like an eternity, the soldier had made it.

With the slightest of touches, his fingertips made contact with the smooth crystal surface…

With that, the old man shut the book. The crowd that had gathered around him gasped, and then frowned. Only a chuckle escaped the man, as he stroked his long beard and watched the group dissipate, until only a few remained.
The man was confused by the odd set of children in front of him, all around eight years old, but all very different in appearance. Shrugging it off, the kind smile appeared on his face and he crossed his arms at the children.

“And what are you still doing here?”

“Oh please tell us the rest!” One child beamed, with a smile on his face.

“Yes! What happened to the knight?” Another chirped.

    “What’s a Siqut?”

The man laughed. “Siqut is a creature called forth by the heart of a person, very powerful, and with a very short temper.”

“But you said all the magickal creatures are on the Dragoon’s side!” A boy huffed, crossing his arms and puffing his cheeks.

“Indeed I did, but even with creatures, if you experience war to often, you’ll turn angry, and cold. Siqut was angry, so it turned on its master, and then attacked anyone.”

One girl tilted her head. “Is the Dragon Kingdom real? It’s the Dragon Head Palace really there?”

The man stopped, his smiled faded and he looked at all the children, quietly, he issued them all closer. Carefully, and without any of the parents noticing, he gave them all crystals.

“These crystals, if put together, form a map. A map that will one day, if you all really believe it in, will lead you to the Dragon Kingdom Gates, and then onwards, to Divinity City.” He smiled as all the children looked at the crystals with wonder. “One day, maybe you will even call your own Spirit forth, and see first had the power and beauty that magick’s really hold.”

They all laughed and giggled; hiding their crystal’s from their parents as some looked over.

“How will we all know each other then?” One asked. “I’m not friends with everybody.”

“Ah.” The old man grinned. “If you truly, somewhere in your heart believe, you will all be lead back to this very spot. And then your crystals will handle it from there.”

    Magicks

There are many sorts of magicks in the world of Aselic, and there comes a time that every child must learn of these tricky abilities. In this world, the magicks are used in the intent to do damage, healing spells and other such things are hard to master, and must be gained through gaining the respect of the Gods.

    Types of Magick

Oblivion Magick- Dark, and twisted. Oblivion magick is the Arcana of Aselic; it is meant to do damage, and do a lot of it. It controls the Bend, break, gravity and death spells.

Excalibur Magick- Known as the holy magick, Excalibur magick is the direct opposite of Oblivion. It is hard to master, and though weaker then the awful Arcana magick, it can prove quite useful. It controls the Split, Heaven, and Resurrect spells.

Elemental Magick- the most renowned, and easiest to master is the Elemental spells. Though at first they seem weak and useless, later on they prove to be extremely handy. It controls the Stone, Wind, Storm, Flame, and Water spells.

Chaos Magick- A smaller, less potent version of Oblivion magick, it was only given its own category due to the high mages conquering its difficult twists. Chaos magick is extremely unstable and is known to backfire, but mastering it can get you out of trickery situations. Controls Time, Illusion, Mind and Disease spells.

Shield Magick- The rarest, and by far the most difficult to master, is the Shield category. Though close to Excalibur magick, scientists have proven that it was not derived from the holy spells. Shield can save one or many lives from even the most powerful spells. It controls Shield, and Immunity spells.

    Spell Types

Bend: The ability to bend what the eyes perceive. Cannot be used on another living being, but can be used on the items around them.
Example: A boulder that used to be harmless sitting on the ground is not floating over the enemies head.

Break: The ability to manipulate the body of another living being. This Spell type has also been referred to as Bleed. As it sometimes takes away, and is usually used as the most horrific torture way.
Example: Willing the enemies body to melt. Maybe a couple minutes later, their skin is beginning to drip.

Gravity: The most potent of any spell, a strong Gravity spell can bypass shield techniques. It can destroy a person’s finger to an entire city.
Example: Enemy is extremely fast, wills the gravitational pull around the enemy to become heavy, even to the point where they are pulled onto the ground and then kept there, extremely strained.

Death: Extremely terrifying spell, to have the ability to rip the soul from the body, and then toss it away like nothing. Can also cause comatose, rotting flesh or mental disabilities.
Example: Focusing on any living thing, and willing them to die. Their body might explode, or shrivel up. It all depends on the cruelty of the will.

Split: The ability to take half of the wounds of an ally, and put them on the spellcasters own body. Extremely effective, though needs concentration.

Heaven: The offensive holy magic, usually coming from the sky. Very powerful, hard to aim.
Example: A white fireball coming from the heavens, to slam into multiple opponents.

Resurrect: To bring the newly dead to life, fully restoring their bodies. Extremely difficult to master.

    Stone: Attacks dealt with earth.

    Wind: Attacks dealt with wind.

    Storm: Attacks dealt with lightning.

    Flame: Attacks dealt with fire.

    Water: Attacks dealt with water.

Time: the ability to slow, stop, rewind and control time. Extremely difficult, especially rewinding.

Illusion: Makes an ally or an enemy hallucinate, may cause insanity.

Mind: The power of the mind, the extreme mental focus of someone on something, causing things to happen. A very good torture spell. Can move large things, but is not as effective or as fast as bend.

Disease: To give the ally or enemy a harmful disease that works fast.

Shield: To create a shield that will block most or all attacks.

Immunity: to make someone immune to diseases and poisons.

You’ll notice how I did not post the spells (only their basic description and some examples), but that’s okay. You have to bold your better category. This will determine which spells you get. Note, once you receive them, you’ll notice some are struck out, meaning you either don’t have enough experience, or it’s not available at this time due to power.
Magick Sense is your experience, it determines your connection with the Spirits that grant you your spells. You rank yourself on a scale of 1 to 10, but I don’t want to see a bunch of tens, in fact, I limit it one (maybe two…) high level magick user (means that person can have 8, 9, 10).

    Spirits

If you have ever played any game where you can summon a creature onto the field, then you’ll get the idea of Spirits. Rulers of magicks, and power, they use the human soul to became real in Aselic. Each Spirit differs, and some are quite nasty and mean, while others are gentle and prefer to try and heal. An example is Siqut, it was a nasty one, and eventually turned on its summoner.
You may NOT summon a Spirit at the beginning of the RPG, and once you get one, be responsible. You won’t summon a Spirit all the time, nor will they come all the time. In fact they’re quite random when they appear. Abusing your Spirit will cause it to turn on you, and then vanish.
Note: Spirits take the form of their Summoner’s soul, and ideal image of a monster. Someone who is kind and generous won’t have a demon, they’ll have an angel. You may create what your Spirit looks like, but don’t go overboard, and try not to directly copy off another.

    Default Sign-ups

[Weasel's note: I'm putting all the sign-ups in this one reply ^_^]

    Kalad1:
    Name: Dennis Loray
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
Personality: Dennis struggles between apathetic cynicism and the will and desire to be better, to do the right thing, and solve vast problems. This leaves him as ranging from cold, to ambivalent, to nice, depending on mood. Though one thing he can't stand is a bully.
History: Born to a rather wealthy family, Dennis developed a taste for adventure, a desire to do good deeds, and vanquish evil, but his inability to attain these has jaded him. He has studied swordsmanship, mostly in connection with his childhood desire. At the age of ten, he was taught how to make jewelry by his grandparents.
Appearance: Standing at 5'6" with an average, if healthy, frame, Dennis has icy blue eyes, and white hair to his shoulders. He wears a sturdy white shirt with a tan leather jacket, and pants made of a durable, tan colored fabric. Noticeably, he has a star tattooed on the back of his hand, in blue and grey. Lastly, he has his grandparent's wedding rings on a chain around his neck.
Weapon: wields a longsword in his right hand, and a long dagger in the left.
Crystal Color: Iridescent blue, with black flecks floating within.
Techniques: Actually knows how to fight with swords, has competent skills as a jeweler, and has uncanny reflexes.
    Magic Ability: Oblivion, and Shield
    Magic Sense: 6
    Other:

    Spirit
    Name: Siqut
Appearance: A six foot tall man, with black hair and black eyes, wearing, of all things, a tidy black business suit. Tyically has a smirk on his face.
Techniques: Ptolema: Lifts as many free objects as possible, flinging them at a target.
Judecca:Lifts a single, extremely large object, flinging it at a target
Caina: Targeted on a single creature, causes their internal organs to break down within their body, without breaking down their skin or skeleton.
    Magic Level: 5
    Power Level: 5

    --------------------------

    Blademaster:

    Name: Omar Pruise
    Age: 19
    Gender: Male
Personality: Omar is pretty straightforward, quick to point out anything that doesn't make sense or seems stupid. He's typically pretty quiet and shy, but he can be pretty friendly and talkative around people he knows and/or trusts.
History: Omar has a strong sense of justice and has ever since he was little. Raised in a small apartment by his mother and father, he spent much of his childhood at a local playground protecting other kids from bullies, which were in no short supply. By the time he was a teenager, he was something of a local hero.
Appearance: 5'7", about 190 pounds. Caucasian, with shaggy brown hair, a thick moustache, and bright blue eyes. Typically wears faded jeans and sneakers, a green hooded sweatshirt, and a red headband.
Weapon: Omar's weapon of choice is an aluminum baseball bat, painted jet black.
    Crystal Color: Red
Techniques: Springy - Omar's body is more flexible than the average person's - not elastically flexible, but his bones and muscles do have enough 'spring' in them to grant him increased strength and endurance.
    Magic Ability: Elemental, Chaos
    Magic Sense: 7/10
    Other: Omar pwnz you, 'Other!'

    Spirit

    Name: Onmis
Appearance: Onmis is a lovely young woman about 5'3" and 120 pounds. She has long red hair and shiny blue eyes, and rather pale skin. Her attire consists of a loose bodysuit that is red on the left half and blue on the right.
    Techniques:
    1. Aqueous - Onmis casts a transmutative spell on the water molecules in her body, allowing her to transform into water, which she can form weapons with or use as a quick means of escape.
    2. Pyrotechnics - Onmis' body becomes surrounded by a fiery aura that generates heat and light of varying degrees.
    3. Chaos Firestorm - Onmis' only true 'attack,' she casts a great amount of her power into the sky, resulting in a series of fiery blasts raining down from the sky for a short time (a couple of minutes at the very most).
    Magic Level: 8/10
    Power Level: 3/10

    -------------------------------

    Samchu:

    Name: Ayra
    Age: 20
    Gender: Female
Personality: Ayra is…very tomboyish. To sum it up. She is, in theory, one of the guys. She thinks in a way similar to a guy and has grown up around them her entire life so she comes off as being a very masculine person, she also has a fairly deep voice for her gender. She’s generally a very nice and considerate person and gets on well with other people but at times she can be withdrawn and secretive, especially when it comes to her past. She looks out for people and is very loyal – sometimes too loyal. She’ll do things for people even though they may not deserve it, which is one of her biggest flaws.
History: A dark one filled with torment and abuse, the details of which I will refrain from placing here as they are likely to come out as plot develops because I’m mean like that.
Appearance: Long, dark brown hair, and a fair-skin complexion. Dark brown eyes, 5’7, athletic body, Wears White shirt with slight sleeves, and a black done up vest over top. Black leather pants adorn with a studded belt and silver buckle. Hands are covered by black gloves with power runes sewn into them. A single strap runs over her left shoulder to hold a harness for a sword.
    Weapon: http://www.myimportstore.com/store/i...SwordSmall.jpg
    Crystal Color: Blood red
Techniques: uhh…she can run very, very fast
    Magic Ability: Chaos
    Magic Sense: 8/10
    Other: none

    Spirit
    Name: Altana
Appearance: Like the wraiths from LOTR, a dark, menacing figure that hovers above the ground instead of walking in it. The body is slim and adorned all in black with a black cape. The hood is always up; hiding the face, but two red eyes can be seen shinning through to anyone who has the guts to look. Heavy, armoured gloves cover the hands but the fingertips are sharp and cut tear easily through human flesh. It has one black scaled wing that sticks out from the back of the cloak and can wrap round to cover almost half of Altana’s body.
    Techniques:
Plaque – can infect an object with a fast-acting and painful disease which lingers on the object for a short period of time. Very difficult to use and so she hardly ever does.
Venom – a slow acting painful poison that can be directly placed in the victim. Cannot kill but can cause great bodily damage as it also has flesh burning potential.
Paralyse – a poison that attacks the spine and causes it to spasm violently before temporarily shutting down. Kinda like a painful way to immobilise and enemy.
    Magic Level: 1/10
    Power Level: 9/10

    ---------------------------

    Hinata:

    Name: Carol Toivonen
    Age: 19
    Gender: Female
Personality: Carol is a gifted, intelligent young woman, yet she has let herself be ruined by the insults of those jealous of her. Talented in music (playing, mostly) and sometimes writing, she would seemingly be calm on the inside much of the time due to the "stress reliever" factor. However, when she has to come home to emotional and physical abuse nearly every day, she is often dark on the inside, and communicates this through tears, and contrary to belief of her "loved ones," she does not do this for attention, nor likes the attention usually received from crying. As a result, she often feels weak, and justifiably hated (see history), often worrying that the future would not benefit her in either way. In spite of this, Carol is kind-hearted and caring to a nearly maternal extent, in spite of the saying of "To love others, you must love yourself first." Carol admittingly hates herself as much as she's tried to love, yet she has given off the same kind, "pleasant" aura she has apparently had since birth.
History: Carol's history is "normal," or so it is in the eyes of those cruel enough to consider abuse "average." She was raised by her mother and, beginning at six, her stepfather, and was constantly slung back and forth between being a supposed accident because of how her actual father abandoned them at Carol's birth. Her mother constantly hit her, and so much as yelled at her to start fights in order to hit her, and her stepfather did the same to her and her mother because he was a "booze hound." As a result, Carol tried to hide herself and pretend that she was happier, often connecting herself to dream-like states in which she envisions the future. She eventually used the performing arts as an escape, and because of her apparent beauty and talent, was accepted by a rather popular guy when she was almost fourteen, and they began dating, because of his "kindness" towards her.
However, much like her main magical ability, Carol was deceived by this illusion. Carol put her trust and loyalty into her boyfriend, only to be rejected for it. When the past became evident to him, he began to wish his life were like hers, and in a path of self-destruction, began to try to bring others down, even his girlfriend that he swore to marry someday, Carol. He became emotionally and sexually abusive, raping her on one occasion, and because she admitted she felt hurt without justification, dumped her and so much as faked placing a restraining order on her, ending three years of what should've been happiness.
Ever since, Carol has felt hated, and still remains abused by her parents, and often feeling forsaken by the guardians, especially for never being able to say goodbye to her mortal muse, her grandfather, who died not too long before her breakup. Ever since, however, she has been developing illusions in her mind, and often communicates with them when in solitude, because of the general effect of her crystal. Indeed, it has helped her cope with some of the depression she has experienced, but her true desire is somebody to love, and love her in return.
Appearance: Carol, in actuality, is a beautiful young woman, yet has had a hard time coming to terms with this. At a height of 5'6", her physique is rather slender, in spite of having somewhat of an hourglass figure for a torso. Her naturally medium blonde hair has an average depth to it, coming down to about her collarbone, and her eyes are a fair mix of steel blue and grey. (see here) Her skin is also rather fair, given her heritage.
Carol actually adorns herself in rather nice clothing, in spite of how she feels about herself. This consists of a white/light tan blouse of almost medieval origin with a fashionably tattered, short dark brown-grey top with a matching pair of gloves that come to the ends of her forearms. (reference picture) For pants, she wears a dark brown and black striped pants of a thin, flared material, with a skirt of similar material over it. (reference picture...isn't it all pretty?) Footwear, however, consists of boots, somewhat like combat boots (yet not as explicit), comfortable enough to walk in.
Weapon: Carol's weapon resembles part of a traditional Japanese kama. However, the charcoal-colored scythe lacks a small staff, and is hooked to a chain of a similar shade which extends to about five feet. She wears gloves for the possibility of callouses.
Crystal Color: A rather smooth, oily black, much like an Apache Tear. Ironically, the Apache Tear is a stone meant to help one in time of grieving.
    Techniques:
Memory - Carol can delve into the minds of others, and see their memories. This puts her in an insane trance when backfired, as in causing her to relive an experience of her own.
    Magic Ability: Chaos, Excalibur
Magic Sense: 8/10 (more like 7.5, but rounded up...slightly)
Other: Carol, with her passion for all things beautiful and artistic, is gifted in playing a small, traditionally wooden flute, with which she is normally found with. While in school, she has played the modern flute, she prefers the traditional.

    Spirit
    Name: Mimic
Appearance: Mimic, odd enough, resembles a little girl, much like the Mirror Card from Cardcaptor Sakura. (more pictures!) Oddly, she resembles a younger version of Carol, yet with lighter hair and deeper, wider eyes, and glows with a radiant white aura. She is adorned in a simple white medieval gown symbolizing innocence, and upon her back are small angelic wings. On her forehead, instead of the pattern as seen on the Mirror Card, is a mirror commonly used for her magic.
    Techniques:
Desire - Mimic creates the illusion of what the targeted foe wants the most by means of her mirror, and brings forth the image to life, leading the target closer before attacking.
Torment - Mimic's version of Carol's Memory, in which the memory brought forth is relived by the target.
Create - Mimic creates a metaphysical weapon with her mind which strikes at the foe's mind as if it were a real weapon.
    Magic Level: 9/10
Power Level: 1/10 (she's only a little girl...!)

I hope you don't mind a second "high-leveled" magic user...^^; Not to mention it took me two hours and twenty minutes just to complete this.

    Shadow Djinn:

Well, here's my attempt at this...

I didn't fill out very much, because I'm a stickler for time periods. That said, what time period is it? I'd also like to reserve Evrea (Wind, Storm), since my current signup doesn't make it very clear...

    Character
Name: Raidese Van Garstein (Rai for short.)
    Age: 19
    Gender: Male
Personality: Very carefree, Rai prefers to rush into things, going off the saying, 'he who hesitates is lost.' At other times he's aloof and unpredictable, with a low set of ethics and morals to give himself a bad impression to others.
If something troubles him, he prefers to keep it tucked inside, instead making jokes or cracks to cover up whatever emotion he is feeling. Unlike overachievers, he prefers to underachieve, always refraining from trying his best in fear of messing up. He also has a small bit of stage fright, disliking doing things alone in front of many people. Criticism is one pet peeve that he possesses, and dislikes being reminded of things constantly.
History: His father was incredibly strict, emphasizing on perfection. However, this led to him trying hard constantly, and he would mess up, leading to humiliation by fellow peers. When his father died (he was rather old at the time), he cast away perfectionism, due to his mom being too busy to actually take care of him. Instead, he began to underachieve, trying hard in the things he knew he was good at, which were very few. He had a deep interest in fantasy books, loving to bury himself into any he could find.

    Mystic_Clown:
    Character
    Name:Hyde
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
Personality: Intelligent and well cultured. These things can pretty much sum up all of Hyde's good points. He has a mild superiority complex, believing the he's superior to most people, but willing to admit there are others on his level. He has a low opinion of society as he thinks those in charge are below people like him. He can also be very charming and persuasive, allowing him to manipulate others. He also suffers from slight mood swings, being cold and calculative one minute to completely manic the next.
History: He grew up in a well to do family. Proven to be gifted, his family pushed him to the limit in his studies, trying to make their son into a genius. This attitude derived their son of a normal childhood and so their son became almost anti-social. While normal children were playing, he was reading fine literature and going to highly culteral events.
Eventually, his parent's goal of raising a genius was realised, but at a price. Hyde began to see his arents as inferior to him, leeching off the better people (such as himself) to help themselves. While he never made this view public, this attitude grew until it took over his life. Also, due to being limited in his freedom, he occassionally has manic episodes in which he does what he had never been allowed to do his whole life. However, he has these usually somewhere private.
Appearance: Standing at about 6'1'', Hyde has a lean, yet will chiselled buildiw th a slightly pale complexion, due to lack of sunlight. His raven black hair unevenly reaches his shoulders and his eyes are a shade of red. As for clothing, he normally dresses in a formal attire. A white undershirt with a red tie, a black jacket and matching pants. He wears black expensive shoes, white gloves and a Homberg hat. To make things easier, he look like this (the one in black):

Weapon: A scythe with a red-ish blade and a pitch black handle. The scythe seems of gothic design, with the handle almost resembling a decorated crucifix where it joins the blade.
Crystal Color: a cloudy, pink-purple colour.
Techniques: Weakness: Hyde and dwelve into a person's mind, learning how they are feeling and learning of any insecurities they have, allowing him to manipulate them more easily.
    Magic Ability: [/B]Oblivion[/B], Chaos
    Magic Sense: 10/10
    Other:

    Spirit
    Name: Sin
Appearance: A black, twisted humanoid form. It's skin is leathery and while it has no eyes, it has numerous snapping mouth al over its body. It doesn't seem to have a lower body as anything below the monster's 'waist' fade into nothing. Around its neck it a stone ring, chaining Sin gangly arms to it, giving his arms limited reach.
    Techniques:
-Earthbound: Sin turns the gravity strength way up in a selected area, virtually crushing anything caught in the area into the ground.
-Ascension: Sin lowers the strength of gravity in a specific area, making anything that isn't nailed down to float into the air. Sin can also use this ability to throw its target around.
-Fluxation: Sin creates a black ball around the target, in which the gravity is pulling and pushing on the target from all sides. This attack is the most deadly as it can crush or rip the target apart (or both).

    River/Asayake:
    Character
    Name: Daniel
    Age: 23
    Gender: M
Personality: Distant would be the best word to describe Daniel. He does not like to make friends and is very much the loner. He is calm in most situations and can usually get himself and others out of jam because of it. Highly intelligent and very sarcastic, he uses these to keep people from getting close to him. With biting remarks and making them feel stupid, he comes across as cold or cruel but it really isn't, he just wants to be left alone. He thinks it is best that way. He is a caring guy and he worries about others but he makes himself pull away before becoming anything close to 'friend'. He often confuses those around them because he could save their life, and then abruptly leave them, even if they're still seriously hurt.
History: His parents died when he was five, a gang of thugs broke into his house and killed them. His parents had yelled for him to hide, and he did but not very well. He heard his mother scream and he came running out to find both parents dead on the floor with five thugs grinning maliciously at him. The leader came at him and when he had him backed into a corner he got a good look into Daniel's eyes. He raised his knife but then shivered and dropped down dead. The others all came at Daniel but then all looked into his eyes and were not killed just fell into comas.
When the authorities finally came the found Daniel still crouched in the corner, shivering and staring into space. They didn't know what had happened but they took him to an Orphanage and there he stayed. He finally told the authorities what happened a year after the incident, saying the thugs had killed his parents but he didn't remember how they all fell down like that. The police figured he was blocking it out and there was no way a five year old could kill a man and put four others into comas. Still, no one wanted the kid who was the only survivor of a strange killing.
On a couple of occasions at the Orphanage, kids that were bullying him would fall down asleep, with no reason. The adults couldn't explain so shrugged it off. But one day when he was eight Daniel came down to breakfast with a bandage around his eyes. The caretakers tried to get it off, but he refused. He wouldn't explain but said it would make everyone safer. They tried everything but nothing worked, so they were forced to work around it and got him a cane. When Daniel was fourteen one of the thugs woke up and said what had happened. Daniel got away before the cops could question him and has been wandering about every since. He stills wears his bandage in public but he's mostly out in the wilderness now so he doesn't always have it on. His current seeing eye dog, Luke, is the son of his old dog Sheela.
Appearance: About 5'9-5'10, average build, a little lanky. He has brown hair about mid-length, just long enough he can stick it behind his ears. He has brown eyes, but they are usually behind his black bandage when he is in public. He seems to always have the '5 o'clock shadow'. He is usually wearing faded navy blue jeans that are a little frayed about the edges, but not ripped. A white t-shirt with an ash brown hoodie over it, like a brown that has a thin layer of dust always on it. Also has a tan corduroy jacket. He always has a black cane. His hearing and sense of smell have become highly tuned to make up for his frequent blindness when he was younger.
    Weapon: Bow and Arrow.
Crystal Color: Emerald green with pale green cracks spreading from the centre, but not quite reaching the outside surface of the crystal.
Techniques: Everyman-He is very easily trusted and he can get complete strangers to tell him everything. The more effort and the more they will tell, relaxing and thinking they are talking to their closest confidant. Hard to resist as you don't think your being used, and it makes you feel happier the more you tell.
Undoing When Daniel gets highly emotional, usually angry, sad or scared, he can kill people by looking at them. It takes a lot of energy to kill though, so usually it is sleep or coma. Still, with it tied into his emotions he does not have good control over it.
    Magic Ability: Oblivion and Excalibur
    Magic Sense: 5/10
Other: Has an Australian Sheppard, Luke, that guides him around by staying planted to his leg, or barking, etc.

    Spirit
    Name: Xilafin
Appearance: Exactly like that just not with a foal. Is obviously a female horse, a mare.
Techniques: Serenity-She can make those fighting with her extremely focused, their emotions fall away. There is no past or future in Serenity, only the present and the next enemy to meet their end. The user appears to know exactly where the enemy is going to be and meet them, but they do not. They are simply so focused as to be able to tell what they are about to do.
Shadow Lover-Xilafen flies or walks through a crowd of enemies her wings open and feathers falling from them. Any who fall under her spell (most who get touched by a feather) become very peaceful. With each exhale a light blue mist comes out of her nostrils and all the touched who breathe it in sigh happily and fall down dead. Their souls follow her until she is done, encouraging others to join them. Making it more powerful with each death.
Destrier-Basically, a killing machine. Her dark colours become pitch black and her light areas become midnight blue. Her featheredges and hooves become razor sharp, able to cut through steel like warm butter. Her skin becomes like steel, hard to pierce, but still allows her to move freely. She run/flies and attacks everything in her path, her eyes glow bright blue and her screams making her enemies think of the worst ways to die.
