Hinoryu vs. kitsun

Well, since I'm procrastinating on writing anyway, I might as well give this a whirl. 4 on 4 match. Unevolved pokemon only. 1 week DQ, no banned moves.

The arena is .hack//G.U. stage, Delta Server, area keywords Setting Daybreak's Slacker. It's a nighttime field, a moonlit grassy plain, with the Crest Gun (A large cannon the size of a skyscraper) visible in the background. Also, at times, you may encounter a Lucky Animal. Attacking it, even with as little as a kick, could give you any of a wide array of benefits, including it attacking your opponent, healing you, recovering your energy, or giving you a special item. However, be careful, it could be a well-disguised Unlucky Animal, which can heal your opponent, curse you, or even just outright attack you with something resembling Explosion. It's all a matter of luck (and how nice the Ref is, I suppose.)

Also, one more point to mention. The Crest Gun is charging, and thirty turns in, it will fire at the sky. Once it fires, the land the combatants are standing on will be destroyed by the shockwave, automatically KOing whatever current Pokemon is out, and forcing both players to only use Pokemon that can swim. Afterwards, fire from the result of the Crest Gun firing may rain from the sky, dealing fire-type Hail-ish damage to both pokemon out that is actually, somehow, may not be resisted by type...

So, taking on any comer willing to use this crazy place, where we're essentially at the mercy of the ref.

So, do the swimmers have to be water types, or do they merely need appendages required to swim. and what about fliers/levitators? I'd be willing to join, but I don't have any water types, so I'm afraid of DQ by unable to participate pokemon.

I would referee...BUT I'm basically clueless to the whole setting thing. (I used to play the original .hack games, but I sold them after getting bored with the final game and not getting very far. I might try out that .hack//GUI thing.) Someone else will have to ref, sorry.

I would assume they just have to be logically able to swim. IE, an Onix wouldn't work, but a Mankey would do just fine.

And Shuppet, I recommend GU wholeheartedly. Best PS2 game I've ever played... Other than Katamari, at least.
