Well, seeing as the birthday topic was closed before I could respond to my birthday messages, I'll just do it here.

So - thanks to everyone for the wishes. And Tara, you made me all mushy and sentimental too. Seven years? God... we were so young. All those teenage angsty chats haha. I miss that kind of.

I had a couple of things for my 21st - a family dinner and stuff on the actual night of my birthday, then on the following (Saturday) night, I had a bunch of mates over for drinks and a barbie and drinks and drunken dancing and more drinks. I eventually passed out happily at around 6.30am. (Actually, kind of unhappily, I'd wanted to see the sun rise but I flaked out before that happened.)

And as to whether I celebrated my man-becoming like a true drunken Aussie, I suppose a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

I'm not a VB drinker usually either, I prefer Carlton Draught usually, but my mates got me VB as a bit of an in-joke. It's not too bad. I don't much like Cascade, but that could be because I've only tried Cascade light and it was so ... well ... light beer-y.
