This is a double battle with no time limit. There are no banned moves, and the arena is the Tiny Tourney Indoor Arena; a medium sized, dome-like arena in a canary yellow colour. As a result, weather-based attacks will not work.

Coin flip tells me Dark Tyranitar selects first; Dragonis will attack first. Any queries on which Pokemon you feel can be eligible, just PM me; but if you want to be safe, stick with first-stage and non-evolvers.

Okies, I'm not exactly sure if "Double battle" means that I send out 2 at one go, or if I send out one Pokemon now, and when it's KO'ed then I send out my second. However, to save time..

I'll use Tsuyuna, my Togepi.

If we require two Pokemon at one go, I'll send Tell Tall Tales, my dear Natu.

With that sorted out... Then I'll send out my Growlithe, Cal, my Meowth, Chance. Both male.

Cal, I want you to start off with a Safeguard for both you and Chance. Then Dragonbreath the Togepi, and follow up shortly with a Flamethrower on it.

Chance, use Swift to start off the round, and then use Faint Attack on the Natu, and while your on top of him, use Bite .

*Prebattle*

A brilliant day for a Tournament battle. Exciting as a tournament already is, this is double the excitement, seeing that’s it’s double the pokemon ^^. Both trainers already set a good record for themselves as refs AND battlers. Let’s just see how they handle their small pokemon in this second round of the THE TINY TOURNAMENT!

*Round One Begins*

After all pokemon had been send out and commands had been shouted through whole of the dome, everyone is finally ready.

Cal, the Growlithe, sets up a protective shield on himself as soon as the round started, the white star barrier shines around him and Chance. Suddenly however, a soon as Cal came ot a rest, a fast approaching object came around. It was Tsuyana curled up! She smashes into Cal like a train, hurting him badly. Chance didn’t approve of Cal’s defensive start and starts this round more offensively, with a Swift. He jumps up and releases five stars. The starts fly through the sky hurting both Tsuyana, who just curled out again, and TTT. Tell Tell Tales however is searching for payback and launches a long streamed electric wave towards Chance who smiles, being protected by a safeguard.

Cal and Tsuyana both fire off a long ranged move. Cal fires off a red dragonflame while Tsuyana concentrates and launches a series of waterish circles. So both Dragon and Water energy collide in mid air, spreading their powers on both pokemon, huring them both as a result. Meanwhile Chance dissapears trying to pull of a Faintattack, but TTT uses a swift of her own and automaticly locates Change and shoots him down. TTT smiles.

Not getting tired off eachother, Cal and Tsuyana start another move war. Cal breathing deeply, picking up his strong fire energy fires it forwards into a long stream. Tsuyana uses the same move as before and that wouldn’t play in her advantidge this time. Both attacks collide again, but Cal’s natural fire power is much stronger and went through the water, hurting Tsuyana badly. Chance rushes forwards this time after a failed last attack and bites TTT in the right wing, hurting her badly. TTT however, strikes through the pain and attaches herself to Chance, draining energy from him.

Tsuyuna baby, why don't you go give Cal a Present, then Tri-attack him, finish with a Yawn at whichever opponent is nearer and/or looking at you.

TTT, aim a Toxic at Chance, he's paralysed, might make it harder for him to move. Faint attack next to avoid any possible attacks, go for Chance too, finally, Toxic again on whichever opponent isn't being Yawned at.

Eh - I believe I ordered the safeguard to be placed around Cal and Chnace - as the ASB DEF allows Safeguard to be set up for a partner.

Oh, sure. ^^

The user creates a dome of pure white energy around it, which absorbs any attack, prevents noise or wind from hitting it, and prevents visual attacks such as Flash, Taunt and the like. Unlike Protect, Safeguard is usually set up right before the attack would make contact, but Safeguard can be expanded to whatever size the user wishes, protecting allies at a significant energy cost. As the aura starts within the body, all Pokemon which the user does not want in the Safeguard will be pushed away as if being hit by a moving wall.

Yeah, you can expand it to whatever size need be, so why wouldn't it cover both Pokémon? And I doubt it'd cost extra energy if he was just using Safeguard on his Ally. It also says "allies" denoting it can protect more than one. So it can protect both the user and its allies if specified.

At least, that's how I've interpreted it and seen it reffed.

Well, the Safeguard will protect you from the Yawn and Toxic attacks, so lets use it to our advantage.

All right, Cal, when that Togepi throws the Present at you, use Flamethrower to try and incenerate it/make it blow up before it hits you - and hopefully you'll get that Togepi. Next Body Slam that Togepi to the floor, hopefully it'll stop her attack if you get there before it launches, if not, take the attack and make sure you pin her to the ground, and stay on top of her.

She can then Yawn all she wants into your fur, not that it'll do much good. For your last move, use Flamewheel to burn the Togepi under you.

Chance, the Safeguard should protect you from Toxic, but never the less, use Faint Attack to dodge and get on top of the Natu - pounce on it with the attack, and then immediatly Bite him, and hang on. Natu can't get away from you or hide from you if you've got your teeth sunk into it. Finish off with a Thunder attack.

Just a question. HIAGT has posted an attack Toxic on one of Saffire's pokemon, but they have safeguard up. I forgot to put up Safeguard around Chance aswell, so will HIAGT redo attacks or one attack now?

Some people don't ref safeguard as protecting both Pokemon. I don't. If that doesnt apply to you, simply have the attack hit the safeguard and fade away.

if you do basically all of my attacks would be ineffective wouldn't they? And *coughs* looking at the amount of things Safeguard can prevent, wouldn't it be justified that a lot more energy is used up since it's gonna last four whole rounds?

I use the defenition of: Safeguard nullifies all status attacks (like Toxic, etc.) and can be expanded to whatever size is necessairy (paying more energy ofcourse given the size). Visual attacks DO work, and it' DOESN'T absorb any attack. It's just a shiny armor to protect from status afflictions that can be set on various pokemon.

Okay,

Cal, I want you to use Flamethrower to blow try to blow up that Present the Togepi is sending you, and hopefully you'll scorch it as well. Then preform an Agility + Body Slam on that Togepi. Use Agility to dodge the Tri-Attack, and to help bolster the impact of Body Slam on that Togepi. That should keep it from continuing its next attack, with you on top of its small body.

Chance, I want you to use Faint Attack as the Natu tries to use Psychic on you. The dark-type energy will hopefully make it harder for Natu to locate you - as PSychic attacks don't effect dark types - and strike the Natu. Next, Natu should be using a Faint Attack on you. What I want you to do is gather the electricity around you - charge it up, I guess, and wait to release it until the Natu hits you. Hopefully when the Natu strikes you, she'll get a nice shock from the electricity building in your fur enough so you can get the bird from wherever it strikes, and hit him with the Thunderbolt you've been holding in.

Next, focus a Shockwave on Natu.

*Round Two Begins*

Tsuyana rushes firts, creating a present and throwing it towards Cal. Cal, the fast pokemon as he is, quickly spews out a strong deepred Flamethrower and destroys the present before it could reach him. Then, TTT uses Psychic on Chance. Chance however, dissappears and gets startled a bit by the psychic attack, but the darktype energy protects him a bit, as he connects with TTT and smacks him down, ending the psychic torture.

A Tri attack is getting loaded between the small hands of Tsuyana, she powers up and fires it towards Cal. Cal however uses his fast boost Agility to dodge it and jump ontop of Tsuyana, crushing it with a Body Slam. Tsuyana is stuck and can’t preform any movements anymore.

Chance is powering up aswell as he collects electricity inside his fur and body. TTT dissapears as Chance did a couple of minutes ago and smacks Chance. The electricity surging through Chance’s body, made TTT freeze for a moment. That moment was just long enough for Chance to get up quickly and unleash the electricity that was stored inside him.

Wanting revenge, TTT picks out Chance as the target for his next psychic attack and tortures him like crazy. Chance would have fainted if he did not release another electric fury onto the crispy feathers of TTT. Both pokemon lay on the ground, hurt.

All right. Cal, start off with a Flamewheel to burn up that Togepi under you. Then jump off of the Togepi, spring back, and tackle him with a Flamewheel again to send him flying. End with a Dragon Breath .

If the Togepi tries any evasive moves I.e Teleport, Double Team, use Swift

Chance, lets focus on the bird now. Start off with an Icy Wind to chill the Natu. Next, use Shockwave to track him down wherever he might go, and finish off with the same move.

However, if the Natu tries any Psychic attacks, use Faint Attack to lesson the effect.

oh yeah, number one, even when BodySlammed, Tsuyuna should still be able to attack right? she's in a little shell so..she won't be able to get up, but that shouldn't hinder attacks right?

Anyway...
Tsuyuna, start off with a large localised ShadowBall, it won't hurt you cos you're a normal, but it'll cause that growlithe a world of pain. Continue with a Water Pulse to knock that Growlithe and his flamewheel back.
end with a AncientPower for some nice rock damage.

TTT, Mimic Growlithe's Flamewheel, the icy wind shouldn't hurt so much then, before that Chance can use shock wave, teleport up above the arena as high as you can, since SP specified that Chance has to use Faint Attack for any Psychic attack, you'll be safe. As gravity takes control, use your small wings to angle yourself towards either Chance or Cal, and land on them, whacking nice and hard with Steel Wing. If you cannot land on any of them or if you may injure your teammate, just before you hit the ground, use your Psychic powers to lift yourself really high up, you're small so it shouldn't be a problem.

*Round Three Begins*

Cal and Tsuyana are still ontop eachother and Cal starts to warm up his body, a sudden flame appearence scared Tsuyana and she’s getting fried, but suddenly she regains her confidence and fires a Shadowball at Cal, bouncing him off her. Meanwhile TTT had mimiced Cal’s Flamewheel, but Chance fires an Icy wind at the Natu and he’s blown backwards, a little bit frozen.

Then, TTT Teleports himself up high in the air, making Chance trigger into a Faint attack, but if fails seeing that TTT is to high up. Cal uses another Flamewheel and rushes forwards to Tsuyana who washes him off with a Waterpulse. Cal screechs.

TTT rushes down with her wings colored silver, Chance shoots her with Shock Wave and the little thing is hurt badly, but manages to see through and crash into Chance.

Meanwhile, Tsuyana was preparing an Ancientpower, but gets blasted out her attack by a strong Dragonbreath. Cal stands behind her, with a smile.
