Symphony Serenade

::A this room opens and instantly you are welcomed with the sounds of classical music to your ears. The Room is shaped as if you were on an immense keyboard, all 88 keys. They light up when you stand on them too, but they don't play notes.

In the area where the CASIO logo would be, is an orchestra, with a conductor Kriketune at the ready. A small machine by his feet will spit out a ticket. He will read the ticket and then the orchestra will play a song from that musical genre. Your appeal basically has to go along with the theme (or words, if you know the song well enough) in any way, shape or form.

There will be 5 rounds in this Accumulation Challenge!

Well, the ticket machine has spat out the first music type...and lo and behold its...country n_n! The song that starts playing is...

Mephistopheles, make clones of you with double team (nine of them), have one wait in the center of the stage, you stand to stage *points to my left* that way, and have your doubles, stand around the stage in like a semi-circle.

-dim the lights, start the fog machine, cue the music-

(The Devil went down to Georgia; he was looking for a soul to steal) The real Mephistopheles, go on the field looking all twitchy and irritated to the music, with a golden violin strapped on your back. (He was in a bind, 'cause he was way behind, he was willing to make a deal. When he came across this young man)
Spot your doubleganger and trot to him up on the milkcrate cleverly disguised as a stump besides him.


Look as though you're having the discussion that's going on in the song.

Here have the clones sway their heads to the music


(The Devil opened up his case and he said, "I'll start this show!") Flip the case open with your snout and start up a mean flamethrower straight up, and have one clone faint attack straight across your flame so it looks like a bow shot out, now have four more join, one faint around the top so it looks like a head, one keep shooting back and forth so it looks like a bow, two make a wobble pattern under the bow for the fiddle playing to the music.

(Rocking demonic fiddle band music here)

Real Mephistopheles takes a seat

Now doublgegangper, prance and use a mean flamethrower straight up yourself, have all eight your doublegangers come and shape it while using flame thrower them self so it’s a massive violin player playing to the music. One do an arm, another do an arm, two shape the body, two for the violin, one do the bow, one does a leg, another does a leg.

("Fire on the Mountain." Run, boys, run!
Devil's in the House of the Risin' Sun.
Chicken in the breadpan picking out dough,
"Granny does your dog bite?" "No, child, no.")

(Devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat. and he laid that golden fiddle on the ground at Johnny's feet.) Real Mephistopheles, bow your head and slip of the violin and lay it at his feet

(Johnny said, "Devil, just come on back

I told you once, you son of a bitch
I'm the best there's ever been.)

Real Mephistopheles faint attack into the huge fiery violin player as though he just dissappeared.

Play,play,playing, as the 13th second approches fade out you legs then your body then your head, arms, head, and final just the bow and violin will remain at 5 seconds, until gone! The Real Mephistophelese remains, bow, pick up your golden violin, and exit stage *points to my right*

Double-Team~Flamethrower~Faint Attack

Ok I will be using my Charizard Wildfire. Wildfire lets concentrate on the devil's solo.

"The Devil opened up his case and he said, "I'll start this show!"

Here use a Scary Face to get the crowd into a sense of fear.

"Fire blew form his finger tips as he risened up his bow"

Start a Fire Spin here and maintain it.

"He pulled that bow across them strings and it made an evil hiss"
"Then a band of demons joined in and it sounded something like this"

While the guitar solo is going manipulate the fire around the stage (If you burn the whole building down it just adds to the drama) keep going till the end of the solo and finish the Devil's Solo off with a Air Cutter to extinguish all the flames and pose.

Ok. Houndy. You can keep that appeal. I just want to let you know, since I was told this last night-I may not have made it clear that

A) You don't HAVE to use the whole song-like Elf did, just a section will do.
B) If you don't like/don't know the Song in particular, then base your appeal on the theme (so country music as a whole). This goes for everyone else.

Hmm...begin with Grasswhistle and play a tune to corrospond to the music. Do a bit of country dancing then use Double Team to get a symphony of Grasswhistle. Finish by all stamping your feet and doing a short burst of Petal Dance to give the impression of exploding flowers. Do the Grasswhistle until Action 3.

Hmm... Everyone likes the devil, but Johnny beat him. So, lets have them beaten.

I release my female Misdreavus. It starts with a Will-o-Wisp, creating little balls of fire that dance to the devils music. The flames converge into a nearby point as Johnny tells the devil to sit down. Misdreavus uses Rain Dance extinguishing the will-o-wisp, and Psychic to make the rain's patter match Johnny's music.

Grand Festival!!!



*Fanfare plays*

Here we are everyone! The Epic stage that all Coordinators aspire for-the Grand Festival. We have quite a turn out this time; as well as an array of contests for them to test their mettle against each other.

I'll be reffing from atop this awesome floating flying disc so I can skim from arena to arena, keeping tabs on how things are working out. I'm currently hovering over the Orchestra pit of the Symphony Serenade, and our band is ready to play. Due to how everyone's appeals seem to actually mesh together well, they'll only have to go through this song twice!

#1: Crazy Elf Boy and Wildfire

Well, we've reached the Devil's solo in the song and Wildfire flies onto the stage, not missing a beat. The second he lands and the Devil speaks his line, a massively angered Charizard stares at the audience, enticing fear into even the boldest of men. Feeling satisfied that everyone knows he's playing the devil's solo, Wildfire opened his hand and caused a Fire spin to spring from the ground right in front of him.

As teh actual solo hit the ears of the audience, the Fires began to sway and splash about, reaching immense heights and it seemed that teh devil was actually causing them to dance with the music. Once the Solo ended though, a swift set of wingflaps would cause the flames to be Cut down to size.

Wildfire smirked and flew up as the band continued to play and the audioence cheered....

#2: Chaos and Misdreavus

Well Johnny's verse is up next, and Misdreavus floats in right on scheudule. The devils end solo is played again, allowing Missy to create a small batch of bluish flame that also dance along to tehe music, and float about devillishly. As Johnny's verse comes up, the flames all seem to drift to the right, right before a strange rainshower starts to come in, coolling the flames down as Johnny's solo plays. The violin's kick in and the rain helps intensify the beast as Misdreavus forces the water to hit the keyboard in sheets that correspond to the beat being played. As Johnny solo ends, so does the rain and Misdreavus floats off, to everyones approval....

#3: Rossymore and Petallion

Picking up the cue right after Johnny wins.. the Kriketune gets the Pokemon band to start playing. Petallion jumps onto the Casio keyboard and begins to dance over the keys in hi-step to the base tempo. As she does this, she begins a Grass whislte that calms the hectic nature of the song.

As she dances about, she realizes she'll need partners in order to do this right, so out split 5 more Roserades, and they each interlock hands, and dance around each other. The Whistling continues, and the orchestra compensates by taking out the heavier intruments so the Whistling can be heard even louder.

Right when the violin solo ends, the Petallion squad all raise their hands and stamp their feet on the keyboard, while releasing Petals high in the sky. This array of blossomage is visually overwhelming, as the music fades off in the background! The audience claps and Petallion leaves the stage.


#4: Houndy and Mephy
Double Team~Flamethrower~Faint Attack

Hoo boy

Mephy is a one man show as the song starts up once more-for a clean runthrough. The narration of the song will help me ref ths better, so I won't have to say as much. Mephy splits into nine clones and the clones are all far away except for three, one in the center, one to the left and one to the right, a yellow violin is strapped on Mephy's back, as he walks over to the doppleganger on the right. The two dogs begin to mark and snarl as the music plays...

When the talking in the song stops and the chorus hits, the Mephy's in the back all sway to the music. Mephy is feeling a strain though, having this much control has got to be nerve wracking, hence the twitching.

As the second verse hits, Mephy opens up a case nearby and releases a Flamethrower that one clone dashes through, and seems to turn into a thin black bow. Three more doom clones fall into place, and crate a silhouette of a violin with the flamethrower as the strings, while the 4th clone keeps faint attacking across. The Devils music plays while the "violin" is existing.

Mephy back up as the solo ends and the Doppleganer now walks forward and gets the other 8 clones to help turn the flames into a massive form of a violin player, we're talking head, feet, arms and violin. As the second solo starts, the doppleganers sway a bit so their flames look like the violin player is moving along and playing.

Solo ends-and Mephy slides the violin off his back..before dashing off into the firey violin player. The dopplegangers (now losing power and steam fast) all play and fade out from the ground up, until the flames become a faint memory. Mephy-visibly out of breath, walks over and grabs the violin, before walking off stage. Cue Clapping, and done.

#1) Elf and Wildfire
Score: 8.5/10

A nice way of showing the devil's part. I'm also glad you didn't try to burn the place down actually >>...It was solid and the flames ending with the music abruptly was great.


#2) Chaos and Missy
Score: 8.7/10

This was almost a reverse of the previous appeal. Nice execution for the solo, and strong finish, but the Rain Dance control make it cool because we just been through the firey hell. Great way to build off of what was already done. Controlling the water to hit with the music also was a fine touch.

#3) Rossy and Petallion
Score: 8.6/10

This was unexpected. You made your appeal not to the words, but to be seen as enjoyable romp, which was great.Good' ol ho-down! The flashy petals at the end was fun to look at, I didn't feel as if I was having to listen tot the story-rather to the beat..

#4) Houndy and Baron
Score: 8.8/10

That was long. It was an extra long and extra powerful visual appeal. Though Mephy showed signs of fatigue, he pulled it off. There's no penalty for length, it was just long. But you played the whole story out, so that was cool. I'm impressed moreso you used only three attacks the whole time too. That took alot of careful thought.
