Well, a volcano sounds like fun, and since i don't have any water ice types, i'll go with soemthing fire resistant! Go Ourion (Male Dratini)

I beleive i attack first...

Ourion, start out with a Dragon Dance. Then, send out a Twister to rock that Houndoom! Finally, attack with a dragon breathe.

===Round 1===

Here we are, in the crater of dormant volcano. A novel idea, as Ourion slithers up, unaffected by the heat. To oppose Ourion in this battle for supremacy, a nasty looking Houndoom named Astarte is released. Both Pokemon are given orders, and the match starts! Astarte Spots the Dratini shifting around, preforming some intricate dance, but before the benefits are completly given to Ourion, Astarte ran over and looked deep into the Dratini's eyes. All of a sudden, Astarte got stronger. Snatched it right from Ourion

Astarte: -3E +1 Atk ==///== Ourion: -3E

Liking the free boost, Astarte then follows up with a ball of blue fire, threatening to descend upon Ourion. The small snake-like figure would continue to spin in a circle, until a Twister was made. The winds were strong enough to douse the flame before it even touched his skin.

Astarte: -3E/-2H ==///== Ourion: -3E

Seeing his first idea failed, Astarte switched to a more offensive strategy. Ourion fired a straight sniping Dragonbreath at Astarte. He took the brunt of the hit, and then struck the little Pokemon with a taste of his own medicine-a Payback attack that Ourion wasn't really expecting.

Alright, let's counter the Dark Pulse with a Dragon Pulse! Then, hit with a Swift in order to get rid of those clones or at least hit the real one. Finally, throw out a twister to ruin that shadowball!

===Round 2===

Ourion stares down the Houndoom with his beady little eyes. Serpentine body lifts up and rears back, volleying forth a Draconic Pulse of energy! It flies in an arc ironically, so Astarte takes a second to jump back and rear his attack to follow the same trajectory. The Darkened Pulse he emits collides with the incoming Dragon Pulse and for a moment, both blasts keep each other at bay. They then swirl together, exploding in a flurry of purple and black glitter. Neither Pokemon was hurt by the resulting explosion.

Astarte: -7E ==///== Ourion: -7E

While Astarte takes one second too long to notice the dissipating clouds, Ourion is on the offensive again. Swift stars come speeding out, catching the dog right on his nose a few times. He whimpers, and covers his face, splitting into copies as he does this.

Smirking that he got his hit in first, Orion slithers a lil' closer. but Astarte's whimpering act was a facade! Teeth bared, fangs were parted slightly, holding a sphere of ominous energy within. Ourion freaked, and quickly summoned some energy to form into a Twister to try and repel that Shadowball, but the Twister was ripped asunder! Ourion ..squealed as he was blasted back aways by the Shadowball.

Hurl a Sludge Bomb at that Dragon Pulse, then use Faint Attack JUST as the Water Pulse fires to get out of the way and attack at the same time. Finish with an Iron Tail, methinks.

===Round 3===

Ourion, miffed a tad that this female Houndoom is still doing really well, changes strategy. Relying on his own element, a Pulse of energy is fired at Astar. Astar backs up swiftly, and regurgitates some godawful substance, somehow making an aerial Bomb of Sludge. The two attacks miss each other however, and each Pokemon kinda wonder how that occurred as they slam into the opponents respectively. Well no 'cause that was just a clone for Astarte.

Only, Ourion is pretty sure some of that crap got in his mouth.

Stung a bit more by that Pulse than she would have liked,Astarte decides to take initiative this time. Her jaws spring open, and she howls, before fading into the night. Ourion-upon recollecting his last glimpse of her, turns to fire a Watery Pulse of energy at her...only to see that she's gone.

Puzzled. You would be too. Especially when she struck Orion across the face a few second later, having Attacked from the shadows. Ourion's Pulse went flying wild.

Miffed at the 4 dogs left, Ourion notes he's now laterally positioned to the hounds. Astar doesn't and while she gears up to smash Ourion's back with her Iron laden Tail, a Thunderbolt rips free from the slithery dragon, shocking her and all the clones to oblivion! The Iron Tail misses, giving Ourion something to breathe easy for.

===Round 4===

The small serpent found himself completely unimpressed with Astarte at this moment. He slithered to and fro, but everywhere he went, there was Astarte. Stopping at the paws of the Houndoom, he turned to see a pack of six ravenous fire-hounds barking at him.

Fine. He threw his anger out in the form of a Blizzard. Ice shards built up above his head, before flying every which way. A thick swath was cut, eliminating the clones and throwing Astarte back. That stung a bit!

Astarte: -4E/-7H ==///== Ourion: -10E

Since the clones were his only concern, Ourion shifted gears. He had to turn this around somehow. Billowing bluish energy swarmed around his head, and suddenly blasted forward in a thick Pulse. To counteract the Dragon's attack Astarte did the same thing, resulting in a Dark Pulse that collided with the incoming. Both Pokemon held their ground, until their Pulses combined and created a small explosion which both were slightly scarred from.

Astarte: -8E/-6E ==///== Ourion: -8E/-6H

Feeling as if they were equal ground, Astarte tried to mess with the little dragons mind. She padded around in a circle, kinda demeaning his presence, since he WAS just a lil ol' baby dwagon. Ourion glared, and felt his anger surge. He was confused as to why it surged, but he didn't care. Serpentine body began to thrash around, as he threw a FIT! The unpredictability of his movements caught her off guard, and she suddenly found herself dealing with hyper-pitched waves of anger! The Outrage worked, but it still left Ourion confused and pissed.

A second cough from Ourion, this still wasn't going too well.

Extremespeed to get around her and strike hard. Then, use another Outrage to throw her back abit. Finally, relax at the end of the round. You need a slight break for my plans next time

===Round 5===

Ourion was still peeved at the hound. So much, that his next attack was blinding fast. Streaking across the landscape with nothing more than his little head being the battering force, Ourion shot faster than Astar was expecting. Even though the damn Pokemon was acting erractie, he still ended up going the right way!

She went to evade, but Ourion got her by the leg, his speed knocking her off balance. Astar rolled onto her side, and quick righter herself, vanishing into the darkness. Ourion, happy his extreme attack worked, turned to see...no limp body?

A decisive crack across his face brought Ourion back into the match, as Astarte slammed her paw onto his snout.

Astarte: -6E/-6H ==///== Ourion: -5E/-8H

Miffed she snuck up on him, Ourion began a huge temper tantrum. He was Outraged, and it showed. Astarte tried to evade, but a serpent's body moves far too erratically for that. As she got hit over and over by the wriggling snake, an auburn hue began to rise in intensity. When the thickest portion of Ourion came to slam down on Astarte's back, she quickly snagged it in her jaws, and whipped her neck around, flinging the Dratini up before slamming him down-effectively countering the Outrage. The pain thrown back at Dratini was immense, and he cried in pain.

Astarte: -6E/-13H ==///== Ourion: -8E/-22H

Hurt, and sore from the powered up Counter, Ourion lied still, trying to relax. Astarte left him be, bouncing back a few paces. But-from the smoldering cinders leaving her mouth, that did not look to be the case.

The cinders soon turned into a massive rage of fire, that erupted from Astar, and surged throughout the arena. Ourion screamed and rolled backwards, scorched. Astar bounded forth from her Overheat, tired but still as fierce as ever.

And to add insult to injury, Ourion still was sick. Damnit that round went bad.

Tired and battered. Ourion looked over...and god damnit, Astarte was not there again. Knowing full well what that meant, Ourion took his anger out in a massive yell, expelling energy into the sky as he did so. The second his yell was over, he was struck from Astarte on his left side.

Astar stared him down, but was then met with a most mysterious sound from the heavens. A light shone, and suddenly, Meteors from space came raining down on him! Draconic energy swarmed all around this rogue storm, smashing Astarte all around, completely unexpected! This match is NOT over yet.

Unassuming of the dire situation Ourion was in, Astar sat down, stunned a bit from that Meteor Barrage! As she sat there, Ourion slithered over and fired a Hyper Beam directly into her face. I mean, seriously the Houndoom let the Dratini open its mouth charge up the ball of light, and fire it point blank. She fearless, yo.

Granted, the Beam was not as powerful or large as it should have been, but still!
