    Default CHALLENGE!! I need Battlers...

    STARGATE
    ARENA

    Okay, I’m a dork and love the show. And I wanted to ref a match that is centered around my favourite TV show.

    The are a couple of main points that I must point out before the challengers accept this arena.

    1. The Stargate cannot be destroyed by any means, the device however, that controls the Stargate can. If this happens the Stargate will activate and dial out to a world with a Dialling Device, at the end of that round, both Pokemon will travel through the gate and arrive at a different arena.
    2. You can tell your Pokemon to dial out, but doing so will take up an action. i.e: Slash ~ Dial Out ~ Hyper Beam. However, when you tell a Pokemon to go through the gate, you can have it do another action. Like Hyper Beaming on its way through for example.
    3. When you successfully dial out, the Stargate can remain connected to the destination for two rounds, at the end of second round, it will disengage and power down. Either Pokemon can then dial out next turn.
    4. Each world is different and unique, don’t be discourage when you dial to a world and it doesn’t fit your exact liking.
    5. At times, you will encounter the Jaffa (the guys with the stick weapons) and their God (Whether it be Hathor, Apophis, Ra, Anubis, Qetesh, Baal or any other god I pick…). If you attack and ‘faint’ a Jaffa, their God will laugh and be amused, with the possibility of a power up to that Pokemon. Hit the God however, and you’ll be in for a nasty surprise. If the Jaffa doesn’t ‘faint’, you can expect a counter attack.
    6. You cannot pick which planet you go too, it’s random.

    Arenas:

    Gate Room / Earth / Stargate Command Center
    *Battle Begins Here*
    Plain room with a Stargate in the center of it. It’s mostly concrete, with a large glass panel on the opposing wall which reveals the dialling room. Two heavy doors block access to the halls exiting the gate room, and you cannot break the glass. When you order your Pokemon to Dial Out, Walter (the dialling dude) will dial out for you.

    Goa’uld Mothership / Space / In the Presence of Several Jaffa and their God
    *Steel, Ghost and Psychic Attack Boost*
    A room lined with gold hieroglyphs and golden pillars. The gate is opposing the throne of the God, who is guarded by several Jaffa. The Dialling Device is on the left side of the Stargate.

    Dakara / Seat of the Free Jaffa / Some Jaffa wandering about
    *Rock, Dark, and Fire Attack Boost*
    A stone room that looks more like a tomb then anything else, the lack of a proper roof lets the hot sun poor in. The Stargate is located on a raised platform, while its dialling device is near a sealed door.

    P3X – 888 / Homeworld of the Goa’uld
    *Water, Grass, and Bug Attack Boost*
    A beautiful lush world with forests all around and a lake nearby. The lake itself is home to Goa’uld symbiotes that could and will take over a Pokemon if they get the chance. They will remain in the Pokemon for a random amount of time before the Pokemon’s immune system kills it. The Pokemon who is infected has gold glowing eyes, is extremely hostile, and may ignore orders for a more blunt attack. That said, they will receive a physical attack boost while their special attack suffers. The Dialling device is at the shore of the lake.

    P3R – 636 / Slave Labour for the Gods
    *Fighting, Ground, Normal Attack Boost*
    A place that is for the most part sand with a pyramid entrance nearby that leads to the Gate and the Dialling Device. Some lush, green trees are thrown about, and sometimes a God will sit in the empty thrown chair. Some Jaffa are always about, more are around when a God is about. If a Pokemon is possessed by a Goa’uld, the slaves will avoid them, fearful of punishment.

    Tollana / Advance Planet / Home to the Tollan
    *Flying, and Electric Attack Boost*
    A place that is highly advanced. Most of the buildings are constructed with white stone. The Stargate is Located in the Main Square along with its Dialling Device. Very few Tollans will stay around once the Pokemon start to battle, if the Pokemon is possessed by a Goa’uld, absolutely no Tollans will stay around.

    Antarctica / Earth / Unable to Dial From Earth
    *Ice, and Dragon Attack boost*
    Located oddly enough on Earth, this Stargate is hidden in an icy cave. This location cannot be dialled from the gate room. Other then it being extremely cold, there is nothing special about this arena.

    Battlers can decide the banned moves and such, I would like this to be a two on two or even a three on three, one out at a time. Because I hate tag teams.

    Who will accept the challenge and travel through the Stargate??

    Sure, I'm up for it. But a quick question - what're the terms of this battle? How many pokemon will we be using? What's the DQ? Etc.

    Well, um... You can decided the banned moves and such but... I guess I'll do it.

    I'm not sure if this is the right move, but oh well...

    Let's begin aggressively, with a stone edge! Follow up with discharge... and I would like you to use Earth Power 'cause the name sounds cool..
    but if being in an enclosed room like that with no "natural" earth means you can't use it, then sub that with Rock Polish.

    Knock him off balance, Clotho, with Earthquake! Then, confuse him with Double Team. Finally, use Will-O-Wisp!

    The Stargate activates suddenly, Walter, who was ordered to keep an eye on the gate sets the alarm. This is an unscheduled off-world activation, something that has proven to be dangerous on more then one account. He attempts to shut the gate down, preventing anyone from coming through. Alas he watches stunned as the gate ignores its orders and completes the sequence, the blue, water like energy exploding forth unstably before fading back into the ring. Everyone in the control room watches on edge as a creature comes through. It’s a Nosepass! It looks around curiously as the Stargate shuts down. A loud moan echoes in the gate room, phasing in from another dimension is a Dusclops, and he looks angry. Intent on keeping the two monsters in the gate room, Walter locks it down, two heavy steel doors slam shut on the only two exits…

    Normand doesn’t hesitate, he has hunted Clotho across the galaxy, and finally the ghost type has no where to run. He moves surprisingly fast, charging with his left arm brought back and ready to strike. Clotho however, knows a few tricks. He lets out a moan and stomps hard onto the ground. The entire base shakes suddenly, but alas it doesn’t do much, being the entire base is made of concrete and it’s stabilized (6 DMG @ Normand, 5 ENG @ Clotho). Normand reaches his opponent and delivers a powerful hit to Clotho, forcing the ghost type back (12 DMG @ Clotho, 4 ENG @ Normand).

    Realizing that he must go on the defensive for a time, Clotho concentrates for just a moment and splits into four, one, of course, being himself (3 ENG @ Clotho). Normand grunts; he’s being force to choose; at most Discharge can hit two clones, but not all of them. He gathers whatever electrical energy is inside of him and lets it fly! The energy crashes into only one, but it happens to be the right one! Clotho howls in rage as the sparks hit his body and give him a nasty jolt (8 DMG @ Clotho, 4 ENG @ Normand).

    Recovering from the last attack, Clotho spews bright blue embers at Normand. They singe the rock type’s skin; doing minor damage… For now (3 ENG @ Clotho). Normand uses his senses; he can feel the faint energies of the earth around his place and quickly calls out to him. A deep grey and brown orb appears in front of the rock type, at the last moment, the orb turns to what looks like a shard of crystal encased in deep brown earth. It flies towards Clotho and slams into him. Doing good damage (7 DMG @ Clotho, 4 ENG @ Normand).

    Shadow Punch first, then use Psychic to hurl him into a wall. Finally, use Future Sight! However, Counter any physical attacks that come your way.

    Too bad ghosts are immune to explosions..
    Lessee, Normand, let that ghostie boy come all the way to you to Shadow Punch and thunder wave right at him, paralysis rocks! After that, Lock On and finish off with Zap Cannon! Because I've always wanted to use those attacks! XD

    Clotho and Normand stare each other down best they can, before the ghost makes a move. It looms closer to the rock type, who is slightly sparking with electricity. Clotho’s fist is flaming with deep purple energy that is brought down hard on Nosepass (9 DMG @ Normand, 2 ENG @ Clotho). Normand reacts quickly, the static electricity travels from his body into Dusclops, who is forced away as he feels the paralysis (3 ENG @ Normand).

    Normand sees his chance and takes it, he intently watches Clotho, fixed on him, and there’s little point now in evasive moves (2 ENG @ Normand). But Clotho isn’t interested in evading; his mind reaches out and wraps itself around the rock type, before slamming him repeatedly into the wall and final the protective glass that guards the dialling room (9 DMG @ Normand, 4 ENG @ Clotho). He then drops the Nosepass who locks onto Dusclops again.

    Clotho freezes, his body refuses to move and static sparks from his body as he is forced onto his knees. The paralysis has struck! It seizes his lungs and makes it impossible to concentrate, instead he attempts to fight it off (4 ENG @ Clotho). Normand, if he could, would be smiling. As he watches his helpless opponent twitch from the static energy, he begins to create a massive, unstable sparking ball in front of him. It grows larger and larger, turning into a hardly controlled ball of lightning. Normand lets it go, and it zig-zags and wobbles through the air uncontrollably until it slams dead into Clotho (12 DMG @ Clotho, 6 ENG @ Normand) The paralysis kicks into overdrive as it gains a considerable boost from that attack.

    Whoot! Now that we're locked on, let's use Zap Cannon again! I'm tempted to say use it all three times!
    ...but if anything prevents you from using it as your second and third attack or he does something to reduce the effectiveness of electric attacks, use Stone Edge then Rollout

    Keep your movements minimal to reduce the risk of your muscles locking up. For starters, disable him from using Zap Cannon. Then, counter his Stone Edge! Finally, let's have some fun - dial the gate...!

    With a growing crowd of spectators in dialling room, both Pokemon prepare for another round. Nosepass begins to charge up another lethal ball of electrical energy while Clotho’s eyes glow a pale pinkish hue (5 ENG @ Clotho). The electrical ball suddenly goes array and slams into the gate. Normand is confused, what happened to his Zap Cannon? Why can’t he use it (6 ENG @ Normand)?

    Following his instructions, Normand ‘races’ towards Clotho; arm ready for another hearty stone edge jab. Clotho braces himself, praying that the paralysis doesn’t kick in. Nosepass shoots his arm out and slams it into Clotho again (13 DMG @ Clotho, 4 ENG @ Normand). To the rock pokemon’s surprise though, the ghost type as grabbed a hold of the arm. Growling in annoyance for the pain this Pokemon can caused him, Clotho bring his free hand back and then launches it into Normand’s face (21 DMG @ Normand, 4 ENG @ Clotho). A hearty crack can be seen spreading across Normand’s face.

    Angered, Normand begins to spin, and roll around the room, picking up more and more momentum before turning to Clotho. Clotho is glaring at Walter, and lets out a low moan and points at the Stargate. Walter, magically understanding, types away on the computer. The ring begins to turn; locking in one symbol after another. Normand can hear the ring dialling and speeds towards Clotho, slamming him (5 DMG @ Clotho, 2 ENG @ Normand) just as the seventh symbol is locked and the gate activates; opening a watery portal to another world.

    ‘We’re still on Earth, Xhin…’

    Clotho: using the pain that is racing through his body as the doubler for power. Glows pure white and stares evilly at Normand, who is concentrating and placing an annoying curse on the ghost type (4 ENG @ Normand). Clotho, ignoring the curse that could potentially do him massive harm; charges at Normand and delivers a pounding (12 DMG @ Normand, 3 ENG @ Clotho).

    Normand recovers, he watches as his opponent cannot use his ordered move (3 ENG @ Clotho) because of the curse happily. He sparks dangerously and fires a bolt of lightning that sends the ghost flying (12 DMG @ Clotho, 6 ENG @ Normand) right into the watery surface of the Stargate. Normand blinks and quickly fallows.

    Clotho comes flying out of the other end of the Stargate and crashes into the ground, pained greatly. He groans, looking around, he finds he’s near the shore of a beautiful lake, with forest surrounding the beach. Normand soon appears, exiting the Stargate just as it shuts down. Normand continues his assault; his body sparking and charging before another lethal bolt of lightning sends Clotho flying towards the lake (12 DMG @ Clotho, 6 ENG @ Normand). Clotho sparks wildly, his paralysis prevents him from even trying his façade move (4 ENG @ Clotho).
