Okay, I’m not good with remembering what people like. But I do know, Asi, that you are now a member of the Darkness Descends gang. So like I did “The Night Before Christmas” with my Scattered Lights characters last year, I shall do “12 Days of Christmas” with our FF: DD characters. So without further ado, let’s start!
“On the first day of Christmas, my goddess gave to me…”
(By which, I mean Sie…)
Me: A Moogle in a pear tree!

Me: A Moogle in a pear tree!”

Me: SORI!
Sori: *flutters in* Hell no! I’d rather shoot myself in the head than be a part of this embarrassment!
Me: Funny you should say that. On the second day of Christmas, my goddess gave to me…
Selene: *walks in*
Me: Two loaded pistols…
Selene: *points her guns at Sori*
Sori: *gulps and sits on crude cardboard cutout of a tree*
Me: And a Moogle in a pear tree!
Sori: This thing doesn’t even have pears on it!
“On the third day of Christmas, my goddess gave to me…three bottles of rum…”
Sirius: *hands her bottles from off-screen*
Me: …They’re empty.
Sirius: Only two of them. You’ll find that there’s a generous amount in the third bottle.
Me: *growls* Two loaded pistols…
Selene: *fires a shot that barely misses Sirius*
Me: And a Moogle in a pear tree.
Sori: *idly waves*
Sirius: You look slightly ridiculous on that perch, little friend.
Sori: *glares*
Me: On the fourth day of Christmas, my goddess gave to me…four nasty shiners…
Sirius: Sounds violent.
Me: I should’ve been clearer. You are the recipient of this gift.
Sirius: I’d hate to ruin your beautiful recitation, but I would like to remind you that I only have two wonderful peepers.
Me: Where’s Adair?
Adair: *hiccups from offscreen* And why am I involved?
Me: Because I know that you also have something to do with this.
Sori: *smirks and goes after him and Sirius*
Me: Three bottles of rum… *takes a sip from third bottle*
Me: Two loaded pistols…
Selene: *calmly polishes guns*
Me: And a Moogle in a pear tree.
Sori: *puts a ‘Out to Lunch’ sign on tree before flying off again*
Me: On the fifth day of Christmas, my goddess gave to me…five golden rings! *holds up a hand, a golden ring on each finger*
Me: Four nasty shiners…
*Adair and Sirius stagger back on screen, sporting black eyes*
Me: Three bottles of rum… *takes a longer sip of rum*
Me: Two loaded pistols…
Selene: *smirks and holds up guns*
Me: And a Moogle in a pear tree!
Sori: *flutters back to tree with big grin on face*
Me: *gets a note from offstage hand* …What do you mean ‘Asi isn’t in Darkness Descends’? Isn’t she…oh wait, that’s Samchu.
Me: …
Others: …
Me: …DAMMIT! *swigs the rest of the rum*
Nii: Nii is surprised you can drink that much.
Me: *staggers and groans*
Nii: Guess she can’t. Nii will finish the rest of the poem!
Me: No no, this is the best idea I’ve had all month and it will be posted in 2009! Even if Asi forgets about it!
Sori: Just skip to day 12.
Me: Fine, fine. On the twelfth day of Christmas, my goddess gave to me…*hic* twelve bishounen scheming…
*Male Organization XIII members walk by*
Me: Eleven Nu Mou tooting…
*Nu Mou Beastmasters walk by blowing on instruments, one farting*
Me: Ew. Ten Dragoons leaping—aaaaah!
*jumps out of the way as Dragoons land, piercing stage with spears*
Me: Nine Viera dancing…
*Viera can-can across stage*
Sori: Helloooooo bunnies! *gets slapped by last one*
Me: Eight Blitzballs blazing… *ducks as they fly overhead*
Me: Seven lolis giggling… *blinks at teleprompter*
Me: WHO WROTE THAT!? *glares at guy behind teleprompter* CUT IT OUT, ROY!
Sori: *zaps him with Thundara*
Me: “Thank you. Okay, six ninjas snatching…” *smirks as they run by*
Me: *holds up hand, not knowing right away that it’s bare* “FIVE GOLDEN—HEY!”
Ninja: *laughs and opens hand, revealing rings*
Me: *runs after him*
Sori: Four nasty shiners…
*Adair and Sirius groan*
Sori: Three empty bottles, two loaded pistols…
Me: *races back on stage* AND A MOOGLE IN A PEAR TREE!
