You cannot select a Pokemon that has participated in a Random Event battle.

Overall notes: Ghosts of aduiances past tend to watch these battles, so beware of Ghost Laughter that'll sometimes cause skittish pokemon to Flitch (Stage Fright, get it?). Also, the ceiling sometimes rains juggle balls. If one hits you and pops, these things will happen=

Blue= Frozen
Red= Burn
Purple= Posioned
Yellow= Stunned/Parazlyed
Speckaled= Confused
Black= Asleep

Level one: Ground floor. It's a dirt ground with a wooden crate in the center for the ringmaster to stand on. Its dimly lit and littered with old wrapped, cotton candy bags, and peanut/popcorn bags. Small posionous Pokemon tend to sleep under these, so becareful.

Level Two: The ground level stage opens up to a high water areana.(High water, like those tanks you see as seaworld. The floor opens up and the tank raises up like the kind they have at Seaworld) Above the areana at 150 feet is a tightrope that's electrically charged when the water floor opens. Bad wiring on our part. Also, three flaming hop arise from the depths at 10 feet. They're lit with Houndoom fire. The pool is a 1000 feet deep and crystal clear. There are two platforms on the either side of the outside of the tank. These are for the trainers to stand. There are no platforms in the tank.

Level Three: The Tightwire hangs over the stage with no net 150 feet in the air. As long as the Water Floor remains closed, it isn't electrically charged. No Pokemon exceeding over 50 pounds.

Sorry I kept you guys waiting, the holidays, although great, were a bit hectic. But, this is going to be the first reffing I'm doing on my laptop. This is also going to be the first time I ref a battle with abilities as well.

One last thing, Mike, what gender is your Poliwag? I'm going to presume it's male unless otherwise stated.

The battle begins inside a mysterious circus tent. With the battle taking place in a tank of water just below the platforms the battlers will soon get to, this could be quite the battle to watch. As both battlers arrive, the first one, Houndoom_Lover, agrees to let her opponent choose her Pokemon...something you don't see too often around these parts. Her opponent, who reveals himself as Mike Mysterio, decides on choosing the Carvanha on Houndoom_Lover's team. As Houndoom_Lover agrees to send out the Carvanha that she named Baron Lord Blood Fist, or Baron for short in this battle, Mike Mysterio sends out a Pokemon of his own. Taking out a Pokeball, he opens it up to reveal a male Poliwag. With that, the two trainers take their places on opposite ends of the arena, and the battle is started by Poliwag, who jumps out of the water to use a Body Slam on Baron. Baron isn't about to let Poliwag get the jump on him so soon, and the Carvanha charges into Poliwag with an Aqua Jet...only to realize that Poliwag's Water Absorb ability nullified most of the damage. But being exposed to Baron's Rough Skin still causes some minor damage to Poliwag, who is able to land on Baron with all his strength, causing the Carvanha to cry in pain for a moment, before grinning on how his Rough Skin damaged Poliwag again.

Baron: -5 Health, -3 Energy
Poliwag: -3 Health (from Rough Skin; from the two Pokemon brushing up against one another), -6 Energy

Polwag, not liking the tiny cuts he received from his collisions with Baron, proceeds to use a Wake-Up Slap on Baron. As he swims over to the Carvanha, he turns to position his tail in front of Baron, and he flicks his tail back and forth, trying his best to ignore the cuts forming on his tail now. Baron, seeing that his last move didn't work due to Water Absorb, retaliates with an Ice Beam, forming a bit of ice on Poliwag's tail as it causes him to cry in pain.

Baron: -8 Health, -9 Energy
Poliwag: -7 Health, -7 Energy

With his tail partially covered in ice, Poliwag furiously swings his tail back and forth on Baron again, causing pain for both of them as almost all the ice breaks off of Poliwag's tail and begins floating on the surface of the water. Once again, Baron is ready for some retaliation, and he spits out a Toxic onto Poliwag, causing him to wince in pain as the poisonous substance splatters all over him and begins to sap his health.

Poliwag: -2 Health (from the Toxic for this round), -7 Energy

Notes:

-With abilities in effect here, a couple of things I should mention, Water moves used on Poliwag by Baron will not cause damage to Poliwag due to his Water Absorb ability, but instead, heal him for a quarter of the amount of damage that would have been caused otherwise (the healing wouldn't be very big anyway if it happened on a future round, only about 1-4% depending on the power of the Water move, if Rain Dance was in effect, etc). Similarly, with Baron's Rough Skin ability, Poliwag's physical attacks on Baron will cause him to take 2% damage each time he makes physical contact with Baron, it's not much, but it can make physical attacks risky. Similarly, as currently stated in the abilities topic (in Businesses & Tournaments), and soon to be in the Stratedex, each time Baron uses a physical attack on Poliwag, Rough Skin causes 1% damage to Poliwag. Again, it's not much, but the small numbers for damage can still add up.

-When I ref Toxic, the damage starts at 2%, with each following round, the damage increases by 2%, doing 4% the next round, 6% the next, 8% the next, and so on.

-Houndoom_Lover, you have the first move for the next round.

Use Taunt and then Zen Headbutt, following it up with a Super Fang!

Ok, use Whirlpool to get him dizzy, then while he is spinning use a Ice Beam to frezze him there, last use a Mud Bomb.

Whirlpools can be trouble here as you two may notice. Oh, BTW, I'm going to have one of the coloured balls fall every 3 rounds...the one it is, as well as its odds of striking either Pokemon by surprise, is up to the randomizer.

The round begins as Baron begins to Taunt Poliwag, bringing on some insults about how tadpoles are supposed to become frogs as they evolve, which angers Poliwag much to the point of attacking, as his eyes begin to glow blue, making the water all around Baron suddenly begin to turn and turn, as a Whirlpool forms, catching the Carvanha right in its hold.

Baron: -2 Health, -5 Energy, trapped in a whirlpool
Poliwag: -6 Energy, Taunted

Trying to swim through the whirlpool in order to reach his opponent, Baron's head begins to glow blue with psychic energy, as he does his best to swim through the whirlpool's strong current to use his Zen Headbutt. His aim is thrown off by the current however, as it proves to be too strong to allow him to reach Poliwag. Seeing as Baron is getting pulled closer and closer to the center of the watery vortex, Poliwag shoots an Ice Beam into the center near Baron, causing the Carvanha to cry in frustration as the swirling water around him gets frozen into ice, not to mention the discomfort this causes for Baron.

Baron: -3 Health, -9 Energy, is trapped in a frozen part of the whirlpool
Poliwag: -9 Energy, Taunted

With the ice greatly hindering his hopes of escaping without some sort of strategy, Baron tries to break free of the ice and get Poliwag back, by planning on using a Super Fang...wait just a moment, what is Super Fang? As Baron ponders on what this foreign move is, he is left open to a Mud Bomb from Poliwag, which sails through the air and splatters on him, and by chance some of that mud finds its way into the Carvanha's eyes, causing him to be temporarily blinded. But, he grins again as he hears Poliwag hacking from the poison in his system, as it continues to sap his strength.

Baron: -6 Health, Accuracy -1, feeling disappointed
Poliwag: -4 Health (from the Toxic for this round), -7 Energy, Taunted

Well, looks like this battle isn't going anywhere anytime soon, Mike Mysterio, what do you think about the current situation? Being as Houndoom_Lover hasn't been on in over a month, I think it's safe to say she has long passed the DQ.

Though, if she is DQed, nobody will be able to get any points from this battle, however, I believe the experience still counts.
