So... who do you guys want to see at new mods on TPM?

Who is worthy, and why?

Drusilla: RPG is pretty much dead, but if anybody can revive or at least make it decent again, it's Dru. She's imaginative, clever, and has more than enough of what it takes to be a Mod. Which, in the case of the RPG staff, is simply BEING a MOD.

Heald: Far as I know, he was a Mod once before. I say reinstate him so he can shove a boot up the collective asses of quite a few people here who require it. Dunno WHERE he'd Mod, though...

And, of course...

Blademaster: Friendly enough, not-at-all corruptible by power, able to kick ass and take names when need be (BANNED, FUCKFACE.), little enough of a life to be the second-most-active member of the forum behind mr_pikachu. A vote for Blade is a vote for fun!

Put me in either Misc. or Fanfic - I can boss around the most people that way.

Actually Blade, I've never been a mod.

However, I will make some recommendations:

Outlaw JT - Not as active as he used to be, but I'll stand by him now and say he was a good RPG mod.

Blademaster - What can I say? I'll enjoy the inevitable anarchy that would follow in its wake?

Green Lanturn - He's done a good job running the Werewolf games and is as active a member as I can see. I don't have a problem in recommending him.

If JT was as active as he once was, I'd love to see him as mod again. I really wish he'd come back, period.

Green Lanturn, good idea. He has put a lot of work into the Werewolf Game. He's got a lot of dedication, and he's always a good sport.

Blademaster and Heald. Ehehehe... Heald and Blade as mods would just tickle me pink. You want life brought back, that would be a good way to do it. They both participate in many threads, and I'd be hard put to find more active members. XD I'd love it, I can't lie. That would be great.

And so it's not just us nominating the same people...

Crystal Tears for one of the interactive forums. Young, bright, creative... what more can you want? Yes, I love her like a little sister, but I really think she'd have a lot to bring forth.

Mew Master, while being busy as hell, would also make a good interactive mod. I don't know how he finds time for everything, because I sure as hell couldn't. The boy's got serious talent, as well.

Though agreed. Certain boards do need a wakeup and there are a few Current Mods who are just so used to being in the position they just get on with things in the background letting the other mods do the housekeeping etc. There are a few active people that could wake them/torch them, which ever is good.

RPG - Drusilla - I do agree that Dru would be a good choice for RPG, seeing as she is one of the more active members of RPG, and always seems to have good posts and knows her way around.

ASB - Darkestlight - despite having 4 current mods, I feel that apart from Hypotenuse Man, Darkestlight is the next most active person in ASB, taking up many battles and reffing a lot too...Im not exactly sure if he's a Mod elsewhere, but either way, hes done a good job there.

PCG - dont really have a nomination here....


I can only really say I hang around these forums, so to nominate elsewhere wouldnt be advisable.

Well, I haven't been around here much time, and I don't socialize much but...

Poryhedron - (advanced or classic gen) - He has helped a lot of members in this area, so he should be a good mod at any of these.

Blademaster - Altough I miss the "old" fun style, his "new" fun style can make one laugh. Plus he's been here for a long time, if I'm not mistaken. I think he should be good for misc. or PCG (careful randomizer, Blade could be boss soon around you)

mr_pikachu (supermod) - I don't know what it takes to be a supermod, but I sure know that mr_pikachu has been a help almost everywhere on TPM, plus he's already a veteran trainer, so he's been here for a long time.

Wooo such a interesting topic. Alright three names I believe would make good mods or replacements.

Heald I know he has a history of bucking authority, and some mods have very long memories * Looks at the mods who know who I am talking about *. But I believe the man has served this board faithfully for a very long time, he has the experience, and he has the creativity to be a Misc Mod.

Ultimate Charizard A few years ago I lead the charge against UC and JT, while I think JT would be a horrible mod and has not changed from the very valid complaints many had against him. I think the opposite of UC, and I think he also would be a very great mod for Misc, and becuase he has already been a mod, I think he would be able to slide very easy back into the role with out any on the job training.

Drusilla Oh Drusilla, so many times she has come so close to becoming mod of RPG. I think that if Kalah does leave, as she has contemplated many many times, that Dru would be a amazing replacement for her. Dru's own accomplishments have already been laid out multiple times not only in this topic but in previous ones so I wont retread on them.

And TPM wouldn't be all that bad off finding someone better than me for Advanced Generation!!

I'm surprised that no one has thought of classy as being a moderator for RPG. Yes, Drusilla is a great RPer (although right now she's on a hiatus), but the thing that I think classy should be at the top of the list for the reason that she is ALWAYS around. Always willing to talk, always willing to join an RPG... she's consistent.

But, seeing as RPG has three moderators right now, *shrug*
Oh, and all of you saying 'oh this person will spark a flow of RPGs'... I sort of roll my eyes at. As of late, a new RPG sparks creativity and then it dies swiftly after. You mistake a moderator as being the one who makes a forum "hopping" when really, its the members themselves which determine that. I wish the members would step up and take ownership instead of always pointing fingers.

As for the other forums, I have no say. Mod Heald for a forum. I don't go to any forum really that consistant enough other than RPG to make a good opinion about it. lol

I said a Finnish swear word aloud when I saw that. Cool, though I feel a bit unready right now. Perhaps when my Japanese course starts to go along (about in a month) I could have the time. Plus, you'd have to bear my sometimes bad English.

I know I already posted here, but after taking a good look at the RPG Lounge topic, it's come to my attention that a LOT of the site needs reworking, and that includes new Mods pretty much everywhere. So, here's my list:


General: This place is pretty much a ghost town, but between this and Misc., I think that our current Mod staff (I believe it's only Austrian Vice Master Alex.) should be accompanied by Roy Karrde and Mikachu Yukitatsu. Roy watches Misc. like a hawk, and Mikachu welcomes all the newcomers with open arms. These three guys are enough to handle General and Misc., I think. Binary might even fit, too.

ASB: OK, so at the moment we have Hypotenuse_Man and Darkest_Light. Fair enough, but ASB is a big place. And a LOT of Mods have left it recently. I think more muscle is needed here. And considering how few active ASB members are still around, I think a good choice for this position would be Mew Master. Not as active as DL, but he's just as devoted and friendly. And good with mathemagics. He's a shoe-in.

RPG: As I said, THIS is why I'm posting here again. RPG is dying, and very quickly I might add. We need a new Mod staff, which is why, in the wake of my vote for Roy's relocation, I think Weasel Overlord should be replaced by Crystal Tears, and Drusilla and Heald should be added to the crew as well. Crys and Dru love RPG and have come up with most of its recent RPG's, and Heald is the one guy there who seems to come up with new ideas anymore.

Lastly, I stand by my original nomination that mr_pikachu should be Supermodded. The fact that he hasn't yet is really surprising.
